We ordered two large pizzas; a pepperoni and mushroom and a Hawaiian. They came hot from the oven. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They both looked and smelled good. Unfortunately my family and I found them just a little bland to our taste. I prefer a sauce with a little spice but this one didn't have much. I'm n not. Sure no will go back but a lot. I came here for lunch, when the line at in n out across the street was winding around the parking lot. They have a great lunch menu, and if you want a slice of cheese or pepperoni, you can get it for under $3. 2 slices and a drink for under $7. They do have limited pizzas available by the slices. When I went, they had cheese, pepperoni, Hawaiian and meat lovers in the case, however their menu has some creative options! It seems like they are only available if you order the whole pie, or they have rotating flavors. Good pizza for the price, however there is better pizza out there. They had a pretty extensive menu, and they have chicken wings, salads and different pasta dishes. Not a lot of ambiance here, there is not a lot of seating. I've had many different pizzas in the decade that I lived here. This has to be the best pizza I've ever had! I get so excited about it, I wish I could shout it from the rooftops. Honestly I wish I could leave more than one 5 star review. Whenever I think about breaking my diet, Lupillozz is one of the first restaurants I crave. First off, don't expect anything fancy. This is Pizza 101: Elements of Pizza. But they use a dough recipe that tastes like happiness. We didn't order pizza so can't say anything about that. We ordered the baked ziti, so so, but you really better love garlic. Same with the spaghetti with marinara, you really better love garlic. So on my way home I decided I needed a "lil sumthin" to hold me over until I fix dinner later tonight. I decided to stop by Lupilloz Pizza and grab some breadsticks. I'm glad I did, best $7 I spent on a snack ha ha! The breadsticks are great, they are soft and ready with some marina sauce for dipping. We came here for lunch while we waited for a medical appointment nearby. The cashier was SUPER nice and friendly. The customer service was spot on. We ordered the lunch special that had 2 slices of pepperoni and a drink and added an additional drink and the whole thing came out to less than $10 and the slices were BIG. The pizza itself was very good. Not anything fancy, but if you have a picky kid this likely will be perfect for them. The cheese and pepperoni were really good. The dough was unique in that it was much more airy than what I'm used to which I thought was good, but I can see some people not liking it. This is the best pizza place in vista! I would normally order from lamppost but there "large" pizza was just always too small, it was more like a medium pizza, and for $29 bucks I wanted a large pizza that's actually large. So I decided to give lupillozz pizza a try, I placed my order through grub hub and I was afraid their large pizza was going to be small too so I opted for the giant pizza which was also $29 bucks with an added topping. As time goes by and it's almost closing time I give them a call and ask where my grub hub order is. They had told me no one from grub hub has picked it up yet, but they would be happy to cancel the grub hub order and deliver it themselves. I was very impressed with how friendly they were and offered to deliver it even after they were closed. I gave my card info over the phone and within 3 minutes the door bell rang! It was my pizza! Not only were they so friendly but they were SO fast! The giant pizza was..... HUGE! I was not expecting that at all! The pizza box didn't even fit on the stove top, and the pizza slices didn't fit on a plate. I was extremely impressed with how large it was for the price! Lamppost very small "large" pizza was the same price as Lupillozz very "giant" pizza! Not only that the pizza was INCREDIBLE! The best pizza I've had in vista thus far. It was extremely flavorful with lots of cheese and the crust was excellent and cooked perfectly. I was very impressed by my experience ordering from them, you can order via a delivery food app or just call them yourselves and they can deliver as well. I highly recommend just placing your order through them as they will get it to you very fast and the customer service is spot on! Very friendly and will do anything to accommodate you. I will forever be a customer here, the pizza is so delicious and very affordable. The giant size pizza is great for large groups and parties and will definitely get a lot of attention. Lupillozz is my #1 choice for pizza delivery. The pizza dough and crust are baked to perfection, not too doughy or too crispy. The sauce is well balanced, the cheese sometimes does that stretchy stringy thing from cartoons in the 90s, and the pepperoni & sausage are my favorite toppings, though their Hawaiian pizza is also fantastic. I also like their parmesan breadsticks and garlic cheese bread. Their staff is super nice and recognize my voice when I call to order, often addressing me by name before I even identify myself, just really top notch customer service. Their prices aren't bad either, especially in comparison to a lot of other pizza places in Vista. Their delivery service is really great in particular. They deliver the pizzas themselves, so you don't have to worry about your pizza arriving cold and upside down because an Uber/DD driver took too many orders trying to survive in a broken business model. Updating this to say this was the worst pizza I've ever had. It was just a cheese pizza (red sauce base) with a few slices of onions and chicken. Terrible. Never ordering again. There wasn't a spot to request extra cheese so I asked for it in special instructions. To my surprise $4.14 was added because of the request. I ordered the Giant Pizza and I never saw a pizza so big in my entire life. I seen pictures on the internet or news but never in person. So, if you want to experience a GIANT pizza this is your place. I had to put the pizza in my trunk. The pizza tastes good. Not the best pizza I ever had but it was enjoyable. I think the pizza was about $35 for 1 topping. Also, my family enjoyed the pizza too. They were amazed how large the pizza was and they never seen such a GIANT pizza before. Was looking for some good non-chain pizza nearby Vista, the other day. Spent some time on the internet looking for a place I hadn't heard of or been to already and came upon Lupillozz. Called them up, and the young lady who answered the phone seemed nice. There was some confusion over prices but I got that clarified. Ordered a small Supreme to try them out. Delivery ($3.00) was an option so I said ok. Time quoted was ~45 minutes which seemed reasonable to me. The pizza arrived, the delivery guy was nice, and the pizza was nice and hot. While nothing spectacular it was good (I've had better and I've had worse - theirs was about in the middle).....good enough that I decided to try another one tonight, to see about consistency. Called and ordered a medium Supreme this time as the small was VERY SMALL. I guess I'm not very good at visualizing a 10" pizza! Also decided to try a Lasagna. Was told it came with garlic bread....asked about upgrading to garlic cheese bread but decided not to for an additional $3.50, as I had some sliced provolone and mozzarella at home, so I figured if I really wanted it I could "augment" the included garlic bread. Sadly, their version of "garlic bread" is a roll, apparently with a little garlic and oregano sprinkled on top. As I REALLY like garlic bread I must say I was disappointed. I actually called and was informed what I got WAS garlic bread. I'll include pic of what I did get and what I expected and you be the judge! Additionally, the Lasagna was very weird in taste and texture. Too much of something, some spice, that's for sure! Oh well. Definitely never again!! Not a good overall Lasagna experience! The pizza was pretty much as before. Good, but not great. But consistent, so far, which is a GOOD thing!! All in all, at least when it comes to their Supreme Pizza, if it remains consistent for future orders I will continue to periodically order it. I will NOT be experimenting with anything else, however. If I want Lasagna, I will get it from either Felipe's or Mama's and Papa's.....as will I for Garlic Bread! I cautiously recommend Lupillozz for Pizza (at least for their Supreme Pizza).....but cannot personally recommend anything else. And as always, this is just my opinion, from two recent experiences.
