Ok the last review was 12 years ago and I have to say that this park has vastly improved. A great community of dog owners and it's very clean for the size. There's a small dog area and a big dog area, both well maintained and easy to navigate. The owners here are attentive and respectful, and the dogs are generally well-socialized, which makes for a relaxed and enjoyable visit. Plenty of space for dogs to run, good visibility throughout the park, and waste stations that are actually stocked. Overall, it's clear the city and the community take pride in this park. Definitely one of the better dog parks in the area and well worth the visit. read more

Honestly a lot of owners just don't care here.. dogs form mobs and come after my dog every time we try to come here. We keep trying at different times and it just keeps happening. If you want your dog to learn horrible manners this is the place for you. Demand barking where the owner just keeps on talking and not correcting, allowing your dog to hump every dog, letting your dog gang up on other dogs, I could truly go on. It has been a miss here every time since last summer.. then it was a good time. I'm not sure what happened but it's not worth it. read more

This lady let her two dogs attack mine and verbally berated me and another dog owner for our "vicious" dogs. On top of that she had to be asked to clean up her dog's poo as she was just going to leave it. Beware! read more

Good large dog park option right north of downtown Broomfield. With a sand bottom, you get different drainage patterns then natural ground. Not gonna go into it too much but during muddy and melting snow times sand is a bad choice. Right now in summer though, the dry sand is fun as heck for dogs. It's pretty hot though, they have a few natural coverings but not too many trees. Plenty of parking, and right next to other sports fields. read more

This place has multiple huge sports fields, a pavilion, playgrounds, running and biking trails and every July 4th this is where the city of Broomfield holds its annual fireworks display and each year it gets bigger and bigger. I love this park. It's much cleaner than the other parks in the area, the dogs are relatively friendly and well behaved and the owners generally pay attention. The drainage after a rain is adequate keeping mud to a minimum. There are two places at the east end where water pools but that's not too bad. Summer afternoon can be blazing hot with very little shade so be aware. There is fresh water from April to October depending on the weather but it's turned off during winter. Yes there have been incidents between people and between dogs but they've been rare and are probably no worse than any other dog park. read more

Such a simple, petite-- Correction: A Lengthy park for couples, friends and pet owners. I can watch the sunset all day here if I want. I came here with a man that I love and we sat and hit the tunes, and watched the stars fly by. Such romance to me. There is open spaces to fly kites, there are tables to have small BBQ with your family. I never felt so in love to have my guy here honestly with me. No complaints this is a great dog park! I took my dog here yesterday the park overall is kept pretty clean and is a good size for big and small dogs. The fence is great all around for off leash and has a separate side for small dogs. The people that go here are pretty nice also considering most dog parks in denver have snobby people who go. They also have a drinking area with water bowls for all the dogs at the dog park and different benches for people to sit on! Not to mention there's plenty of community tennis balls at the park as well for all the dogs to play with! Definitely recommend taking your dog here. read more

The dog park itself is just dirt, no grass at all. There's lots of grassy areas outside the dog park though. People don't pick up after their dogs, it was gross having my puppy run around there. read more

This place is big. REALLY REALLY BIG. That's really the only good thing about it. If you have a greyhound, he'd be able to get to a full gallop. I like the fact that it's WIDE open and it's a popular dog park. Everytime I've been here there's tons of dogs for my dogs to socialize with. There's dog clean up bags provided, garbage cans and a dog drinking fountain (but that's turned off for about 4-5 months of the year in winter). What I don't like about it is that it's SO barren. There are no trees, no shade and very few places to sit. Most people end up standing, cause I think there's only 6-8 benchs. You could easily subsitute the term "wide open land" for "desolate wasteland" depending on whether you were having a half-full or half-empty day. read more

According to Lola, my labor-doodle : "I love this big open play space. I get to see and smell lots of my friends who come to this park as much as I do and there's lots of tennis balls every where. But on really hot days I get tired cus there's no shade for me to rest under. The water can get gross after a while because the park people took out the automatic watering bowl. Now my mommy brings me my own water and bowl. I hope to see you at the park soon. I'm the black dog with a short tail that welcomes you at the gate." read more

Rocco ( my 6 year old Boxer) likes this park ... a lot. When we pull up in our car, he starts to shake his butt with excitement. There are two big areas fenced in. The first time we went, we put him in the one with no dogs, because we had just adopted him and wanted to see how he acts. He 'talked' to all the dogs at the fence dividing the two sections and ran to his hearts content. More recently he was going in with all the other dogs, and loves it. Yes, it is kind of dry... and there isn't a lot of comfortable shady spots.... so, when it rains a little or over by the water dishes... you get mud very easily... no grass at all. But for our purposes, an enclosed space to run and run, it does its job... and our dog always passes out on the kitchen floor when we come back from here. So, I'll give it 4 stars from my dog's perspective.. but agree, not always fun for people :) Especially when its HOT :) read more

Love this dog park. We've been taking our new pup for the past 3 weeks, sometimes 4 times in a week. Huge area for dogs to run and there is always another dog to play. Generally we've had really good experience with other dogs but we're always on alert anyway like you'd need to be at any dog park. read more

Pretty good dog park! Not much shade, just a covered bench in both the small and large dog side. But lots of logs in the large dog side and less in the small dog side. Nice people and dogs. This was our dog's first time being at a dog park and he had a great time! There is even a watering area in each side for the dogs! Not much grass but not barren. We had a good time. read more

It's been remodeled, all dirt and sand with a few baby trees. Big space. Very unfriendly, unsocial people- they even take their dogs to corners of the space to privately play ball lol it's ridiculous and sad. read more
