If I could give a ZERO I would!!! Not only did my entire order come wrong...(wasn't that big a deal thought it could be fixed) I was told by the manager that I was a liar and need to deal with door dash!!! FIRST: I just drove cross country and get to my hotel and see all these wonderful reviews (did I mention I'm from Brooklyn, NY) so I figured great!! I'm 8 months pregnant and starving. So I call to order delivery and was told I could not speak with them....I told them I had a complicated order and wanted to go over it and I was told to use door dash and use there buttons on their app that they don't help over the phone....I asked can I order over the phone and come pick it up? No. I have to use door dash. So I downloaded this app; have to set up apple wallet after 20 mins I place the order. Did you know that this place does not give napkins or utensils unless you ask!!!! $51.37 I spent on food!!!! Everything was wrong and when I called I was told to get in contact with door dash! They do what they are told by door dash!! So I ordered a chicken roll that supposedly comes with sauce but I didn't get any!!! Not the pizzerias fault it was mine is what I was told!!!! I should have asked for it?!?! NEVER IN MY LIFE!! I ordered a large pie 1/2 meatball 1/2 regular (cheese) I got a greesy crumbled up meatball all over everything that made me sick the dough was tasteless and the sauce was non-existent! This is not NY pizza by far!! I would have got better pizza from Papa John's and I don't even like them!! I ordered a salad antipasto and asked for no ham, no salami substitute chicken (picture explains it all) no chicken or barely a piece!! A flipping joke I spent 52.00 and can't eat any of it!!!!! The manager told me I asked my guy and he said he did it right!!! Not once was I told, "I'm sorry or let me make you a new pizza or let me make this right or Let me get you the sauce or chicken it was suppose to come with!!! I will bring this food back to them and let them know this is not how you treat people!!!!! A joke this place is!!!! Disgusting!!!!!!! *******I decidedly to bring back the food since the so called "manager" basically told me I was lying since his response was, "my guy said he did it lady"! I walked in and asked to speak with the manager and the kid at the front register was like he's right there. I stated I'm the woman who you just spoke with and he shrugged his shoulders and said, "yea". (With such a nonchalant attitude!!! Still no apology still no let me make things right) I took out the salad and showed it to him and he shook it and flipped it upside down a few times and I asked him does that look like it was done right?! This is what was delivered and he said so what do you want?! As if my presence was upsetting him! I said I want my money back I spent over 50.00 bucks and I brought you back the food that was all incorrect and at no point did you try and make this right!! He raised his voice at me when the customers in the store started looking at him to see what he was going to do to make it right but instead said that because you were screaming at me lady over the phone and I laughed and said do you hear my voice (I lost my voice 2 days ago) this is a joke, you are suppose to try and make things right so the kid next to him says I'm being difficult!! They are going to give me my money back so I can get out of the store!!! I am so flabbergasted!!!!!! The "manager" then reached into the draw and threw a 50 dollar bill on top of the pizza box I had brought in and said now you can leave and have a good day!! Mind you it's 8:45pm! At no point did they offer to feed me seeing that I am very pregnant instead they as in the manager and kid at this point were very confrontational and giving me the attitude like I gave you money back so leave!!! What the heck?!?!? Is it a full moon or something! I have been in customer service for over 13 years and I have never encountered such a ridiculous situation! I actually said to the manger that I expected when I called for you try and make things right like offer to make the pizza right or offer to fix my order but instead I'm in shock you told me to contact Dash whatever it's called that the pizza store is t in control of what is made or put in a bag like if I don't ask for napkins or utensils on a 50+order they don't ever offer it " listen lady we don't ever supply utensils (said while taking a breath in and chuckling) like what place have you ever ordered 3 meals from and not get anything like a napkin or utensils or plates for the pizza PIE I just ordered! Sorry for he rant but I should have been apologized to and at the very least offered to make things right or offered food! Not thrown money at and asked to leave he establishment!!! Yummy pizza. We ordered the bbq chicken pizza and a vegetarian one called queen I believe. Anyway the pizza is massive! Did not expect it to be so big which was a pleasant surprise. We love thin crust so this was really good. I am not a fan of bbq chicken pizza because most places put on too much bbq sauce and it gets so dang sweet. The one here had the right amount of sauce with its toppings which wasn't overwhelming like other places. The queen pizza was alright, not bad, but okay. Still good, but will be trying other pizzas from their menu. Glad to have this pizza restaurant close by. read more

