I have been frequenting this haberdashery store for more than 3 decades. The quality is unmatched and so are the services by the staff members. Their headquarter office used to be in NY, and that still may be the case. Rather than posting a feedback there, which I am sure there are plenty of, I decided to put my feedback on this particular location. I needed to purchase an outfit that was appropriate in the South during climate conditions I was in; humid, muggy, and downright sweltering. The staff member was very accommodating, very courteous, and knowledgeable about men's wardrobes and protocols. But then, this is their norm rather than exception. I was very happy with my purchase. I've been wearing Brooks Brothers clothing & suits for 40 years, mostly from the Lenox Square location. Always had great service until the past 15 years or so. For the past 15 years, the staff at Lenox has changed to mear cashiers who have absolutely no social skills. They consistently NEVER acknowledge or speak to me. Ive never had a negative or positive encounter with the current staff because they're basically nonexistent. Gone are the days when Brook Brothers Lenox would greet you, ask if you need help, or come back to see us. Please replace the current staff, including the GM, and start fresh. It's a shame when employees of a company do not care about their jobs or the company they represent, and it shows. I went in with my partner, looking for linen suits and sport coats. The staff was so unhelpful, one guy asked me "uhhh like what do you mean,Ike matching pants and jacket?" (I can't make this up....) and his coworker buddy says "I don't know, let me see if someone else knows" so they found another colleague who doesn't look fresh out of undergrad and he just points to a wall and says "you can check over there". We were there for about 30 minutes, not once were we asked if we were finding everything ok, wanted to start a room, anything. Completely disregarded and we were ready to buy at least a suit, some shirts and a few ties. The store was not busy, the only other customers I saw were two women in the clearance section. I was very disappointed. I've always had a good experience at Brooks Brothers and often have purchased gifts for the men in my life there. This location was messy, and did not meet their customer experience standard. With the price point of their items, nobody should be spending their money at this location where the staff is incapable of acknowledging the customers. read more

A few years ago I had an incident at a Brooks Brothers store in Orlando Florida where an employee behaved in a racially discriminatory manner. Since that day I was done with Brooks Brothers. We were in Atlanta for a visit and my husband suggested that we give this store a try. Boy did they take the bitter taste out of my mouth. The staff was super welcoming and very attentive. I visited Brooks Brothers in November 2024 to buy a new suit for a December wedding. I was waited on by CeCe. There was a sale so I went for two suits at their discounted price. I opted for a blue suit and a gray suit. The blue suit was in stock at the store so I was fitted for alterations. The gray suit was not in stock and would be sent to my home. No problem there. I also grabbed 4 new dress shirts while I was there. I'm still not happy with the fit of the shirts. IMO the sleeves are too short but CeCe insisted that they fit like they should The gray suit arrived a week later and I returned to the store to pick up the altered suit and to get measured for alterations to the gray suit. The pants for the gray suit were so large that the staff member said the only option was to do a recut which is something that they don't do. It was also against store policy to take properly sized pants from another suit on the rack so the only option was a refund. The staff member tried to explain that their fits had changed and the blue suit was an older fit and the gray suit was a newer fit. How could CeCe not have know this when I made the purchase? The blue suit was a perfect fit and I was extremely happy with it -- that is until I got to the wedding. I'm sitting there during the ceremony and I look down and I can see my leg skin through a 1.5 inch section of un-hemmed leg seam. WTF??? Over $800 for a suit and $75 for alterations and you can't sew a leg seam properly? Now I have to go to a local seamstress and pay even more to fix the mistake made by Brooks Brothers. I am extremely disappointed and I feel taken advantage of to a small degree. I'm not sure I will ever shop at Brooks Brothers again. read more

