You come here to put down the screen and enjoy the moment. So often do we rush through our coffees, or even bring them to meetings, at the beck and call of the city's hustle. But at Posto the kind, talented, customer-first team asks you to slow down and escape all of that, to savor every sip of coffee in the classic Italian style. Walking in feels more like a poem than a cafe. They have cocktails, coffee cocktails, coffee drinks, and several food menus. We came hungry, only to see the sandwich menu taken away because they were out (this was at 3 pm, and they close at 7). This is such a New York thing, but if you're selling cocktails and groceries until the evening, running out of mortadella sandwiches is not the same as when Radio Bakery sells out by noon...
