I got a new license plate holder for Christmas, but when I went to put it on, there were no bolts and it wouldn't screw in. I stopped by Broomfield Auto Body to see if they could help and the people there were super friendly and installed it right away with no wait and no charge. I then asked about some work that I wanted to have done to give my car a new look and Vince was very helpful with advice that was best for me rather than trying to sell me on a solution that would have been better for him. I will definitely go back to Broomfield Auto Body the next time I need body work done on my car and give it my full endorsement! The worst communication ever,Robert kept car for 5-weeks never did he contact insurance company or me to get things going after I started following up realized he never did anything. I took car elsewhere and they have already contacted insurance and been in touch with me in less than 24 hours. Don't waste your time here!!! Robert isn't his reply leaves out he did nothing claims adjusters were never contacted by him, period. The current shop is abreast of 2-claims etc and is much better received than Robert by insurer so, again poor communication and did zero zip nada in 5-weeks! read more

Awful customer service. Both receptionists I met, on different days, are beyond rude and no consideration of the customer. Went here to get a piece replaced for part of the car but it completely fell off after a month. Went back so they can fix their mistake and the receptionist had headphones in ear even when talking to me, didn't notify me of what was going on with the car, just asked for my keys. They ordered the wrong part, they said they would call me back but they never did. Here I am, months in with the piece falling off. If they would have done it correctly the first time or if they would have fixed it again the second time I wouldn't be so cranky about it. Seven months later i called again. The receptionist told me again that she would call me. She didn't. I called back the next day and all she can say is that she hasn't had time for me because she's by herself. I'm not usually THAT customer but seriously. I've been waiting for months. I called back a few weeks later and set up an appointment. I took the afternoon off work to get the piece fixed. I walk in and it's still not fixed. "We did the best we could to put it back". I was completely blindsided by their lack of effort. Here I am thinking they would replace the piece and nope they said it's my fault because I've been using my car and that I've been scraping the piece. Well, I think that if they would have fixed it correctly the first time this would not have happened. If I could give this shop 0 stars, I would. Never am I going there again & I would advise anyone that goes there to be very careful with their car. My experience here was horrible!! My son's car was involved in a hit and run accident, and so we were already upset about this case and we expect friendly faces and good customer service when it comes to an auto body shop. A man named Ray "helped" us out, "help" being an very over exaggerated word. I asked him to show us how he repaired the door and he gives us a lack luster explanation and slams the door that he just fixed. They also told us the car was ready except for it being washed. We wanted it to be washed and Ray, instead of being a good source of customer service, offered us $1.50 along with some attitude so we can go and wash it ourselves. How insulting. We also noticed some streaks of paint and torn rubber in the door we got fixed. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your auto repair service. read more

The staff here, especially Robert, are friendly and respectful. The tow truck sent my car there after an accident, and the other guy's insurance took forever to process. Broomfield Auto Body did not bat an eyelash at keeping the car there for over two weeks! They were nice, and patient, and helped me through the claims process even though they're making no money on my car! It was pretty cool to have and advocate like them during difficult times. These were the most honest people I have ever encountered in my many years dealing with mechanic shops. In needed to get my mom's can in immediately because I SLIGHTLY damaged the tail hatch back on her lame car. And she was freaking going nuts. Broomfield Auto Body was super cool, I was able to bring it in that same day. They told me it may not be good but to come back in 2 hours. When I returned the owner had miraculously gotten the dents out and I couldn't even tell. He said it was on the house and refused to take any money from me. This customer service doesn't happen anymore, it harkens me back to the days of growing up in Broomfield, when men were men and a man's word was his bond. Use them ! read more

