The cinnamon rolls (get it heated up!) are my absolute favorite. I'm newer to judging roasts & differences in beans, but in my opinion the coffee is always a perfect brew. This is a nice spot in an otherwise unexciting area of Queens. After biking in the heat, it was comforting to find Brooklyn Barista had plenty of seating, a fridge stocked with different drinks, and a bathroom. After settling in, I ordered an iced vanilla latte. I don't know if it was because I was seriously parched or if it was from the oat milk I added but the latte was especially yummy. It was super creamy and delicious. I also tried the coffee cake muffin, which was good. However, the exciting section of the pastry case was the many vegan brownies they have: rocky road, salted caramel, cookie dough, and s'mores. I appreciated the vegan options and the rocky road brownie I got was definitely worth it. They are gigantic! They have a deli section too but no vegan options for a sandwich. ~BASED ON DELIVERY ONLY~ I didn't have a great experience with BB the last time I ordered but wanted to give it another chance because they were so good in the beginning. I ordered a tuna melt and understandably, the sandwich was cold when I received it. However, the cheese wasn't melted AT ALL . You could see the thick individual slices of cheese just by looking at it and the bread itself had been barely toasted on one side and the other side was white, so this tuna melt was essentially cold tuna with cold cheese slapped on it that was "toasted" for two seconds and packaged. For the price, it was completely not worth it and made me wish I'd had gone to the store and bought the items myself, since that would've been a better experience. I ordered through the Yelp app for delivery this morning. It was delivered through GrubHub. I had no issue with the delivery, but I did have an issue with the food. I ordered a Reuben sandwich. It was soggy and completely gross. The meat on the sandwich was rubbery and I'm pretty sure the worst I've ever experienced in my entire life of eating Reuben sandwiches. The sandwich was large and had a good filing to bread ratio. I loved the brioche bun option, which they don't as an option most places! The cappuccino was tasty, but wasn't a true cappuccino, no foam, and was a full cup of liquid, more of a latte. The crumb cake looked great, but was very dry and seemed stale unfortunately. Judging by other reviews, the sandwiches are where it's at, and based on ut egg sandwich, I will definitely come back to try more of the sandwich menu. read more

Brooklyn Barista has a menu of about 20-30 breakfast and lunch sandwiches. My go-to is the ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant (6.50). I get the lox sandwich on a bagel for Rus ($9). The croissant sandwich is so good! They don't skimp on the ingredients, so it's loaded with ham and cheese. They also have sweet treats -- including vegan muffins. And of course, Brooklyn Barista offers a full cafe menu and a cold case full of beverages (juice, cold brew, kombucha, etc). I love Brooklyn Barista! Honestly they've done such a great job throughout this whole pandemic, I wanted to come back and leave another 5 stars. Used to live around the corner, but now I have to rely on seamless for my fix. I truly don't know how they fulfill the order and have it delivered so quickly, literally arrives in less than 20 minutes (although I usually place my order on the early side, sometime between 8-10am). They have one of my favorite chai lattes and I HIGHLY recommend their breakfast sandwiches on the brioche roll - so good! My only suggestion for them is I wish they had more vegan sandwich options.