I've been coming to the Brooks Brothers store at Lenox Square for years and have developed a very good relationship with some of the sales associates. This is one of my favorite clothing brands and I always go to Brooks Brothers when I need new clothes, whether it's work or casual. This is a conservative brand with classic styling and it looks great. The clothing is high quality and looks professional and sharp. I'm in love with their non-iron dress shirts, Golden Fleece polos, and non-iron chinos. These three things make up most of my office wardrobe. I don't like ironing and the non-iron dress shirts are like magic. After washing and drying them, the shirts come out of the dryer looking crisp and perfectly pressed. It's so convenient. Not only that, but the shirts hold this look permanently, so after a long day and/or night, they still look great. The shirts also pack well and come out of a suitcase with no wrinkles. I like the look, fit, and feel of the polos. They come in all sorts of colors and Brooks Brothers likes to do fun things with the logos sometimes. Within the past few years, Brooks Brothers refined the style of their shirts and released "Slim Fit" shirts, both in the dress shirts and polos. This was a welcome addition to skinny people like me. I had to get some of my "Original Fit" dress shirts tailored (taken in on the sides) so they weren't as baggy. Not anymore. Within the past year, they've taken the sizing one step further and introduced "Extra Slim Fit" dress shirts. I tried on one of these shirts in the store recently and these fit even better! They're slowly expanding their selection of extra slim fit dress shirts. As for the chinos, they look fantastic as well. Just like the non-iron dress shirts, the chinos are treated with some sort of chemical so the fabric is resistant to wrinkling and always looks pressed. The crease down the middle of each pant leg stays creased even after multiple washes. I've had friends and family compliment me on how my pants look. One time, someone asked me if one of my pairs of chinos was new. It wasn't. It was three years old and I'd worn them almost every week up to that point. The chinos are available in five different styles. I like the Milanos and Clarks the best. These are slim-fitting, plain-front chinos. The Clarks are more of a classic-style pants, whereas the Milanos are European-style. The Milanos have a lower rise and fit more snug. Once again, better for a short and skinny person like me. This Brooks Brothers has on-site tailoring available for an additional fee. I just had the tailors shorten some new pants and the fee was $9 per pair. This is comparable to an independent tailor. My pants were ready in about a week. The pants come from the tailor on special Brooks Brothers-brand hangers that have felt and clear elastic straps on them to prevent your pants from slipping off the hanger. It's a nice touch. I was told these hangers take up less space in the closet. The service is great. All of the sales associates are very attentive. The turnover at this store is low, so you will get to know the employees if you visit again and again. Robert is by far my favorite. He has helped me a countless number of times, especially in finding items in my hard-to-find sizes. After each checkout, the sales associate will walk around the sales counter and personally hand you your order and thank you with a handshake. I don't need all that, but it's classy. Brooks Brothers clothing is a little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and that's excellent quality. You save money if you buy more than one shirt or one pair of pants at a time. If you get on their mailing list (both regular mail and email), you'll receive several announcements of sales throughout the year. These sales are usually called "Friends & Family" events where you can save anywhere from 15% to 25% off all merchandise, both in-store and online. No coupon needed. Just go on the days of the sale. You can also check out Brooks Brothers Factory Outlets for more discounts. There's a lot of them, including one in Dawsonville at the North Georgia Premium Outlets. There are good deals at the outlets, but they rarely carry any of the slim fit shirts. read more

I went to the Lenox Brooks Bros. store after finding several dresses online that I was interested in. First, their side doors were locked on a Saturday at 11:30. Weird. I went to the front (open) and in. I spent a good bit of time looking through dresses and picked 6-7. At no time did anyone greet me, offer to help or start a room. I finally took all the dresses to the fitting room. Still there was not an employee to be seen or heard. I found a dress but rather than spend my money (avg $300 for these work dresses) where they didn't seem to care whether I was there or not, I chose to go to Bloomingdales. There I was greeted, helped by a super nice associate and found two dresses for the price of one of the BB dresses. Update: Brooks Bros. responded to my review and asked me to email them. Which I did - twice. I have received no reply. It seems their national customer service is no better than their local. read more

I placed a catalog order through a (different) store because they typically don't stock my shirt preference in store. Unfortunately, mistakes were made, and the order was basically butchered. It was too late to cancel, so I placed a second order and decided to return the wrong order in store. (The customer service I've experienced over the phone has been fantastic, but that's irrelevant.) This is my nearest Brooks Brothers, so I stopped by to make the return. The associate who handled my return was rude and condescending. It seemed like I was inconveniencing him when he suggested that I should have shipped the order back. It's possible that he just rubbed me the wrong way and I misinterpreted the situation, but the customer service should be so good that there is no room for interpretation. Part of me feels like the rating is a little harsh, and I haven't bought any big ticket items here, but I've never had a great experience at this location. Brooks Brothers is certainly conservative, but it's the kind of stodginess that appeals to someone like me who prefers style over the constantly changes ripples of fashion. Their 'no-iron' dress shirts are a delight, though they certainly do require a touch-up with the heated metal before one steps out in them. I was moved to review this particular Brooks Brothers in Lenox Squre Mall because of the service I received last weekend. I was there to get a new black suit (a 3-button job) for my upcoming wedding, and Sheri took excellent care of me and Karen. She explained what I needed to know to make the best selection, got me quickly fitted, and kept it all simple and friendly. Topping it all off was that the "Friends and Family" sale was on at the time, so I got 30% off the suit. This was extra-sweet because I needed the suit, sale or no, meaning this was 'found money' for me. When I got home, I looked through my closet and realized I could use some more dress shirts, so I called Sheri back on Monday morning, The F&F sale was still on, so I picked up six of the aforementioned button-downs for only $280. She took my size and color preferences on the phone and had them rung up and bagged so that I quite literally could walk in and pick them up and leave. That is service, and that gets you five stars. read more

