    Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich
    Jackson Y.

If this were Tuesday, I would be looking for some Tacos, but it's a Monday. I looked through Yelp and found Brooklyn Dip and Burger. What sealed the deal was the pics of ... corn nuggets! Ambience - the dining room has the charm of an old school Brooklyn tavern or diner. Food: Corn Nuggets - crunchy on the outside, sweet and creamy on the inside 5/5 Wings - Memphis Dry Rub. Crunchy and well seasoned. 5/5 Wings - Korean BBQ - Sweet and Spicy. 4/5 Prime Rib Dip - was a little too well done and dry. The Aus Jus dipping sauce saves this. 3/5 Milkshakes - they give you the option to add sprinkles and cherry on top! 4/5 Service: Super friendly staff.

Double Smash Burger with onion rings

Brooklyn Dip And Burger, I was so excited to see you open a location closer to me! If you read my review for the other spot, Brooklyn Dip And Burger re-created the famous Brennan & Carr Roast Beef sandwich. So much so, my buddy was drinking from the gravy boat! I'm reading the menu and I see a Smashburger style burger offering. Here's a description off the menu: Choose a single or double . lb. patty that has been smashed thin to get those extra crispy flavorful edges. I've had a Smashburger before, what was served to me was not a Smashburger. I walk in and see about 5 guys at the bar with the same shirt on, all enjoying lunch. No one is drinking a beer, maybe one of them is a supervisor? I grab a Peroni on tap and order a Double Smashburger with Cheddar Cheese along with a side of Onion Rings. My food comes out quickly. The onion rings, look at my picture, the onion rings are a little overcooked. Not a big deal. The double patty burger isn't smashed! I want what was described: A double patty that has been smashed thin to get those extra crispy flavorful edges. No crispy edges, its slightly smashed, like they leaned on it? It's not a crispy smash burger. Sadness. Hey, I will be back for that awesome Steak Sandwich! The bartender & I were BSing this afternoon, he made the place great by taking care of everyone at the bar. Brooklyn Dip, the Burger needs some Hulk Smash!

I've driven past Brooklyn Dip and Burger a few times but never had a chance to actually go in and eat ... UNTIL tonight. I was able to enjoy dinner with my son while the hubs went out for boys night out and all I can say is, 'thank god for boys night out!!' The food was fantastic!! We ordered the crispy corn nuggets, the Brooklyn Classic burger, the Brooklyn Smash (single) and the traditional mac. There were like 20 crispy corn nuggets in the order and they were actually very crispy .. not a soggy one in the order. It came with a dijon horseradish dipping sauce which had a nice kick to it. My son had the Brooklyn Classic burger and added carmelized onions which he loved with the accompanying 'bridge sauce'. His only complaint, which really isn't a complaint when you think about it, was that the pickles on the burger were bread and butter which he usually doesn't enjoy BUT said he wouldn't have changed it because the any other pickles would have ruined the burger. He also ordered the traditional mac which he also enjoyed. I ordered a single Brooklyn Smash which came with their white bbq sauce. Our server, Devin, told us that the sauces are all made in-house. Talking about Devin ... what a nice guy. Very polite and attentive. He filled up my son's water glass whenever it ran low. He mentioned how they would be offering vegan items & gluten-free buns in the near future. We definitely will be returning!!! Wishing Brooklyn Dip and Burger in Mineola continued success!!

Came back in & was offered a complimentary house pineapple cocktail or wine & I chose to try new things! The cocktail was good but not my thing so I purchased a glass of their house pour line 39. It was smooth & full bodied. I introduced my gf to the off menu burger & corn nuggets & she loved it too.we tried the parm truffle fries & they were bomb & the pork belly tacos were good and so was the spicy chicken sandwich. Everything on the menu is tasty. I am kind of not sober as I write this review. The combination of the two drinks = strong JUST GO HERE. Trust me!

I live in the town and I can be the worst when it comes to eating in my own town lol. Burgers though I mean if you open a new place 5 mins from me I will make it a point to hurry on over. So after holiday shopping one afternoon we stopped by for some take out (wish we had stayed) Waze for whatever reason took us to the wrong spot, it seems to happen to some people no idea why. Owner was super nice and my burger was delicious. Place is really cute and my hubs is still sad I tried a new burger place without him lol. I'm like it's just a reason to actually come here to eat eventually :P yay for a good, cool looking spot in our town.

I went on past Sunday when there were football games. The restaurant had a dozen wings for $12. We ordered two flavors, Korean Bbq and garlic Parmesan that were both extremely tasty. Wings were perfectly crispy outside. I'm impressed by single smash burger beautifully assembled with quarter pound beef patty and vegetables( lettuce, tomato, onion). Even without melting cheese, it is still good enough. Cheese is an add-on you pay for it. The ambience is casual and comfortable. Service is fast, and waitress is nice. It is a good place for quick and decent fast food.

A solid French dip sandwich given the quantity and quality. Delivery time was a bit slow but not too bad. Will order again.

I am giving the 1 star for the service (which was wonderful). The food on the other hand was not what I was hoping for. I always try a few things at a new place. The first was the garlic wings (they were not hot all the way through) and extremely lite on the flavor. Next was the burger; I asked for it medium rare, but it came back well done. Lastly was the chicken sandwich. I asked if it were thin or a thick piece of chicken (mainly because if thin it is typically dry). They said not thin but it was plus dry and no seasoning. This place will have to up its game .

