They have the most fabulous breakfast ever! There were rotating items daily: omelettes (cheese and western), scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, Canadian back bacon, sausages, home fries, pancakes, waffles, berry compote, muffins, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and tea. The ladies continually brought out food and cleaned the tables, always friendly & efficient. There was coffee and water always available in the lobby so we could keep our water bottles filled. We initially booked for 4 days, but were so happy that we booked an additional 3 days. I would stay here again and heartily recommend it.

The suite was really nice, It had a kitchenette, a living room area complete with TV, a couch and a fireplace. The bed was really comfortable as well. If I ever needed to I would stay here again and suggest my family do the same. There is also a Denny's connected to the hotel so you don't have to go outside to get a bite to eat, Although there is a Moxies in the parking lot if you would like something else. My company's Christmas party was hosted here in one of the banquet rooms. As we arrived they checked our coats for us so we could get into the the party quicker. The Hotel provided us with a buffet of great food which included smoked bacon wrapped turkey and ham. The waiting staff were really friendly and attentive to the tables. The drink staff were also friendly however the bar was a little pricey for one drink. 7 for domestic beer and higher for everything else. I only had one drink from the bar thanks to a Drink ticket however they did provide the party with wine which was pretty good, To sober up they provided a hot chocolate bar complete with Candy Cane's and marshmallows. I'm not sure I would host an event here however I would stay at this hotel again.

It was late night so we let it be but thankfully in the morning, they sent out a technician to fix it quickly. * There was some mold on the showers. * The towels were thin, reminded me of the ones I used as a broke college student. One mimosa and one flower plant were included for each mom. I thought that was great. My only complaint is that there was only one face painter and one balloon artist. It was a 30 mins wait for my child to get face painting done. The face painter was taking 8-10 mins a child. Our brunch reservation was only 1.5 hours so a good portion of the meal was spent lining up just for face painting. I found that to be stressful.

It turned a disappointing event into a wonderful memory. The Oostema Farmstead is a picturesque farm and you can't beat how nice the people are. There are a lot of perks to staying here. The price was comparable during our stay to other hotels that don't have quite the quaint feel, level of service, or room appeal. During your stay you can get complimentary passes to a couple gyms/pools in town. You either make the walk or drive to them however. I do enjoy an attached gym and pool. That was the only downside. You can also get a free pass for a yoga class! The yoga studio is two stores down and seems so fun. I would have scheduled a massage here as it was super reasonably priced for 60 or 90 minutes, but the last booking was nabbed by the time I made up my mind. Also, free bike check out if you happen to be here during nicer weather. Too cold for us. In the room you'll find quality bath amenities, free snacks and drinks, coffee maker, water kettle, teas, and a decent sized fridge. The bathroom had ample towels and nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers (simple human). There was a hair dryer (not the best) and a lighted makeup mirror. If you've forgotten something (toothbrush/paste, razor, etc) they have some convenient supplies at their front desk per the in-room info folder. The only thing you'll want to note is that our sink/mirror was outside of the shower/bathroom if that matters to you or your roomate. Very clean and appreciate that pets are not allowed here. Would definitely stay here again. Parking: Ample street parking adjacent to the hotel during our stay.
