Dr. London is the REAL THING. I had long lost my faith in chiropractors after getting ripped off by one in Coolidge Corner (with his useless plastic poker stick), but my insurance gives me 15 free visits per year, I was out of PT visits on my insurance, and desperate for pain relief from a muscle disorder. Dr. London is a very caring and professional chiropractor. He listened to my problems, spent the time to learn my story, see for himself what was happening in my body, and then he went to work with a treatment plan that addressed what specifically was happening in my body. He's not one of these "slap the muscle stimulator pads on you, leave the room for 15 minutes, come back, couple of cracks and your done," type of chiropractor: he does the real listening and planning and work that you specifically need. Another one of my favorite aspects of his work is his "energy." I always feel "calmer" and "healthier" after I leave. Whether it's our discussions about Jewish music, spirituality (I was born half-Jewish, was not raised Jewish, and am not a practicing Jewish person, but his love of the culture is infectious), where to get good food, or just learning more about how the body works, there's something "magical" happening in his office. He should be charging for contemplative care as well. I give Dr. London my highest possible recommendation, and I rarely recommend medical care to anyone. After 2 years of constant doctor and specialist visits with little results, finding a great doctor who actually cares about their patients is a rare thing. If you need a chiropractor in Brookline or Boston, Dr. London is your ONLY choice. read more

With prior training as a massage therapist, one would think I would be open to chiropractic care; however, I was always a bit skeptical. Until I had to deal with chronic pain and a stint​ of long term rehabilitation at the MGH for multi-symptom​​s and injuries. It was there that a doctor of physical therapy suggested I see Dr. London, a chiropractor​ that she had seen​ as a patient herself, this was quite reassuring. Admittedly nervous, as I sat in the waiting room while several patients that Nancy (the office manager extraordinaire​) as warm as she is professional, chatted with the patients she seemed familiar​ with; she even watched one patient​s newborn! My first appointment Dr. London was keen on getting every detail and did a thorough​ intake. He is conservative in his adjustments,​ incredibly knowledgable and kind, and more interested in helping you than overbooking you. He possesses​ an expansive knowledge which included the ​Graston technique, which he performed on my knee that helped heal an inflamed bursa and the burning I had been experiencing in my hip for over a year has never returned:) I am grateful. I've been seeing Dr. London for about a year and it's been a game changer! He uses traditional chiropractic approaches and the Graston Technique which has helped tremendously with my lower back and shoulder pain. Dr. London is personable and helps you understand the physiology of your issue in layman's terms. His office manager Nancy is very friendly and works hard to find the right time to fit your schedule. I've been seeing Dr. London for more than four years! What I appreciate the most about his care is that he's devoted to giving as much time as possible to his patients and he's committed to giving a more holistic approach. If I see a chiropractor and the first thing they want is an x-ray, I run. Dr. London knows what the problem is by assessing you in his office, as it should be with any chiropractor. I started doing CrossFit a couple of years ago and he's been wonderful about giving me pointers on how to stay injury-free and even after my most recent injury, he alleviated my shoulder pain immediately by doing some traction work. He does soft-tissue work! This is important as only so much can be accomplished with spinal manipulations. By seeing Dr. London and a physical therapist, I've been able to address problems in my posture. Also, a response to Mandy B.: What's up with you and all of your one-star ratings? Do you exist on Yelp only to reprimand businesses for not treating you like royalty? Sure, having a disability makes things more difficult, but what's with these rants? This review is LOOONG over due. Dr. London has been my "guy" for over 10 years. I work in EMS which places you in awkward lifting situations and I was forced to come see him after I tweaked my back. I found Dr. London on Yelp and I am so fortunate I did. After the 1st visit I was back to work and he took care of all the workers comp paperwork and had me approved for all my initial visits. Then I was set up with a maintenance schedule to come every 6 weeks and that is what I have been doing since, except I moved from the area and it is hard to get into Brookline for me now. Multiple times I have had an issue over the years, such as tweaking my back here and there, Dr. London has gotten me back to normal quickly. He knows his stuff and explains the anatomy of my injury and explains what he is doing and why, his knowledge is extremely impressive. He'a great guy and Nancy his receptionist is extremely sweet. I just had my first appointment today. I was suffering from a severe jaw pain for 1 week. Went to my Physical doctor last week and didn't do anything instead he sent me to my dentist. So I went to my dentist and no positive result either. I googled and read forum about people with TMJD. They said go to Chiropractor so thats what I did. I look for chiropractor in yelp and I found him having legit reviews. So i call their