In this store you will find, jewelry, knitted items, incense, essential oils, candles, trinkets, decor, wood carvings, dream catchers, etc. The owner has been traveling the world for over 20 plus years and brings back many of these items to sell. She has established many coops in these countries and donates part of the profits. I was told this by the kind gentleman volunteer who was manning the store for her. There are many interesting items you can buy for yourself or give as inexpensive gifts. The prices here aren't too bad. There is a minimum of $10 for c.c. purchase. This store is hard to find as is tucked away in an alley on spring street. Even if not purchasing anything it's also a cool store to just to poke around.

Very small shop, but packed with all kinds of amazing handcrafted jewelry, hippie-esque clothing and handbags, incense and spiritual items (i don't know how else to describe it!). In school, we were always annoyed at there "only 2 people under 18 allowed in at once" rule, but now as an adult, I see why. i honestly think this place helped me shape my whole "look" (if you can call it that) -- after buying numerous poison rings, boxes of Nag Champa, and hand woven purses there, i credit them for making me the pseudo-hippie i am today :) and while you're there, go 2 doors down to Chucks for some killer wings :) can't miss!

Everything arrived looking intentional and everything delivered on it. The fried chicken salad on a buttermilk biscuit is a serious piece of food. I had mine. My one cousin had hers. And then she had someone else's, shh. I watched the whole thing unfold and I am not here to judge. The herb scone is the kind of thing you think about the next morning. The tea selection is almost overwhelming in the best way. The Thai Ginger and Lemon Moroccan Mint are the standouts, but you genuinely cannot go wrong. The space is warm and considered. Not fussy, not casual. My 91-year-old grandmother walked in and noticed the shine of the floors immediately. She was worried about whoevers job it was to keep them that pristine. She bought a puzzle from the shop before we left. It was beautiful. They had options so nice I almost bought one too even though I hate puzzles! That should tell you something about the energy of this place. Doria Roberts and Calavino Donati built this first in Atlanta, where Travel + Leisure ranked it third in the country for high tea. They relocated to New Jersey during the pandemic to be closer to family. Black-owned, woman-owned, built twice and still going. The people here complaining about the reservation process? It's not that deep. It's a curated experience to the process is specific. If you want ordinary, this isn't for you. I for one like to have my mind and taste buds blown but to each their own. The people complaining about the owners? You must be delusional. These women were so engaging I was there an hour after my tea ended learning and listening and enjoying their company. I want to be adopted by them and have already mentally planned 3 additional visits. Seriously, Go! 210 Nassau Street, Princeton. Make a reservation. IT'S NOT THAT HARD!

It feels like the owners have a very clear vision for what they want this tea room to be... something intentional, calm, and a little different. If you come in expecting something else, I can see how it might not match your expectations. But if you embrace it for what it is, it's truly a special place. I loved going in and smelling all the teas to pick exactly the right one... it's such a unique and thoughtful touch. The atmosphere is charming and relaxing, and the food was excellent. The scones were honestly the best I've ever had. Thank you for such a beautiful and unique experience. I'll definitely be back.

Went with the wife after having a pre-art falafel at Mamoun's. While there I read some yelp…read morereviews where a small percentage of the reviewers were complaining about the quality of the art and giving negative reviews. Regardless, we decided to forge ahead with our visit! Primed with filling and inexpensive falafel, our first surprise was the really cool mosaic at the entrance. Our second surprise was the free admission. Free! We were off to a good start! We got the map from the delightful person behind the counter who refused to take our money, and headed up the stairs to the second floor where the majority of the art awaited us. Entrance to the stairs was included with the Free admission. Nice! The art on display runs across myriad regions and periods. The map will help you find your favorites, as the organization didn't seem to follow any particular theme. It might have a theme, but I didn't worry about it much. I had a map and it was free. Give yourself at least a couple of hours to view the second floor. There are a lot of small rooms, and many of the works have detailed information that helps explain their origins and history. If you want to look and not read, don't sweat it. It's not like it wasn't free to visit. Last of all, in case you missed it, it's Free. Every other museum in the region charges $20 just to walk in the door. This place is Free. Zero $. Gratis. How the heck can you get upset when it costs nothing! I'm glad I didn't get upset because my favorite Monet wasn't the one on display (They had a water lilies painting, and it looked great!) Go. Enjoy the place. Afterwards, take the money you saved with the free admission, and go get an inexpensive falafel at Mamoun's!

If you go into the art museum and go upstairs, you can actually view it from the second floor as well, which is pretty cool and get a closer view of what's up higher. No, we showed up after closing. So we didn't actually get to see the whole collection, but they do have a number of pieces that are out and under a protective glass plane. We saw pieces from Andy Warhol, Singer Sergeant, Rothko, Lichtenstein just to name a few. I cannot even imagine what's in the main collection. If you are visiting Princeton or in the area, you owe yourself a visit to this museum.

A perfect example of lots of things that I want and almost nothing that I NEED. But that makes it such a fun shop and kind of perfect for gifts!  The store is so well laid out that even with so many small and little things out on display, it is still somehow not overwhelming or messy. I've stopped in a few times and either myself or the person I am with needs to get one or two things. On my last visit, I finally caved and got myself an actual matcha whisk and stand, so no more coffee frothing (or subpar matcha making) for me. I've also gotten a really beautiful and sleek pair of chopsticks before, and have my eye on a few other things that I will save for future visits.  The woman that is usually there behind the register is kind and polite without making you feel like you need to get something. In fact, she really is the opposite of some shops that are on top of you as you browse and walk around.  It is on the expensive side. The whisk and stand came out to $30+, but where else do you find such a unique and curated store? Worth it every once and awhile, I'd say.  Happy shopping!
