I had seen shirts before but didn't know the whole history. It's worth reading about it on their website at the black dog.com - they do a lot of philanthropic collabs also for animals. The shirt he bought me was a collab design. The proceeds of the sales would go to animal shelters. When he bought the shirt, the girl behind the counter said that the sets had just come into stock and were brand new. I love the fabric material and wear it when walking outside or at the gym. The Black Dog store on Thames Street is a cool place to stop if you're walking around Newport…read more Parking is street parking, so good luck. Inside, they have all kinds of Black Dog gear for men and women. Shirts, hats, sweatshirts, collars and leashes for your pup and plenty of other stuff. The staff was friendly. I recommend the white custom Newport long-sleeve shirt. It looks great, feels like a real souvenir, and is something I will actually wear instead of throwing into a drawer with old vacation magnets. It is a unique store and definitely not your everyday shopping stop. Have fun and leave with a little piece of Newport.
