Brought my granddaughters. The nachos were amazing. The store had lots of great produce. The people were super friendly. They took time to explain everything since this was our first visit. We had so much fun. We will be back.

This is the HUGE mum we bought today! It's gorgeous!

We love the farm! My husband and I have bought farm shares since they started that program and we were customers years before that! It isn't just produce, it's eggs, it's milk and cheese, it's meat, breads and cinnamon rolls! On Saturdays they have lunch...it can be anything from brisket sandwiches, Frito chili pie, or burgers. Always comes with sides, dessert and sweet tea! So. Good. Now that they have their fall market open it's pumpkins, gourds and mums galore! They still have some garden produce available! Go check them out!

Reeves family farm is located just 20 minutes from McKinney off and close to 380. When getting there it reminds you of what Texas used to look like: as bunch of farm roads and agricultural destinations. Reeves family farm is worth definitely worth a visit. This farm has a nice selection of seasonal produce when we went: cucumbers, bell peppers, okra, tomatoes, pumpkins. The farm also sells pastries and baked goods like bread pies and prepped food like meatloaf. We also came for the donuts and cider since we're from Michigan and cider mills are a big deal there. They do have a kitchen that sells cider and donuts for 6.50. They have two flavors maple and plain. When we went they do offer wood cutouts for awesome pictures for the kids and pumpkin tic tac toe activities. I do wish they did more like they did in Michigan: hay rides, etc Some tips: I would recommend bringing cash. They try to avoid fees for anything under 40 bucks. Also, I would bring a bag if you don't want a plastic one for your produce. Overall, we had a good time and would come back to support this local organic farm.

I had to wait in the car because no puppies are allowed on property But I got a bite of peach ice cream for being a good boy!

We wanted to take a little road trip from Rowlett this Saturday so we stopped by this farm. It was really pretty as we drove up and there was plenty of parking. They were serving a special Father's Day lunch plate for $18.99. It was bbq chicken, squash casserole, purple hull peas, and serving of pecan cobbler. The chicken was cold at first bite so I took it back up to the counter. They apologized and were really nice about preparing a different plate, and this time it was nice and warm. My favorite was the squash casserole. We also took a look at the fruit stand inside and bought some peaches, a jar of blueberry jam, and a peach ice cream for the road. We couldn't stay long because our puppy was in the car with the windows down. They don't allow any outside dogs because the owners have protective dogs on the property. We should have looked at the website before coming because they do have that posted. There are no indoor restrooms, but they do have a port-o-potty. It's a little unstable and rocks, just FYI. This is obviously a family run farm, but they do have plenty of employees to help. They keep the area very clean, and there are covers areas and plenty of tables to sit at and look at the views. If you're from out of town, be sure you bring a small cooler so you can buy some of the refrigerated or frozen items.

A while back the floor Manager, Jesse give me a hard time cause I had a free coupon for one bottle of soda from Coca Cola. He acted like I printed the coupon myself. How could a gold embossed coupon from Coca Cola be fake. Coca Cola sent me 2 free coupons because I called the number on a Coca Cola soda machine when I lost my money and got no product back. I was only using one of my coupons that day and he acted suspicious about it. He took it to customer service like it was not legitimate. That was very rude and disrespectful of him when I was buying their groceries. They have no respect for customers and I know for a fact that some of their employees are not happy at all with management there. I have never seen any of the managers smile. Also their gasoline discounts are not so cheap and 7eleven or Walmart down the street can match them even after their penny discount and Kroger beats them. Avoiding Brookshire's from now on. We may not have a ton of grocery options out here, so it's really nice having a store that feels clean, fresh, and genuinely welcoming. Everything was stocked and fresh :) Big shoutout to Janet at checkout... patience of a saint. She helped me work through some coupon issues while also juggling helping several other customers at the same time. You can tell she really cares, and it did not go unnoticed. Thanks for letting me know about the blueberry coupon!! Also, Kevin in seafood was awesome. Just friendly, smiling, and helpful. Honestly, everybody in the store seemed happy, which makes a difference these days. And whoever was in charge of the music deserves a raise because hearing Janet Jackson's "Miss You Much" while shopping in the bread aisle really made my day. You officially have a customer for life.

Fourteen months ago I started eating carnivore and although I was already buying my meat here I feared that a carnivore diet was going to be too expensive. I found that not only are the prices very reasonable but that I can buy a variety of animal proteins that I enjoy, like turkey thighs, duck, along with chicken parts. I have found that I spend considerably less eating carnivore than I did when I was buying vegetables. I have been very pleased with the quality of the meat and the prices over all at the store. The people who work here are also kind and helpful. The people in the meat department recognize and greet me. They have so many different cuts of beef and I often ask questions on how they need to be cooked. When I have asked other staff for the location of an item, they stop what they are doing and escort me to the location, which on several occasions were on the top of the shelf and being disabled it is hard to stand and reach things when sitting in a mobile cart. My only complaint has been that often the mobile carts are inoperable, and it's very frustrating not to be able to shop when there are 4 to 5 mobile carts sitting there that don't work. Thankfully they have gotten them repaired and purchased some new ones but they still need to be more diligent in making sure they are plugged in when not in use so it is charged up for the next person.