Being a New York native, this was NOT NY Pizza AT ALL so I was very disappointed because I read so many great reviews on it. I literally had to use about 30 napkins to constantly wipe off the grease. The pizza was big, I'll give them that, but the quality of it was not worth the price at all. The crust tasted and felt like saltine crackers without the salt. The pizza had barely any flavor to it, so I was basically eating cardboard. It took FOREVER for the pizza to be ready and the customer service wasn't all that great. I felt rushed to order and the guy at the cash register kept looking behind me to see how many more people were behind me. There are so many other pizza places in the surrounding area and I will not be coming back to this one. read more

A while back I posted a negative review for Brooklyn Boyz Pizza. The boss must've been away because the pizza was awful. However, this weekend we were right near the place around dinnertime so we got two pizza's to go. You have been forgiven. It was as it used to be, very good. Moral of this story: just because a restaurant screws up once in a while, doesn't mean it's the end. Revisit again to see if it was a one time booboo. Speaking if which, gotta revisit Enzos On Oceanside blvd. Our last visit a month ago was not good. We love this place, don't know what happened. Must follow my own advice and go back. Stopped in earlier today for some NY authenticity and that is essentially what I received. I phoned in a pick-up order [while shopping at a neighboring Stator Bros.] for two slices of pepperoni and a baked calzone stuffed with meatball, sausage & peppers. NOTE: You're only allowed up to 3 toppings on a baked calzone and ZERO toppings on a fried calzone -- that was kind of a bummer. Minus one star for the limitations, but it does make sense that you don't want to overstuff any pockets. Ordering over the phone was authentic [as well] because I got the brash NY attitude from the person taking my order. I'm assuming he was the owner/main operator but I could be mistaken... -- I'm not complaining though as it made for a more authentic feel and each region of any place in the world has their own way of communicating. No stars off for authenticity. Regards to the pizza--it was delicious. I'll have to come in again to try an entire pie freshly baked. There may be some hidden magic within a freshly baked pie that is outside the realm of a couple of reheated slices. Regarding the calzone -- it was meh -- I prefer more mozzarella over ricotta and the toppings were only so-so. Sad, but true, IMHO. I plan to stick to fresh pies when I do return because I honestly foresee a great pie when it's baked fresh and served out of the oven. First, they gave us the wrong pizza. We ordered 3 slices (2 lasagna and 1 sicilian) and they gave us 3 cheese slices instead. The line was also super unorganized. I had already paid for it and just needed to pick it up so it should've just been an in-and-out thing, but I ended up waiting for 10 minutes in the line. Need an organized pick-up process. Finally, upon actually eating the pizza, it was really hard and lacking flavor. We added Brooklyn Boyz to our "Pizza list" to compete against Domino's and Mountain Mike's, and it was a unanimous decision that Brooklyn Boyz was the worst of the three. If a pizzeria can get even the simplest of creations done right, they win me over... and that's Brooklyn Boyz did. I'm not picky with my toppings on a pizza, but even so, their cheese and pepperoni pizzas are amazing. You can order pizza by the slice (big plus) so you don't have to sit with eating an entire pie by yourself (I know some of us are guilty of that, don't deny it). I have yet to try their creative inventions but when I do, I will update this review. You can still order pizza by the pies and have it to go, so don't feel left out if you think you have to sit with and eat an entire pie inside the pizzeria. The staff are friendly and the New York memorabilia around the pizzeria gives it a nice vibe to it. You can see them make the different kinds of pies in front of you, which ia really cool. I really appreciate the uniqueness they have to offer, I've never heard of Lasagna Pizza before I stepped foot into this place and damn, its the perfect taste combo of lasagna and pizza, nothing overpowering, just full of flavor and taste. The pasta-pizza combo continues with the Baked Zitti pizza which I had a slice of today and is my new personal favorite. The heroes they have to offer are off the charts too. 5 stars across the board. The guys that work here are great, there was a Jesse & a B-O-B. You gotta love a guy named Bob. One of my clients was a construction job site, and I was looking for pizza to treat these guys as a thank you. Once I saw the word "New York pizza" I was sold. Called up before they opened, spoke to Bob, and put in my order. When I picked it up, these guys were cool as hell, they hooked me up with the pizzas & included everything but the kitchen to bring out to the construction site. I ordered the Marine Park & the Brooklyn Deluxe, plus the cheese bread & garlic knots. Everything was AMAZING. The meatballs on the Marine Park, were not what I expected. they were sliced and SO good. I will definitely be coming back to try their other items on the menu. This place is a MUST! Was a loyal customer here, but have stopped going. They changed their specials that were good -- Monday pizza and Wednesday spaghettin dinner -- to bad ones. They never seem to have Sicilian slices when they used to have them as a staple.
