I usually wear large to extra large in shirts so i ordered them in XXL to be sure; when they arrived and I tried them on, however, they are in reality slightly smaller even than a large in a standard men's shirt. I like them so much I'm keeping them, however. I don't know if this sizing standard applies to any of their other men's tops. I tend to think not, as I have noted wonky sizing in Indian madras shirts from another retailer and I suspect it is due to to the manufacturers in India having different standards than US. I also have a pair of their madras board shorts, and I'd say it fits true to size. Having said all this, Kiel James Patrick is extremely generous and lightning-fast in making exchanges, as long as clothing is unworn, unwashed, and with all tags remaining on the garment and received writhin the deadline. Some people consider this brand to be very expensive; I find them to cost less than some competitors, however, which is very pleasing and figured in my buying decision. I just gotta close with a shout-out to their packaging: The elaborate box and inside wrapping will blow you away and ensures your product arrives without wrinkles or any sort of damage from shipping.

The store was really organized and it was easy to find what I was looking for. I snagged some super soft AE jeggings for $16 and they were at least $40 retail. There were Anthropologie jeans going for $28. I also checked out some cute bralettes and sports bras, but they didn't fit right unfortunately. Other things they carried: sportswear (leggings, tops), sweaters, swimsuits, dresses, shorts, jewelry-- basically anything you'd find in a regular clothing store, but at a discount! There were also some cute Newport longsleeves/hoodies in the back. Selection is limited, but that's just the nature of the store-- it depends on what they get from the warehouse. It feels like a treasure hunt. I love this place already and can't wait to see what I find next!

This awesome little shop is located right on the craziest tourist drag in town, Thames Street, but don't let that deter you from coming in for some rad beachwear finds! They have a great selection of men's and women's swimsuits and apparel, as well as accessories for the surfer (or wannabe surfer) in all of us. I was very impressed with the sale section, as well. My boyfriend got a really cool multicolored pair of swim trunks for only like 20 bucks marked down from 45 bucks. Not a bad deal! The selection is much smaller than Island Surf & Skate, but you can't beat the easy walking access as it is part of a section of town with lots of shops and attractions. Ellis, the employee that was working, provided excellent customer service, and was knowledgeable, pleasant, and all around made the experience of shopping at Breakwater Surf very much worthy of a 5 star review!
