As a new Farmersville resident, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate having a Brookshire's nearby. We may not have a ton of grocery options out here, so it's really nice having a store that feels clean, fresh, and genuinely welcoming. Everything was stocked and fresh :) Big shoutout to Janet at checkout... patience of a saint. She helped me work through some coupon issues while also juggling helping several other customers at the same time. You can tell she really cares, and it did not go unnoticed. Thanks for letting me know about the blueberry coupon!! Also, Kevin in seafood was awesome. Just friendly, smiling, and helpful. Honestly, everybody in the store seemed happy, which makes a difference these days. And whoever was in charge of the music deserves a raise because hearing Janet Jackson's "Miss You Much" while shopping in the bread aisle really made my day. I am writing about the Walgreens inside of Brookshires Farmersville. They do not answer the pharmacy phone. They seem to be understaffed. No drive thru. Wait inside in line today was 30 mins. To me this place has no understanding of how to treat customers. I have called management and they say they are making changes. I believe it's been about year for the wheels of progress to turn.....a year and not a complete revolution. read more

It's ok. Like the company itself is awesome! Just this store in particular! There have been countless times that I've been disrespected by the Deli manager. I went to get some slices of meat and she gave me an attitude and told me to just buy what was already out. But I needed a specific cut. Sometimes she won't even bother to help. She has a way of making me feel belittled and I don't think that is professional. So if you're going for meat cuts, make sure anyone but her is attending you. read more

I will never shop at this store again. A girl followed us around as if we were stealing. Every thing we looked at she was two feet away pretending to stock stuff. It was our first time to this store since we just moved to Texas. I got so upset I confronted her. To top it off the cashier was rude to my husband and threw money at the counter instead of handing it to him. I don't care if I have to drive a extra 20 plus minutes to a different store. in the past this store was great place to shop and the pharmacy was managed poorly . over the past few years I have watched its customer service degrade under its current leadership . The previous manage would stop and say hi , take your cart out , handle any service issue , you could see it in the employees . this new manager never smiles , pays no attention to her customers , avoids eye contact and it shows in her team members attitude . and since the pharmacy has changed to walgreens you can forget any cross interaction between store and pharmacy . I am still shopping several times a week but I buy less and less and drive farther to places like Trader Joe's and Walmart . Sadly I will soon just quit shopping at my own home town store and I doubt anyone cares enough to make any changes or pick up a phone read more

Well managed store! Mr Dunn, the store manager responds to requests for products. In the past month he has brought back BACKERS potato chips and is looking into adding Vella Delicious RED wine for us. We expect as much from a grocery store that charges full service prices. This Brookshire's keeps their shelves stocked and always has at least 2 registers manned. Mr. Dunn, the store manager is always on the floor doing something to make things run smoothly. I have seen him man a broom when cleanup was needed. He is an asset. The other star in this store is BILLY. Billy has been in the grocery business for a very long time. He is the first go-to when trying to find an item. If it isn't in stock he tracks down Mr. Dunn to get it resolved. Billy always has a smile and time to help you. Brookshires is going back to USA sources for their products. Their store brand long asparagus is delicious, unlike the from Peru stuff under the Green Giant and LeSeur brands, which are bitter. A lot of the produce in this store is of USA origin. You cannot control quality when you outsource offshore! You pay more at this store than some of it's competitors. The excellent customer service balances the cost. Feel much better about this store since I last reviewed it in 2017. Kudos for Mr. Dunn and Billy for making our shopping experience better. read more

We are here about twice a week and have had no issues with people being rude or not getting help when we need it. Staff is kind and respectful and move as quick as possible to get us checked out. Prices are fine, wish they would have more items on sale, but prices are not crazy. I have not used the pharmacy so I have no clue how that staff performs. They also have reasonable if not one of the lowest gas prices in the area, so its a nice benefit when you are picking up food and I also get it cheaper with my shopping-points. read more

