Surprised to learn that Kenneth Cole, a longtime supporter of community issues, had taken on mental health as a cause to bring to the forefront through his fashion lines. By reaching out to advocacy groups, business leaders as well as celebrities to share their own stories, he hoped to decrease the stigma surrounding mental health that was compounded by the stresses of the past few years. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 1 in 4 people worldwide live with a mental health condition. Unfortunately, the majority, two-thirds, either don't seek help due to the stigma associated with mental illnesses or lack of access to care. By raising awareness and opening up conversations, hopefully the struggles faced won't be alone. The campaign that he launched is called 121. "Every 1 needs to talk 2 some 1." Product arrived defective (the text on the front of t-shirt was so light that I thought it was blank originally). I notified Kenneth Cole about the defect, and all they offered was a refund. However, their refund is only on the price of the product, not the $13 shipping...and they charge another $10 for the return label. So I'm out $23 for a defective product that they clearly provide no quality control over. Profiting off your customers with your defective products makes scam sites look legit.

Upon receipt of the damaged item, I immediately contacted ATICA via email, sent plenty of requested photos, and to my astonishment, was advised by customer service to file a claim directly with UPS! Now, I didn't select UPS as the shipper, and I don't consider it my responsibility, and I have never, ever had a vendor suggest that I file a claim for a damaged item where I am the recipient; but, having a UPS account, I filed a claim. Now, UPS has completed the investigation, and being that I am the recipient, referred me back to ATICA, where I am being ignored. I posted a brief, factual review on ATICA's FaceBook page, which they immediately and most dishonestly deleted. Spent quite a chunk of change, got burned for a lousy $56, don't bother with these thieves.

Instead of offering to order me a size that fit me properly, I was persuaded to purchase a size up that did not fit correctly and was recommended to get it altered, which I now regret. I was told by the sales representative that I would receive store credit if I decided to bring the item back. This was one of the main reasons I decided to purchase the item. Unfortunately the tailor was not able to adjust the item to fit my size. When I brought the item back to the store with the tags and receipt, the owner immediately accused me of wearing the item and deceitfully reattaching the tags. The store owner continued to berate me and spoke to me in an extremely condescending manner, then told me that I was not "thinking logically" in my attempt to return an item that did not fit me. She insisted that I was not taking into consideration how her business was going to be impacted if she were to let me give back the item and provide me with store credit, which should be of no concern to the customer rightfully returning a purchased item. The most hurtful part of this incident occurred when the store owner spewed lies at me: she stated that there are signs all over the store explaining that items cannot be brought back after 2 weeks. However, when I requested that she point to one of these signs, she was unable to, as they did not exist. The store owner's actions made it exceptionally clear to me that her only concern is running a business, that she has no consideration for her customers, and no care for their satisfaction with her products. The owner gave me no rational reason why she couldn't take back the item, she did not offer store credit, or even a kind word. I enjoy shopping but I would never go back here after the way I was treated. I hope my experience isn't indicative of how the owner treats other customers.
