This is easily one of the best burger places I've ever been to! The menu is overwhelming, which is a good thing because there's such a great variety! They have every type of burger you could ever want, and everything is customizable. You can also substitute for chicken breast, turkey burger, or veggie burger. I got the Hawaiian with grilled chicken and it was messy but absolutely incredible. The flavor and portion size were both great. They don't come with fries, so my table of three split an order and it was enough for all of us. Their milkshakes look really good too, but I was way too full after my burger. They have old video game systems in the booths that you can play while you're waiting for your food, which is really cool. Burger Shack is located near a school and they offer a student special; the kids all come over for lunch, so be prepared that it will be absolutely packed on a weekday at lunchtime. I'm talking line out the door, completely overrun by teenagers packed. I would recommend trying to come a bit earlier or you'll be waiting forever. We ordered the Don Burger which was very tasty and Summer Burger which was not - it was quite bland. The Fries were plentiful for two people, but mediocre quality. Each one has a fun twist but I always am free to add on or change then burger. Lots of free toppings/add ons as well as other premium toppings. Locos burger with added lettuce and tomato was delicious. The crispy Cheetos (NOT soggy) with the nacho cheese sauce, bacon all were quite the pairing. Each bite warranted another and before I knew it burger was gone. My dad loved his Mac and Cheese burger had a little kick to it. The fries, waffle fries, spicy fries (they have heat), skinny fries (Gravy goes perfect on these), animal fries (waffle fries cheese bacon), and the onion rings. A friend has been posting about this spot for a while and I've always wanted to come because it would be an uninterrupted meal. They have Nintendo systems to entertain my kids while I ate my meal in peace. The cashier and lady prepping meals were super kind to help explain everything on the menu. If I wanted to knit-pick my only complaint would be that my kid chose a table that had sauce on the TV but they could easily clean that off later. Loveee this place ! My fiancé and I are always in Long Island and we love burgers so this was an easy pick. We both ordered the spicy Mike burger and the Animal Fries to share. They have a decent variety of sauces and you're able to self serve your own drink and put your sauces in cups to go or stay. Once our food was ready we picked it up at the counter and picked a table to sit at. Each table has either a version of Nintendo or Super Nintendo along with a TV and two controllers for guests to play. The burgers were really good it came with onion rings, cheese and bacon. I'm not a big fan of onion rings and didn't notice when ordering so my fiancé at mine although I did try one and it was pretty good. Def a fun place for the kids or kid at heart. Walk in and you get slapped with the LARGEST MENU EVER! If you are an indecisive person, this might not be it for you. While waiting for our order we sampled from their wall of sauce bottles then seated ourselves at the booths. Each booth was equipped with a screen and a mini nintendo console with 2 controllers. Very retro and a fun way to distract the kids or yourself. Our food came out super fast thought and piping hot. We immediately went in for it and you can tell from the first bite, everything was just frozen ready made products. The poppers were not good. You bite through the shell and the jalapeños are tough and you cannot cut through it. The cheezy filling was not tasty at all. Fries were good as usual, but the burger patties were def made from frozen. For the money we spent, we felt we could have gone to the supermarket and bought these ingredients from the frozen aisle and just made it for a fraction of the cost. Nothing special or different enough to make the trip worth it. If you are not as picky as I am then I still think you will enjoy the atmosphere.