I think they must have done something to address the prior customer service issues. I had an excellent experience today bringing in some suits for alterations that I purchased at the Brooks Brothers Outlet. The salesperson Justin was very prompt and took me right back to the tailor. I was worried that it was maybe poor etiquette to bring outlet items to the regular store and felt a little awkward about it, but they made me feel totally welcome. Justin was talking about what great deals they have at the outlet. The price for the alterations was way lower than expected too. The tailor Fatuma was a very nice lady and offered some great advice for finding a good fit. I will definitely be back here for my tailoring needs. read more

Edit #2 - The threads at the sleeves by the armpits have started unraveling already. I always store my suit in the Brooks Brothers suit sleeve, hang it up on a nice hangar, and I only wear it once a month. For $1,500, this is nothing but disappointing. Let me caveat this 2 star review with a contrasting detail - the suit they made for me is phenomenal, high quality, and fits perfectly. Tl;dr - great product, disappointing customer service and attention to detail for what you spend. Right, on to crappiness. I decided I wanted a custom suit, and after too much research decided on Brooks Brothers. I went to their location at Lenox Mall in Atlanta, GA. You have to wait a bit for someone to come help you, but the man who did (Tom Street) was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had decided to purchase one of their Made to Measure suits, as they had a sale going on at that time. One detail I requested specifically was a label they advertised as having put in their made to measure suits that reads "Brooks Brothers for ((your name))". It gets placed on the opposite side of the jacket as the label that reads "Custom Tailored". To me, and this being my first nice and higher end suit, it was a great detail that added an additional personal touch. Tom assured me this was an option I could receive, and put this request on the information sheet itself. When the suit first arrived to be tried on before final tailoring, I noticed the label was not in the jacket. I pointed this out to Tom, and he assured me it would be in the final suit. He even showed me the ticket with the suit where the request for the custom label was written. When the final suit came in, the label was still absent. I pointed this out to the associate at the store (Tom was out this day) and he told me he would inform Tom who would call me. I never received a call, so when I called in Tom apologized and said he hadn't heard about this from his colleague. I have since called back twice, and each time Tom's said he'll check on it, and taken my phone number. I know this is only a detail, but for a $1,500 custom suit I expected better follow up service to an aspect that I made clear early on was important to me. read more

Well, my experience with this particular BB store was mixed. The salesmen and saleswomen were generally polite and helpful, as long as it was not their big-sale season. What I was very unimpressed with was the in-store tailoring service. Since this store does not carry the particular suit with my size, I had to order it online and take the suit to the store for alterations. I explained my alteration requests to one particular in-store tailor (bald, with beard). Most of my requests were fairly reasonable and necessary to make the suit fit correctly. However, the tailor (who was serving another customer who bought a suit in their store) rejected all of my requests except the most basic ones (hemming the pants and shorten the sleeve length). I think it may be due to the fact that I ordered the suit online so that the credit will not go to their store. BB, thanks to your horrible in-store tailoring service, I will have to think twice before I order another tailored clothing on your website. read more

The customer service at this particular location is horrendous. The managers do not care about customer service, and are rude and condescending to those trying to make and exchange or return. In fact, I had a manager tell me that she would not be helping me and if I had a problem to call the 1-800 customer service number. If you must shop at Brooks Brothers, please go to the Perimeter location. The manager there actually knows the value of customer service and how to communicate store policies in a professional and polite manner. read more

I recently spent close to 2 thousand dollars there and was treated shabbily every time I went there despite the fact that they screwed up my order. Yet another reviewer who loves the clothes but finds the customer service seriously lacking at this location. Two occasions in particular stand out to me as very telling of their priorities. The first one happened about 2 years ago, when my husband was looking for a suit. Not knowing his exact sizing or the style that fit him best, we welcomed the offer from an employee to assist us. This certain employee, who I won't name because I doubt anything productive can come from it, emphatically suggested my husband get a slimmer cut of suit (he's pretty tall and thin, so I completely agreed). However, when the store had none of the slim fit suits in stock in the pattern he liked, the employee all of a sudden began pushing the more classic, boxier silhouette, saying the cut mattered very little and in fact his in-store tailor could make it fit perfectly (red flag!). Because this employee was so emphatic and pushy, my husband took his "expert" advice and bought the classic fit suit, as well paying for in-store alterations. Fast forward a few weeks, and he goes to pick up the suit-- not surprisingly, he looked like the Michelin man (his words, not mine) and needed additional alterations. This SAME employee told him it would cost more to have further tailoring done, and not knowing the rules that a tailor is paid once for a single item to fit, my husband paid again. When he went to finally get his suit after the second alteration was made, he still felt like the shoulders were much too wide-- and again, this same employee told him there was nothing else that could be done, as there is only so much you can do to the shape of the suit. After spending $1,200 on a B-grade suit, I vowed never to go back. Except! Brooks Brothers unfortunately makes slim fit dress shirts that fit my husband really, really well. So for his birthday this year, I went to pick him out 3 new dress shirts for work (so adult). I rifled through probably 5 separate stacks of 20 different shirts searching for his sizing, when a female employee, who saw me searching in vain for a specific size, completely ignored me in favor of some pretentious looking man and his son (they had a grand old time discussing finance internships in Tokyo, thank goodness). This woman spent the better part of half an hour talking to them, assuming they were going to earn her a much higher commission than I could. And guess what?! They left without buying anything- ha!! Meanwhile some nice young man saw me, immediately came to help, and I left no more than 5 minutes later. Sorry Brooks Brothers, but this time I definitely won't be back. I understand I look young, and I probably can't earn you the biggest commission of your career, but you should stop judging people based on their buying potential and treat them like possible life-long customers. read more

