Great food and great service! They have very fresh salads and their sauce on their pizza is delicious. I had a stomboli with pepperoni and jalapeño and it was crazy good. Not my favorite place. At first they were the new place and it was ok. I really had higher expectations being they were so big on being from Brooklyn. The calzone and meatball subs were my favorite. However the pizza is a little too soggy for me. We are a small town and we have 5 pizza places now. I'm not saying I wouldn't eat here but it's a personal choice. read more

If you order from here, stick to the pizza and calzones. The calzones are one of my favorite menu items, I am a huge fan of ricotta and this calzone is loaded up with it. Their white spinach pizza is also very good if you like a lot of garlic, which I do. It is New York style, but having grown up on Long Island, nothing will compare to what I used to be able to get. This is a nice step-up from pizza chains in Fulton and definitely worth checking out. We were sitting at the Dollar General DC hungry, waiting on our delivery so we cast a Yelp net across the area and came up with this place. Italian sounded great and they delivered so we gave them a call. The lady on the phone very patiently explained to my husband what a Stromboli was which he ended up ordering and I ordered a meatball sub with mushrooms and onions. Order came quick and the delivery guy was super friendly. My husband raved about the Stromboli but he finished it before I could snatch a bite so you'll just have to take his word on that one. My meat ball sub was a risky choice for a delivery because usually by the time it gets to you, it's not very hot, the melted cheese is a little congealed and the sauce has mainly soaked into the bread. I will admit this sort of happened but the meatballs were so yummy I didn't care. Three big ones, very moist and not grey which is my worst fear with meat balls. Very well seasoned as well. Overall nice little place to grab some Italian food if you're in the mood while on the road. It's not the best you've ever had but it's certainly satisfying! read more

When I moved to Missouri from Chicago, I thought I'd never get decent pizza again. Then a friend who works at my local grocery store told me about Brooklyn Pizza. He said it was the best pizza he's had since he left Brooklyn and he wasn't wrong. The pizza is amazing! Old world style genuine Italian pizza. Everything from the sauce to the crust is perfection. The home made Italian sausage tasted like my Sicilian grandmother's. The homey atmosphere means its family friendly. I love that they sell a variety of Italian foods as well. The own and pizza maker came out and thanked us personally for coming and seemed genuinely pleased that we were enjoying the food. Great food, nice people. Great place to stop. Small place but great food. It's not cheap but neither is the food. Nice size chef salad, pizza and Stromboli. Free refills on soft drinks. They do have alcohol as well. Parking is street parking but there is plenty of it near the restaurant. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Ordered a cheese and pepperoni well done. While I waited, 3 people came in and picked up their pizzas, as well, the delivery guys. 40 minutes later, was handed a severely undercooked pizza. We ordered a calzone, spaghetti with chicken parm, and cheese garlic bread. The cheese garlic bread was excellent!! Worth the calories for sure. I personally would have preferred less ricotta and more mozzarella in the calzone, but that is just my personal taste. Not a big ricotta fan. Nonetheless the calzone had a good flavor and the crust was crisp and tasty. Hubby said the parm was excellent paired with a good spaghetti dish. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone with a garlic tooth such as myself. On a side note: we didn't try the pizza, but they were big while looking and smelling delicious. I have eaten there a few times while in the area trying a different thing each time but honestly unimpressed I had the spaghetti with marinara the whole bottom of the dish was filled with water and the garlic bread was a warmed up hoagie. Next I tried their special spaghetti with meat sauce and it was 10.00 and was a very small portion and also swimming in water in the bottom of the dish. Sauce don't bind when its sitting in water and their Italian bread was a warmed up hoagie roll.
