The washer and dryer rates are fine- not horrible. If you're washing blankets or a larger load- unfortunately there are only 2 big washer (for $4.50 each). There is a decent amount of seating area (mainly stools). There are two charge machines to get quarters and an ATM next door at Joe's Market. Overall I think the best thing here are the FAST DRYERS- literally every time just 3 quarters or 21 minutes is enough time for a load for me, so it's a major time saver. Joe's is located on Como Ave near the U of M area so often times you'll find students there. I've seen this place both clean and messy, so I think it just depends on the time you go. There is free WiFi but it's a bit spotting (even when I'm the only one using it sometimes). There is one gender neutral restroom and a super small parking a lot in the back, otherwise just street parking in the front. Only downside is that often times we see random people who like to walked through here to use the restroom...which to me is kind of annoying but I like how I could head next door to Joe's market to grab a snack while I'm waiting and just ignore people.

The laundromat at my condo thankfully switched to the use of credit card a year ago, and I can't imagine going back to coins. The washers roared to life like caffeinated bears, and the dryers spun my clothes so fast I swear I saw them enter a new dimension. One sock tried to escape. A staff member tackled it mid-air like a laundry ninja. I named him Sock Norris. (Just kidding) but the staff is very attentive. The vending machine has snacks AND detergent, which is great because I'm the kind of person who thinks "Tide Pod" sounds like a cocktail. Also, the Wi-Fi is strong enough to stream three seasons of regret while you wait. And yes--they take digital payments. No more awkward quarter scavenger hunts or sacrificing a $20 bill to the change machine gods. I tapped my phone and boom: laundry enlightenment.
