It was about that time in my husband's life when he needed to have not just the professional look,…read morebut a sleek and stunning professional look. Always wanted to go to the Men's Wearhouse to see what they had to fit his personality and style; and I can truly say, our visit to the store that day met every expectation we had and the level of service was beyond excellent. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and on point. I'm a control freak, and when our client rep introduced us to the store manager, Simone Pirre, she greeted us with warmth and once she started talking, we knew we were in for a great experience, and for the first time in over 9 years of marriage, I made another woman choose my husband's clothes and I didn't make any changes or adjustments. This lady is qualified and knows fashion, trends, body shape, what works for you personally. She's patient and we felt comfortable, and well taken care of. The discounts are great too. If you want to look, fashionable, suave, well dressed, professionally styled, id recommend this store. Its my first time and I'm blown away. Money well spent!! Ps. Hubby's clothes look amazing on him!!! I must have told him more than 10 times this morning :) #happycustomer! Pictures to folllow

I was measured and fitted for a tuxedo at Men's Warehouse in Danbury CT on March 30th and was…read morescheduled to pick it up on May 27th. I arrived at the Danbury store at approximately 5:00 p.m. on May 27 to pick up my tuxedo, only to be told that it had not arrived. Since I was leaving town at noon the following day, May 28, for my son's wedding, I called the store again that morning. They still did not have it. I asked if they could ship it overnight directly to the hotel where the wedding was being held, and they agreed. On May 29, I checked with the hotel's front desk at approximately 5:00 p.m. They had not yet received the package but told me they would contact me when it arrived. While waiting, I received a text message from the Danbury store stating that my tuxedo was ready for pickup. Naturally, I was confused. I immediately called the store to verify the message, and they confirmed that my tuxedo was indeed at the store and available for pickup. At that point, I had one obvious question: If my tuxedo was sitting in the Danbury store on May 29, what exactly had they shipped to me on May 28? The package eventually arrived at the hotel sometime after 5:00 p.m. on May 29. However, because of pre-wedding events and the rehearsal dinner that evening, I was unable to pick it up until the morning of May 30--the day of the wedding. When I opened the package, obviously it was not the tuxedo I had originally ordered. In fact, it wasn't even close to fitting me. Once I learned on May 29 that my actual tuxedo was still sitting in the Danbury store, I immediately called and asked that it be shipped overnight to another address where I could receive it before the wedding. I was assured that it would arrive between 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. on May 30. It did not. The tuxedo arrived later that afternoon, well after the wedding photographs had been taken and after the wedding ceremony began. In the end, I was left with two tuxedos that I could not wear and had to return. I eventually spoke with management and received a refund. They attributed the problems to FedEx/ shipping. Well, if Fed ex is the problem, can't you send it out just one day earlier?? But honestly, this all misses the point. This wasn't just another tuxedo rental. It was my son's wedding day!! Imagine arriving for a wedding or other milestone event and discovering that the attire you ordered months in advance isn't there. Imagine being told it was shipped, only to learn it was actually sitting back at the store. Then imagine finally receiving a package and finding that it isn't even your order and doesn't come close to fitting. Finally, imagine being promised that the correct item will arrive before the event, only to have it show up after the photos have been taken and the ceremony has begun. No refund can give those moments back. I'm sharing this experience not simply to complain, but to help prevent someone else from finding themselves in the same situation. When you're trusting a company with attire for a wedding, graduation, or other once-in-a-lifetime event, reliability isn't optional--it's the entire service being purchased. Unfortunately, that reliability was completely absent in my experience.

My four friends and I drove over an hour away to Danbury to check out Primark. I have never been…read morehere before, this is the only location in Connecticut. Primark is an Irish retailer of affordable fashion for men, women and children. Other locations also carry home items, but not the Danbury location. They are very popular across the British Isles as well as several countries across Europe. The Primark in Danbury is part of the Danbury Fair Mall, the good news is you can access it as its own store, no need to go through the mall. This store is massive, there were so many shoes when we first walked in. There's hair accessories, purses and other small knickknacks. The clothes aren't super organized. The hangers are marked with various sizes, but they are actually all random sizes hung on random hangers. This was everywhere, same with the shoes. I am a bit selective when it comes to clothes shopping, I prefer my items to be mostly cotton. Cotton items were difficult to find or non existent at Primark. We spent two hours here and all I found were two items. Keeping in mind that they are a fast fashion retailer, the quality isn't always there. Loose strings, uneven stitching, unavailable sizes are all a part of the gamble. The wait to access a fitting room was surprisingly fast and efficient. The line to check out was long but moved fast, due to several open registers. I'm glad I experienced Primark, while they aren't for me, they might be for you. Marshalls, Target and Amazon are more accessible for me.

I've shopped here many times and the clothes lasts. The store is always busy but still kept in order. The lines can be long but move pretty quickly. This is one of my go to stores.

I was so excited to finally find a nice store in the Danbury Mall. Could not help myself feel so…read morehappy to see those brands that I missed from the good old Annie Sez, and Lord and Taylor. But my emotions were soon going to be crushed as I navigated through the store. As I got to the middle of the store 2 girls young were just chatting. Obviously I was not even acknowledged or greeted. Soon after the African American employee said "she is not even going to spend $100". At that point I was hopping they were talking about someone else...I looked up and as they noticed they moved towards the front of the store. I kept looking and found a few pieces but was already uncomfortable after all I'm not the regular size small, white, blond hair customer. I'm the opposite size xl, Hispanic, jeans, bickenstock sandals, crazy hair. At least that is what I look like on my days off. Took an other lap around the store as I found the guts to just shop and not pay attention to the young girls after all....what do they know? As I was just holding 2 pieces one of the girls came up and said: Can I put that in the fitting room? To what I answer no thank you. She then just walked away. Soon after an older associate asked the same question when "I said no thank you" she then said "let me put it at the register" to what agreed to. I continued browsing towards the front of the store and as I was moving I over, I heard the 3 girls talk about a top but didn't put any mind into it. Just kept moving. Once at the front on the left side of the store all 3 girls were now across from me. The one that had asked me if she can put the things in the fitting came over to tell the other girl how I had said yes to the other employee that took my things to the register. At that point all 3 looked straight at me and as they did I asked them if I could help them. The African American girl laugh and said what? you can't help us? No.... I then turn around went to the register any paid. The woman at the register was helpful and tried to apease me. But at this point I was too mad, too angry, too disappointed at the fact that I had been stereotyped. I had been watched and I had been racially stereotyped. As I'm trying to pay one of them realices what is going on and comes to the counter and says "excuse me I just wanted to let you know we were not talking about you...we were looking for a top". To what I responded with "you know that is not true". But I accept your apology...since there was none. she thought it was a good idea to just come up and lie. Why not just leave it alone.
