Clean, friendly, local grocery store. Fresh meat, sushi, and a beautiful produce department.

Brookshire's itself is a very nice store. Well-kept, clean, a bit expensive but is good for grabbing a few items if you're in town. Lillian today was super nice and helpful when I needed help scanning some melatonin gummies when the tag was bent. The Deli's hot bar food is also really good. I often grab a fish plate during lunch and it is amazing. They also have really good mashed potato's and Mac and cheese. However, some of the attitudes (that seem to be pretty common amongst West Monroe) are less to be desired. I'm not perfect at customer service myself, but was upset when the pharmacy threw my prescription in front of me after I had asked for the correct one. They had also snapped that I need to "give them a second" and seemed pretty annoyed with me overall. read more

Woohoo! Brookshire's in West Monroe is really as good as it gets! A few years ago, the store underwent a $4M dollar renovation, expanding it to a total of 4800 square feet, with a more modern and spacious look. There is a fuel station located outside in front of the store. The store offers newer items, such as the popular sushi bar and a larger variety of organic and regular produce and food fares. There's a deli/bakery area along with a refrigerated gourmet cheese section. The floral department has a wide selection of lovely blooms. The pharmacy area was expanded and now has a new drive-thru window. What really makes this location stand out is definitely the openness of the whole store. The new, refurbished floors, paint, and signage really does make the atmosphere more inviting and appealing to the general public. On my visits, the store is almost always clean and organized, making it easy to find items. Employees here are always helpful and friendly, and even help bring out groceries to your car. I would recommend this location as your grocery store of choice for our area. You will not be disappointed! Happy shopping! read more

Everything is overpriced. Every time I walk past their bakery I hear 2-3 vulgar women cursing loudly. I saw a mouse in the store as well. Will never spend my money here again. They need to clean house. read more