office and even with short notice they was able to squeeze me to get appointment with them ASAP. Hi, I've never made a review before so that alone should tell you how much I estimate Dc London services. If you ever seen a chiropractor before, odds are that you were not impressed. Reset your faith in chiropractors by seeing Dc London. He has an awesome knowledge of the body and great at explaining it. He has multiple techniques in his toolbox so he's able to mix it up to a treatment that is adapted to you. He believes in maintenance session - I do too now - but absolutely not into a dynamic of getting you for the maximum number of session he can cash in. If you go in for a specific injury, he will tell you when he believe he reached the limit of what his treatment can do. Totally trustworthy. Otherwise, easy going fellow. I am finally getting this review done!! Everytime I leave Dr. London's office, I think to myself that I really want to let people know how great he is because I usually walk out feeling so much better! Today was no exception and I was in pretty bad shape with my right side, cervical, lumbar and S1 and 2 out of sorts as well. He adjusted what needed to be and then proceeded with soft tissue / trigger point work on my neck and traps which really alleviated the pain. He really attends to what is going on thoroughly and I appreciate that so much. Dr. London is by far the best chiropractor I've ever been to. I had an acute neck spasm the day before I was supposed to fly to LA and he got me in for an appt right away and helped me! I entered the office barely being able to turn my head in any direction, and I left feeling ready to fly painlessly the next day! Literally a miracle worker, Dr. London is as good as it gets. I was raised to think that chiropractors only knew how to break things until I recently injured my lower back/pelvis and my boyfriend forced me to go to Dr. London. He had used him for a back injury and was up and running after one visit. Well, after I was in the most tortured state I have ever been in for almost 2 days, bf called Dr. London late in the day and he agreed to see me first thing in the morning. I first went to Dr. London for a pain in my shoulder that had been bothering me for about a month. During my first visit, we went through typical background info and he asked me if I ever had headaches. I mentioned that I typically get a headache about once a week, but assumed it was due to eye strain from my job. He suggested making a few adjustments in my neck to see if that helped -- not only did it help, I haven't had a headache since (the shoulder pain is all gone now too)! My only regret is that I didn't go see him sooner. To think I could have saved myself years of frequent headaches and dozens of bottles of Advil. I've been going to Dr. London for about 6 months now and couldn't be happier. My husband has also been going for over a year now and is equally pleased. Dr. London is a MIRACLE WORKER!! I came back from a trip to Vegas a few weeks ago with an extremely tense/stiff neck and headaches. After going to my regular primary care provider with no answers/relief, I chose to try out chiropractic care and see if it helped. Dr. London new immediately that most of my issues were soft tissue related and worked with me to relieve my muscle tension in the form of ART. Dr. london and Nancy, his secretary, ar the niceses, most flexible, and friendly people I know.Nancy, keeps bringing match box cars from her house for my toddler son. They also have toys and building blocks that keep him busy. Both Nancy and Dr. London are so acamadating. Dr. London is extreamly knowledgable about the human body and how to help relive pain. My Husband and myself both visit Dr. London and he has helped us and totally relived back, neck, and lower back pain. We even got my Mother-in-law that lives in North Carolina to see Dr. London. My Mother in Law was not able to come visit us for monthes b/c she was in such pain and neather the Doctors, pain medication nore the Physical therapists were able to help her with her back, neck, arm pain. As soon as she was well enough to travel, we took her stright away to Dr. London, and he releied her pain with in 3 days!!!!! She was pain free after months of extreamly pain. I would highly reccomend visiting Dr. London's office as it is not a waist of money or time. Our previous Ciropractor, was very nice, but she did not relive our pain and she couldn't even manage to 'crack' my husbands neck, which would have relived his debiletating headaches. Dr. London is great! He really cares for each patient uniquely and is super accommodating. I managed to call him first thing in the morning after my hip started seizing up after a run and he managed to squeeze me in WITHIN the hour. His hours work great for people who work full time and he takes his time to explain everything he is doing. Dr. London is an amazing chiropractor, and completely fixed my back. I have had lower back pain on and off for years, and could never figure out what was wrong. I've been in and out of emergency rooms, doctor's offices, and physical therapy, and no one has ever been able to help me. This past winter I injured myself, and I was sure I had broken my back. After the same ER/physical therapy routine, I was told there was nothing wrong with me, even though I couldn't walk upright. I woke up one morning and I could barely move my legs. He takes the time to explain and help me understand what's going on with my body, and the combination spinal adjustments and work on muscles (graston is amazing) makes such a difference.
