I was helping a young women retrieve her vehicle after it had been towed. I simply asked the gentleman at the counter why they were charging her so much ($450.00) for a tow from a parking lot and less than a 24 stay at their lot. He was extremely rude and dismissive of me. Even after I told him I knew it was way more than other companies charged for the same service. I would have given Brooks zero stars had that been an option. These guys are predatory. Don't use Brooks if you have any other choice. read more

They come up with a bull crap excuse to tow your ride to there 3 acre lot off of 28th st out of Springfield jurisdiction where after 30 days of being on there lot a new title is acquired with there name on it ! I have always, ALWAYS only called these guys for a tow. Have never had a bad experience or anything of the sort. They were professional,fast and affordable... Until yesterday. My brother waited for them to tow his vehicle, for over 3.5 hours. He appreciates the discount, but VERY disappointed in the wait time. Very rude. Unreliable. Terrible customer service. Poor communication. Has no respect for others time. Scheduled a pickup 3 times, didn't even show up or call 2 times. The 3rd time they left us waiting for 6 hours, told us they'd be there in a hour, 90mins later we call and the guy rudely tells us he doesn't want the car. He spoke to me like I was stupid because I'm a woman and then accused my husband of being aggressive when I put him on the phone. The most horrendous service I've ever received. I contacted this company to pick up my BMW I sold and have it delivered to the buyer. They were very professional, arrived on time, and had no problems getting my car on a flatbed. Plus they kept me up to date on the eta through text message so I wasn't sitting around waiting which was great. I would definitely use their service again if needed. read more

Be careful, they have been rude with my children. They are bullying them and making threats, they have treated many very unprofessional. My kids have gone through hell because of there unprofessional bologna. A family full of mechanics, they say we know nothing. Engine replaced its now overheated several times and lost all the water, this was supposed be warranty repair. Was double charged. $240 tow for a 10 minute ride. Told them I'd pay with card but ended up paying the original 120 cash... for a 10 minute ride. Then was called twice to collect payment and then harassed saying they'd called me multiple times all day so I was told my car was going to be towed for $300 and 10 cents a minute if I didn't pay the "120 I owed them" even though I had paid it the night I got towed. Owner wouldn't listen to me and I was laughed at. I was just told no. So I was forced to pay the $120 again because he didn't believe me. Will file a civil suit or something but they can't be trusted or expected to listen to you in cash transactions. very unhappy and feel very VERY cheated. We were merging from Delta onto 126 in front of a tow truck. This guy proceeded to speed up and try to pass us almost running into the truck in front of him and causing Matt to slow rapidly to avoid a collision. He continued to tailgate the car in front of him to try and get around us. This continued until he took the 42nd street exit. Matt and I are extremely shook up. Upon calling Brooks towing.. Dustin the owner said that he was already talking with the driver and was watching live footage and proceeded to tell us that the driver was never within 5 feet of our vehicle and that his lights were on and his actions were completely safe. I told him the truck was right next to us and that no lights were on. At this point the call ended. Upon calling back I asked Dustin to listen to what I had to say as we could have easily been killed. He said he had to support his driver and that he was watching the live footage as he himself was also driving???? This is incredibly concerning behavior for any business or driver. Not to mention the lack of concern from the management /owner of other vehicles on the road. read more

Called them one morning to have them come pick up my car because I need it gone. Gave me an offer and they were supposed to pick it up next day. Called next day spoke with a different person who said he'd be right over to pick it up and then 2 and a half hours later still no show so I called back said he'd get to the bottom of it and 40 minutes goes by nothing. Then I called one more time he said figuratively eff you and hung up on me. He was too busy for a customer the company had already made a deal with. There are better companies out there. Called another place after I got off the phone with him and they said they'd be right over. These guys suck. read more

Called Brooks towing and off road recovery after my son's accident. Truck was onsite in less then a half HR. Accident happened in veneta and they are based in Springfield. They didn't over charge me and customer service was a great experience.. I would recommend this towing company any day of the week. The owner is compassionate and professional. read more
