Someone referred me to RPPM and I called them kind of skeptical bc I've had bad experiences before with management companies that just take your money and don't really do much. But these guys are different. John was straight with me from the jump, explained everything they do, didn't oversell it. They handled some violation issues I had pending and I didn't have to stress about it. Communications with my tenants have been way more professional than when I was doing it myself lol. I used to just text my tenants which I know is not the right way to do it. Only thing I'd say is sometimes I wish they responded a little faster but honestly when they do get back to me everything is thorough and correct so I think its just they are busy and doing things right rather then rushing. Not really a complaint just something I noticed. Overall very happy. Would def recommend to other landlords in NJ especially if your portfolio is growing and you cant manage everything yourself anymore. 5 stars from me

Not living in the area, simple, clear and quick communication is the difference for us between easy breezy and a major stressor on our lives. Since they took over things have only gotten worse. Our power was turned off this morning with no warning because although we pay a utility fee the new landlord decided (without telling anyone) that he didn't want to provide that service anymore. He wants us to call ConEd to turn it back on, but then we will be charged for the utility. I would not recommend this company, they have tried to take advantage of so many tenants in our building, many who are students, and immigrants. Even though it's midday on a friday we received the off hours answering service, as of now we have received no contact from Royal Management about this mistreatment. If I could I would give this company zero stars.

They attempted to force to pay an extra rent payment. The Super they hired stole items from our secure package room and they did nothing. They had attempted to retaliate against us because of a separate matter, then attempted to kick us out by claiming we refused to sign a lease renewal when we have a well documented chain, saying we had every intention of renewing, and them saying that they would get back to us about the matter (they never did). That is always the pattern of behavior with them. Something starts out sort of benign and procedural, and then their inattentiveness/rudeness escalates it into something else. The man who services our building, Taylor Katz, is the worst person. I have dealt with in New York City real estate in my 25 years here. I haven't had one of the people who owns our building.

Legendary in our building for nonresponsiveness not only with our shareholders, but also with our management and board members. For myself, they misappropriated several thousand dollars by repeatedly refusing to file my coop-condo tax credit change form with the NYC Department of Finance, yet said year after year that they didn't know why I hadn't gotten the credit. The answer from the DOF: First Service didn't do its job. So if you want to burn wealth, hire First Service.
