I pressed it 3 times and I waited a length of time between, as not to be rude. Finally an associate came to the front, in no hurry and I kid you not, ROLLED HER EYES at me. I get that everyone is human. I never complained and continued to support this pharmacy. However, after today I am done. I need a specific medication for migraines that is taken monthly. I sent my refill in on the app like I always do. I went to pick it up and after waiting about 15 minutes they tell me I need a PA. I asked the tech, confused, "Since when?" She responded very rudely with, "Since now. You'll have to call your doctor tomorrow." I informed her that I never needed a PA before and it just seemed odd that I do now. I called my insurance and they fixed the issue right away. I go back in and they are already working on it, which is great. Then they tell me my coupon for my co-pay (which is $200) isn't working. I download a new one, activate it, and give them that. Still apparently isn't working. At this point I've been waiting inside the pharmacy for an hour and a half and they are technically closed. I'm now being told (by the same rude tech) that I'll have to try again tomorrow because... wait for it... THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE IT IN STOCK. I would love to know why I wasn't informed of this from the start. Instead of being with my kids after working all day, I sat in a pharmacy for over an hour and a half for no reason. I'm officially done with Abeldt's and will be moving all mine and my family's prescriptions to Lufkin Pharmacy first thing in the morning. Editing to add: Spoke with Erika, a manager this morning. Walgreens ran out of a very common medication which I needed for surgery (happening that same…read moreafternoon). They told me they could transfer the prescription to another Walgreens, I would just need to contact them and make sure they had the medication in stock. I went to the Leesville Walgreens and they told me they would not allow the prescription to be transferred. They said my Doctor needs to send the prescription directly to them, it can not be transferred from another Pharmacy (Even if it is another Walgreens). I told them that the Alexandria Walgreens said it could be transferred, their Pharmacist just needed to speak directly with Alexandria's Pharmacist. The girl helping me was being polite and so I told her what Walgreens had told me to do and it was for my surgery that was happening that afternoon. A Pharmacy Tech came from behind the wall with her voiced raised telling me it's the law..... They can't transfer prescription from one Pharmacy to the next! After she finished her rant, I said "I am not sure why you are speaking to me like this. I am not arguing with anyone I was explaining to the Tech what the other Walgreens had told me. She said "Oh, I thought you were arguing!" She walked away and the lady helping me just shook her head as the girl walked away. I then said to the Tech, " I promise I wasn't trying to argue, I was just trying to let you know what was told to me. She said "I know you weren't arguing, it's ok!" I called my Doctor's office and let them know what was going on. My Doctor was in Surgeries that day so his office was scrambling trying to get as hold of him to get another prescription sent to Leesville Walgreens so I could have my procedure done in a few hours.

They refused to fill one of my prescriptions bc it is a controlled substance, even though they had…read morefilled it before at least a half dozen times!! The pharmacist (Artin) was very rude to me and treated me like I am a dopehead bc I needed my medication! The reason for not filling it was that my doctor is a Telehealth doctor and he acted like he's basically not a real doctor!! He said they have a policy that if the doctor is not within a one hour radius of the pharmacy that they do not fill prescriptions from doctors outside of that radius. I had four other prescriptions from the same doctor and they were willing to fill those four but not my medication to keep me from having seizures. I honestly felt like he was lying to me because of the fact that he was willing to fill the other prescriptions just not this one! Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service and I will NEVER use them again!!! I am also going to report this to whatever agency is over pharmacies in the state of Texas because this is complete discrimination! I highly advise not to use this pharmacy!
