I've gone to Brookln Blend a few times (for research of course ;-)) and must say the Park Slope Salmon Sandwich is perfect EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! They don't miss!! I've paired my burger with the quinoa and the roasted potatoes and its just so tasty. The roasted potatoes are crispy and tender on the inside. The quinoa was perfectly seasoned, now let me explain-- I don't like quinoa, but I saw it on someone's plate and just had to get it. Once I did, I was upset I'd never had there before because theres just so much flavor. Ive had two of the smoothies, Eastern Parkway and the Marcy Mango. The Mango was my favorite because it had just the right amount of sweetness where the Eastern Parkway was too sweet for me. I think because of the passionfruit but I would definitely recommend to friend who loves tropical flavors. There's usually a great playlist in the background my favorite days are when Travis has the "aux cord" shout out to you!! But what makes me come back every single time is the exceptional service. They make one of the best protein shakes and smoothies. The salmon burger is so good you will want two. They use a special type of sauce that they make, makes the burger taste even better. My girl was here on Sunday and said she had THEE BEST breakfast sandwich - Dekalb Avenue sandwich. Both my shrimp and salmon salads were simply amazing. My salmon, black rice and cucumber salad was equally delicious, especially with the added pepper sauce. I have also enjoyed several delicious smoothies, a banana carrot muffin, apple muffin, and hot chocolate. If you get a muffin, make sure you get it toasted with butter. The customer service is on point and the music is tempered enough not to be distracting. I especially love the large windows, allowing more than enough light into this lovely space. The salmon is always perfect, the tumeric bun is always perfect, and that sauce is to die for. To drink I've tried the chai latte (with and without espresso) and the Sheapshead Bay Breeze smoothie. Please note that on the website/delivery sites simple syrup isn't mentioned in the ingredients. It is however on the menus when you dine-in at the establishment. The smoothie is very good - sweet and tart at the same time. If you aren't heavy on sweet things I'd bypass it or ask for no simple syrup. PS: they also play amazing music! Classic motown to 90s R&B.