The service here was outstanding. You can tell they really care about their customers and would love to see you again! To drink, I had a spicy margarita. Super tasty! To eat I had the Thai chili wings. They were delicious and crispy. Breaded and fried hard! I loved them. The cajun fries and burger was also delicious. Thank you so much brooklyn dip and burger

First time here after finishing up some Christmas shopping. Ambiance was super chill and relaxed. Staff was friendly. We ordered a variety of food such as Buffalo Wings for the appetizer, Crispy Chicken sandwich, Chicken BLT sandwich, and the Roast Beef Dip sandwiches. We coupled those with a basket of fries and onion rings, which were enough to share. Everything tasted delicious. The wings were my absolute favorite, cooked to perfection. We also ordered Moscow Mules and milkshakes. The Moscow Mules were on point. The bartender made good drinks. The strawberry milkshake was just ok. Overall, we had a great experience, and we definitely plan on returning.

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night and the place was pretty dead. We ordered a triple Brooklyn smash, fries and Korean bbq wings. The burger was below average, really had no flavor to it at all and was loaded with lettuce. The same goes for the wings, which were average at best. The wings had sauce on them but half of each wing had no sauce. You've got to get the whole wing covered in sauce. Fries with the chipotle mayo were the best part of the meal. Also, the service wasn't that good and seemed like we inconvenienced them. I had high hopes for this place, but there's better burger places to eat at.

I never write a review unless I feel it is warranted! I must also state that whoever has written a bad review of this place is a full blown jag off! The off menu burger & corn nuggets I had were outrageous! I'm no newcomer to the knife and fork and this place is outstanding! I've been to all top notch restaurants for burgers. 4 Charles , Lugers, Minetta tavern, and Brooklyn Dip is no joke! It's a heavyweight and worth every penny! So happy I stumbled upon this place.

It's been about 4 years since I've been to The Burger Spot, but the food and service is still as great as I remember it to be. I used the ordering service through their website and put in my order for pickup. I walked into The Burger Spot and went to the cashier. My order was behind the counter and ready for pickup. My go to speciality burger is Swiss ($15.95). Swiss comes with swiss, mushrooms, and caramelized onions. Burgers are served with fries. The burger was juicy and just the way I remember it to be. The fries are very crispy and the white sauce it comes with is very good. My husband ordered one of the specials, the Tamarind Cilantro Chicken Sandwich ($16.54). This sandwich is grilled chicken with pepper jack cheese, avocado, arugula, topped with homemade Tamarind cilantro salsa on ciabatta. The sandwich was also served with a side of fries, but you can substitute it for others like he chose 1/2 Sweet Potato / 1/2 Onion Rings for $2.07 more. There were only a few onion rings, but they are big. The sandwich was packed with flavors. The Burger Spot is the spot for burgers and fries. Dressed casually in this casual setting that was well lit. We came to take advantage of a deal that was advertised "combo BOGO 50% off" within the hours of the promotion, but we were taken advantage of! Asking the employee for the advertised combo he specifically and directly point at the sandwich menu which was significantly higher priced starting at $18. It looks like a steak sandwich, I asked if it was a burger, he stated that it comes like a burger. So we each ordered that and with onion rings. He stated that they come with French fries, we said we wanted to have onion rings for an extra charge. I'm starting to notice a language comprehension challenge in the exchange as he kept saying that the sandwich comes with fries, He later confirms our order minus fries and stated that there's $.75 extra. Sitting down viewing the aesthetics as stated previously, we started observing the menu closer and noticed that the menu says " burger combos" starting at $11. Questions does arise about the promo. Talking to the employee, asking why does the menu say combo and you pointed to the sandwich, his reply was that sandwiches are the only combos that they have. I replied but that sign says sandwiches and the other menu says burger combos and you pointed to the sandwiches, why would you point to the sandwich. I was looking for his guidance into the right direction. If looks could kill, he'd be serving a life sentence. I interpreted the look as he was caught in a trap with no way out because he said they only had one combo. So he admitted, after interrogation that we could have ordered the P. S Burger combo. His tactics to spend my money was misleading in every shape form or fashion. The sandwiches (not a burger even though it looked like a burger) had chunks of steak and was falling apart every time you bit into it, leaving chunks of meat in your mouth, that you must now negotiate in order not to choke. We could have walked away happy and satisfied spending $18 minus tax. Instead I spent $18 on one sandwich for a total of $28.5. ( 2 orders of onion rings and the BOGO) To add, they bring you the food, put a tip jar out, and expect you to tip on top of being taken for $10 extra. So the extra went into revenue, not the tip jar. I actually thought P.S Burger would add to our palate but it's just not going to work out. The employee's actions led us to spend more than intended, and that affected the overall experience. But still.... Inspire more, Yelp more!

Upon walking in, I was greeted by the cashier and while walking around the employees always checked in and asked if I needed help especially when I was near the meats or deli area where there were a bunch of sides and hot foods. The place is a hidden gem I never knew existed near me with so many variety of Italian goodies. From sauces, to pasta (dry and frozen), to bread, to cheeses, to meats, to prepared hot foods in a container, to gift baskets, to baked goods. You name it, they most likely have it! There's also a fridge with a bunch of unique drinks as well as standard sodas and teas. I have been back so often ever since discovering this place. Can't wait for my next trip back here!