My wife and I were in a wreck. We were rear ended and then hit the car in front of us. The hood was bent and the hinges were torqued to one side, the front and rear bumper were banged up, the front left quarter panel was bent, and the front left headlight was marred up beyond buffing. When I called Broomfield Auto Body for an insurance repair, the first thing the lady on the phone said was "is your wife okay?" I was immediately impressed with the concern she showed and decided this was the correct shop. The appointment was set within a couple of weeks and things were great. Once the car was in the shop, they didn't call for any updates on the additional work that needed to be completed. They had the car in the shop for about 15 business days. Not too long of a turnaround. When my wife went to retrieve the finished car, the wrong work summary was given to her and there was no walk-through of the completed work. When I got home and saw the car, a headlight that was damaged in the accident was not replaced, the hood was crooked, and we didn't even know what work was done. We went the next day to get the correct summary of work and then noticed that the headlight was to be replaced and so were the hood hinges, but neither was done. The lady at the front desk got the keys from us and the car was driven around back while we had to wait. There was no communication regarding time frame of repair or what was actually being done to remedy this issue. The lady said that if we wait, it is being worked on right now and will be done shortly. She then gave us cash from the insurance money for the hinges and labor that was never done. After about 40 minutes, the car came back out with a new headlight. (They had the part all along...) The hood was straight now too, but only because a shim was in place. I could have done that. I noticed that the work summary said the rear trunk was repaired along with weatherstripping, trim, and a "CIVIC" nameplate was replaced. I asked the lady why when there was no damage that we noticed. She informed us of damage with pictures previously taken. The nameplate needed to be replaced because of repairing that damage called for clear coating the surface and you can't clear coat over emblems. When we compared the picture to the actual trunk, the exact damage was still there. In addition, a sticker was still on the trunk that would have needed to come off for clear coating. It was still on the trunk and had no clear coating over it. The lady took it around back again without knowing time for repair or if we were supposed to wait. About 5 minutes later, a man drove it around front and I asked if he was the technician. He said "one of them." I asked him about the rear trunk repair and the supposed clear coat. He said they did some paintless dent repair. (There was never any dent in the trunk anyway..?) I asked if they replaced the "CIVIC" emblem. He said no. I opened the hood and showed him the shim. My wife and I wanted to know why there was a shim in place and if there was damage to the frame rail. The technician started getting real defensive and raising his voice. My wife and the lady walked inside while we kept talking. I started raising my voice and calling this guy out on fraudulent business practices. He said the shim was there because the headlight was not OEM because the insurance company pays for Chinese parts. I said the part was OEM before we came in. He told me not replacing the headlight was an oversight. I said, "how the hell is replacing a headlight that's sitting in the back an oversight. Was billing for replacing hood hinges and just bending them an oversight too?" This guy was furious now. He walked inside and went right to the lady and said "We're done here now. Get this guy out of here." He was yelling to the point that my wife was scared and crying. He was exclaiming that I'm calling him a thief and accusing him of insurance fraud. I said that "you are defrauding the insurance company." He said, "you guys are the ones committing insurance fraud, taking cash for repairs that weren't done." Somehow now, there were parts up front that weren't there before. He grabbed what were our two hood hinges and said here's your parts that I'm going to return to the insurance company and slammed the front desk with them repeatedly. Then he grabbed some other part and held it up in the air and said "here's another one I'm returning." All the while, he's screaming and the lady is telling him to go back to the shop area. My wife asked the guy "can I have my keys back please?" We walked out the door and the lady followed us. She said that guy was on his way out in the near future anyways and she said she was sorry. She went to hug my wife as she was getting into the car. The lady said she was going to order a replacement OEM headlight out of her pocket for the troubles but we declined. Including labor and parts, according to the work summary, they defrauded over $1200. We will never go back. read more