I do not always use Brookshire's for my shopping, however, I just live down the road from them and do go there about once every two or three weeks. So I can compare them to other groceries, and I find Brookshire's to be as well-stocked as any grocery near them. In fact I was at another grocery yesterday and I am going to Brookshires today because they usually have a better stock of several items that I want and the other larger groceries in our area did not have on their shelves. So to those of you that are complaining, go find another grocery and shut up, it's not like you don't have a choice! For a smaller grocery, I find them to be VERY, Very good. They always carry out your groceries, which most stores do not do, and the manager is always around to make sure that everything is running smooth. read more

Unbelievably slow. I live here in Anna with a family of five. I taken many scripts to Brookshire's pharmacy and I have never had timely service. They say they'll call in an hour and don't ..... don't call at all. I sat in a chair, outside the window for 49 minutes to get a flu shot. I was the only customer present. I left without the shot and they called me at home. It's just pathetic. read more

This is the first Big Box grocery store in Farmersville. I can't say it is an improvement. We had a Feagans store for years that had equal or better prices. We miss it. Brookshires is at the bottom of the heap for grocery stores. Their prices are about 20% higher than Walmart. They do not have the selection of the Kroger store in McKinney. Checkout is slow for a large store with few customers. I am annoyed when they ask if I have a Brookshire's card. It is really insulting when they try to tell me that I have saved money by shopping there. The carry out service is more bother than help. We already have a Walmart 10 minutes down the road in Princeton. What Farmersville needs is an HEB. They are the king of the big box Grocers. read more

Pharmacy in this location is a 1 star because of the pharmacist that was on staff date of 12-20-19 at around 5:45. As I verified at the counter that they did take the good rx benefits. The pharmacist went ahead and completed my prescription (which I waited for about an hour for) with her knowing I was there waiting, just for her to tell me they would not be honoring the good rx price because the profit margins this year because of good rx have been extremely low. She denied to give me the medication for that price and told me if I wanted the prescription that I would have to pay full price for it. read more

I would absolutely rate this location a 4 or a 5 if it were just on the service (the people here are great) and the convenience of having a grocery store that is in the opposite direction of traffic for me. The problem is that as much as Brookshire's tries to be Kroger (same gas perk program, same coupons and very similar promotions and style) they are still more reminiscent of a convenience store or drug store when it comes to pricing. I really have to be going past here and need something in a pinch or know for a fact that something is on sale to even bother going in. read more

I went to this store today(because it's closest to home and on the way) and got in and out quickly. Hannah rang me up and she was friendly and started good conversation. Then when I was leaving, the store manager(Mike Dunn) was walking in. As I exited the store he caught my eye he waved first, and then thanked me, and his thanks atleast appears so genuine that I was happy to have gone there. This is a small to medium grocery store. I would say that it is needed in Farmersville. The prices are a little high, but if you need something or do not want to make a drive then it is perfect. The pharmacy does seem to have their stuff together. Had better luck with them then with CVS in Greenville. There is a gas station that has quite a few pumps. The price of fuel is about the same as in Farmerville, maybe a penny cheaper per gallon. read more

I don't normally have a bad experience but today I was yelled at by the gas station attendant?!?!!! The cash was not "properly placed" under her rock and she had to get off her chair to get it..... I received a tongue lashing as to why they have it and had to wait for her to turn on the gas pump. Not sure what to think about paying for getting yelled at and not sure about a return trip. read more

Any small town needs a large grocery store that offers a wide range of items so one does not have to drive into a larger city. This Brookshire is located outside of Farmersville on the road to McKinney. It is a large modern gocery store offerimg a variety ot items normally found in large city stores. Plenty of free parking on their lot. read more

Sorry I had to even give this place one star. Management is very rude. Buyer beware on sales. They seriously price gouge. I shopped this store yesterday on 3/7. Prices were not as I thought they should be and they refused to let me use my manufacturers coupons correctly because they were running a sale. Sure enough I went to Walmart this morning and took pictures of some of the sale items that Brookshire's had on sale. Walmart was or was almost half the price on all of those items. So folks sorry you are not buying one item and getting one for a penny you are just simply buying one item at a gouged price and getting on for a penny. You can go to Walmart and purchase two of these items normally and walk out for virtually the same price or cheaper. I will never shop this store again and for anyone reading this I hope you heed my warning a choose to do the same. read more