Went in to get my suite coat loosened and was told by the alteration guy Tom in my professional opinion i think it fits fine . As i told Tom I don't care for the fit and would like it loosened and once again was told in my professional opinion it looks good at which point i left the store . Their no iron dress shirts came out of the wash looking horrible. I tried everything, air drying, light dryer, etc. Still looked horrible, not professional and crisp. Dry cleaned the shirts, had them professionally laundered. Still looked like something from Walmart. When I went into the store to point this out, the manager said I should iron the shirts. What?????? Iron a no-iron shirt. I don't iron. Ever. A customer who walks into Brooks Brothers is successful enough not to believe that #$#^%^ totally insulting. I''ve bought great suits and sweaters there, but I'm going online when possible and not being talked to like I'm an idiot. I have had 3 very poor service experiences here in the last month....went in looking for a specific Men's summer sandal advertised in their in-store circular and they were out-of-stock each time. Furthermore, they seemed to have little concern about this and made no real effort to tell me when they might be in again, if they would be in again, or where else I could possibly find them. Service here seem's to be slow and rather inattentive (with the exception of the very nice madam at the front register)--everyone seem's to be on a permanent mental vacation...kind of a long, blank stare like they are not even mentally "there." Expected much more out of Brooks Brothers. Not sure that I will ever bother to return. read more

I went to the store the day after the Christmas sale. I asked the manager in the Women's Dept. if they had a skirt that I found on the rack in my size. She said no and that the skirt was completely sold out on line and in the store. I went into the fitting room and looked on my i-phone and there were many other sizes available on line. I went to the other customer service in the men's department and was assisted by Sasha. Sasha is wonderful. She looked on line and found me the skirt in the size I wanted and ordered it for me. Not only that, but she told me that there were multiple sizes remaining in the store and even went into the back and searched for me. Sasha should be managing the women's department of this store. She is delightful, sweet, helpful, and understands how to treat a customer. read more

Just want to say that over the last year or so I have switched out my entire business wardrobe from Joseph A to Brooks Brothers. 2 suits, 10 pairs of trousers, 16 shirts, socks, i.e. the whole enchilada. My experience was fantastic. I am pretty OCD with my clothing and I can't tell you how many times I went back to get the tailoring adjusted and each time they treated me like a king. There are still a few places out there that act like they appreciate your business and this is certainly one of them. Mary, the store manager, is an absolute sweetheart. I had an issue with the vent on one of my suits and she was determined to work with me until I was completely satisfied. The associates for the most part are excellent. I have dealt with most of them by this point in the game. I will say there may have been one or two that were sub-par but from what I have noticed Brooks doesn't keep them around for very long. read more

If you want customer service..or in fact any concern for the customer ...DO NOT shop at the Brooks Brothers in Lenox Square in Atlanta. My husband recently purchased four pairs of pants and a jacket. The salesperson convinced him that altering the pants would take care of any fitting issues. Not only was this not true, while wearing one pair of pants the seam in the seat of the pants came apart....AFTER ONE wearing. When he returned the pants to have them repaired, the salesperson was not only rude but insulting. He was only concerned that the pants had been WORN (the REASON they were purchased like most items!) and that their alterations person would not address THEIR MISTAKE until they were cleaned. Instead of apologizing or having the least bit of concern for the problem (their mistake and the unwearable pair of new pants)..he was very insulting about the fact that they had been worn. I called to speak to a manager..named Mary ...who was still more concerned about the fact that they had been WORN (WHO WEARS items they purchase???) and finally after I pointed out the poorest customer service provided at her store..we got a VERY insincere apology that they had come apart..but not concern or offer to alleviate the situation. WE will not shop there ever again, will make sure everyone we know is aware of this incident and HOPE you will read this review and not waste a penny of your money there either. read more