They treated my Jeep as if it were their own. I was rear ended and didn't want to file a claim with my insurance company. Robert took care of everything and made sure the at-fault driver's insurance paid for a proper restoration instead of using recycled parts as they first offered. Beware! We took our car in for bumper repair. The repair work was good but the office staff is terrible. They held our car for ransom even though the insurance company had sent them a check a week prior. They misbilled the final amount to our insurance company and then when they should have refunded us our deductible; they said the owner took the paperwork home with them and now one of them is in the hospital and they can't do anything until the owner returns since they don't have the file. Really? Who runs a business like this? I asked for the owners cell phone number and they gave me a non-working number. Asked for a current number, left and message and have never gotten a call back nor have we gotten a refund on our deductible. I might have given this place a higher rating, but there is just something off about that place. First off, the office looks like something from the 70's, and smells like paint and rot. Then I noticed that they have all these certificates on the wall that show they're qualified. Nice touch, but ALL of them are expired (some as long as 15 years ago!). Cars have changed a bit in that time. Finally, there is this lady in the office (think she's the owner?). I'm trying to understand how my car will be repaired, and all she can talk about is the weather, and shopping. Not sure what all because it all blended together...She never shut up! I could see man writing my estimate was trying to concentrate, but she was nagging him! Everything was so unprofessional that I had NO faith that they could fix my car right. I am new to Denver, and was attempting to do a good deed and drop off a donation today at Habitat for Humanity across the street from Broomfield Auto Body. It's a super snowy and slippery day and the Habitat parking lot happens to be on a significant slope. I got stuck in the parking lot with a 4x4 and knowing all the tricks to get out of snowy situations, nothing worked. Many others were in the same boat given the amount of snow in Denver today - I called a tow truck and it was going to be $100 minimum and at least an hour to get to me. I asked another local business for their help and their immediate response was - "no, liability reasons we can't help you", so after quite a bit of shoveling around my Jeep and no progress - I ran across the street to Broomfield Auto Body and that is where the magic happened. I had seen a man and his wife out plowing and shoveling in front of Broomfield Auto Body and asked them if they had tow straps and if they would be willing to help me. Without hesitation Mary (owner) and her husband Roger (owner) got a tow strap and their truck ready and quickly got me out of the pickle I was in. They didn't ask for anything or hesitate for a second - so I wanted to say thank you and bought them pizza. She was so kind and gracious - and said there was no need to do that, I did it anyway as a simple thank you to both of them and their shop. When I returned to their shop, she gave me both their business and personal cards - and said "since you are new to Denver, if you ever need anything (emphasizing anything) - please call me". When I told her the story of the other local business not helping and how much I greatly appreciated both she and Roger helping - her genuine response was "that's the way it should be, we should all help each other'. I couldn't agree more Mary - and I so appreciate both your and Roger's help. While this review is not about the quality or cost of their service, it was important enough to write because I think it demonstrates that there are genuine, good-hearted, honest people out there. If you need work done to your car - I 100% believe this is a great place to take your car to and get work done at the right price and done with integrity. Broomfield Auto Body just completed work on my 2001 Yukon XL. They saved me a lot of money by finding alternatives to the approach insurance would take. Since this was self-pay, that was an approach I appreciated. When the job was completed, I couldn't see any signs of the damage for which I had repairs done. Robert (manager) was very helpful. This is directed at the owners, in particular Mary. The work done in your shop was excellent. However, I do have some concerns. The shop appears dated in appearance, old wrinkled reviews hanging on the walls,, paper work is excessive and could be done better by computer programs. I noted the use of a typewriter in an office and that is so passé. The estimates were right on, but the time of repair estimates were way off and I incurred a lot of extra expense for a rental car. The worst service I have ever received. I was in an accident on 8/31 and part of the damage was that the air conditioning was damaged. They received a check from the insurance company for services, however, gave us our car back without fixing the air conditioning. The car has been back in there 3 or 4 times and still not fixed. When picking up the car yesterday their response was "I can't fix it ,Take it up with your insurance company". Then tell me why did they accept a check from the insurance company for damages but won't fix the car? A co-worker of mine said they had decided a few months ago to not use Broomfield Auto because of the sloppy work. Will never use their services again! read more

You and your families safety could be at risk if you use Broomfield Auto for repairs. Do not make the mistake that I did....Although they may have some good reviews....please please...Avoid this place!!! Stay far far far away!!! What was supposed to take only 5 to 7 days to complete took 3 1/2 weeks. The craftsmanship was so so at best...parts were left under the drivers seat and not reinstalled (and are still under the drivers seat because they would do nothing about it and we do not know where they go). Paint job had an area where it looked like they had it taped off to paint damaged area and once that painting was completed they ripped off the tape damaging part of the paint from a different area that was not being repaired (which hey refused to fix saying they did not do it). Had to have bumper clips redone because they were not lining up. But the biggest thing is that they returned my vehicle in unsafe condition. Starting the second day after I picked up my car from the shop I started reporting to them that the hood on my car was vibrating and was loose. I called over and over again...leaving messages with never a return phone call. The only time that I spoke with them was when I lucked out and someone answered. My husband took the car back 2 times, I took the car back 1 time and my mom took the car back 1 time. Only to be told that they re-tightened the latch. Eventually they decided to replace the latch. (so in my mind if they are re-tightening the latch each time they are saying that they are finding it loose and something is not right..otherwise why re-tighten and then eventually replace?) Even after the replacement of the latch the hood continued to vibrate and if there were windy conditions on the road the hood would ripple and jump all over the place. This past Friday 06/01 when driving home on the 470 expressway at 75mph in the windy conditions my hood opened and scared the living daylights out of me. I slammed on the brakes and unfortunately veered into the guard rail before being able to come to a complete stop. When we took my vehicle in this morning to discuss with them what happened and to discuss them doing the right thing and taking care of the situation they basically said not their fault and sue them!!