Great floral arrangements at a reasonable price! Their arrangements can easily compete with the expensive local flower shoppes! The produce and meats are fresh and they have meticulous in-store shoppers who choose quality produce and will substitute only when advised to substitute. I shop at Brookshire's a little too often, but this past weekend, I was looking for Cinnamon Sticks. I didn't realize it come in a jar, so I was looking in all the wrong places. I decided to ask someone for help, and not only did she leave what she was currently doing to help me look, but went out of her way to then stop another doing what he was doing to help me look. I believe her name was Theresa. Talk about AMAZING client service! I always have great service at Brookshire's, but I had to give that special shout out to her. I have been a customer for over 30 years. Service has always been great, until yesterday. I am sure everyone has seen the items that you have to use the ecoupons to get the discount. The discounts can definitely add up, but you have to download their site. Ok I downloaded their site and when trying to clip the coupons it would go to a different page and say error. I assume I was doing something wrong. I went grocery shopping yesterday. Before even starting to shop, I went to the Front desk and ask her if I was doing something wrong. The day shift supervisor did her best to help me but she the same kept happening.. System Error. System Down. She was very polite. She treated me like a customers should be treated. She ask what items I was getting and their was three or four things you had to use the e Coupon for. She told me not to worry that since we both could not connect to site they could put a code in this time. I went to the front for the sole purpose of learning what I needed to do, so I would not hold up any lines. If I couldn't use the coupon I wasn't going to buy the items. I start shopping, I go to the register and start putting my grocery on the line. I had quite a bit, I separated the items that needed the ecoupons. I gave her my Brookshire card and politely explained what the lady at the front desk told me to do. The cashier was very rude. She calls her Supervisor, the lady was loud, rude and just downright obnoxious. I explain to her what the lady said at the front counter, and she rudely informed she had left for the day and was not in charge. Ok, I just will not purchase the items. That should of been it, over. But it wasn't, the lady who I assume is over the cashier just kept getting louder and louder, letting me know they did not do that. I simply said look I am only going by what she told me. Then the cashier chimed in and was just as rude. By then they had gotten so loud other customers came over to the line to see what was going on. They did eventually put the code in for three items, while throwing my grocery across the counter, being loud and talking about the lady that had helped me previously. I could not believe how unprofessional the workers acted. When I said I didn't want a certain item because she would not put in the code in for it, the cashier had the nerve to call the supervisor over to the counter and says she doesn't want this. Really, by then there was a line and everyone was listening. At any other time I would have walked out and told them I can shop somewhere else.. Its not like I was only buying a few items. I had almost three hundred in grocery. Grocery that I paided cash for. So what it I wanted to save 10.00. And do you think she got anyone to assist me in taking them my grocery out to my car. Not a chance. She put so much in each bag that they ripped picking them up. I have been sick for two months and this was my first solo journey out by myself. Young Lady you would not have a job if you didn't have customers. Brookshire you need to put your employers through some type of classes on how to treat people, especially the elderly. I come to your store expecting the same respect I show your employee. I know you have cameras in your store monitoring everything someone does, so why would you allow your own employee to be so rude and hateful to a elderly woman who has shopped in your store for over 30 years. I guess you don't need a customers who pay cash and I always tip the young men at least 5.00 for just taking my grocery to my car. I will take my business elsewhere. I am sure others have been treated like this recently by the same woman who is over your cashier after 5:00, and then to allow her to talk and downgrade another supervisor loudly as if the woman during the day did not know anything was so unacceptable. If anything I would say the young lady who works the day shift was just very professional. She was very nice and considerate.. She didn't have one problem answering question or even trying to see if she could help me connect to the site. This happen Feb. 5,2023 at 5:30. Yes I saw the comment section on the ticket, but by then I had already started writing this comment. Hopefully someone will see this post and act on it. YOU GOT THE DAY SHIFT AND YOU GOT THE NIGHT SHIFT AND IT WAS ALL ON VIDEO. CHECK IT OUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO REVIEW YOUR CAMERA AND SEE HOW CERTAIN EMPLOYEE TREAT YOUR CASH PAYING CUSTOMER. I've been a customer at the West Monroe Louisiana store for over 30 year's. I also use their pharmacy for all of my Diabetic Med's. I go in the store at least twice a week. For the last year I've been harrased by the Store Director and a certain cashier. They follow me around the store and stare at me around corners. On July 20th 2023 I walked in the store to the bakery and picked up some brownies. I then went directly to the pharmacy and picked up some prescriptions and paid for my brownies at the pharmacy. The tech put the Brownies in my rx bag. I went to walk out and a cashier ran up to me and said she needs to see my receipt. I've never been so embarrassed in my life. After she checked the receipt and saw that I paid for my brownies she said you can go. No apology, nothing. 30 years in that store and this is the way I was treated. I've never stole anything in my life. Just plain harassment. Stay far away from this store. Go to Super 1 or Walmart. read more

Visited the West Monroe Brookshires today and the cashier was extremely rude and not willing to help me without an attitude. This is the second time she has been my cashier this week, and each time she has assisted, she seemed annoyed that I came to her line. I asked her a question during my transaction because the card reader wasn't working and she raised her hands and said "I'm not dealing with this" and then proceeded to yell in the store for a manager. She also rolled her eyes and continued to talk about me to another cashier. Another cashier named Brenda came to help me and was absolutely wonderful. She didn't leave my side until my transaction was complete. Then I notified management about the original cashier, however I think this woman needs severe customer service coaching and training. I would also suggest a position that doesn't involve one on one contact with customers. Please coach this woman.. I will be sure not to go to her line then next time I visit. read more

This is what a real grocery store looks like. After moving to the area more than 6 months ago, I had begun to really miss good grocery stores. I missed the selection, I missed the organization, I missed that feeling that can't be explained. And Brookshire's has it. Surprisingly the prices were competetive with Walmart too. An old classmate recommended it and had seen it, and said it was a cross between Publix and Whole Foods and was totally right. We will definitely be making the trip here more often. read more

Brookshire's is the popular grocery store down here in the south and I admit they are they biggest and nicest. The store is clean and staff is alright. What gives them less than five stars is the meat department..... It's a joke. I'm from the Midwest and need beef and other meat besides seafood and chicken. The prices are higher than most places. Drives me crazy I can't find a good butcher and have to go to a different store to get meats. I will continue to go to Brookshire's when the sales are right or I want seafood. read more
