Well, I was referred to this wonderful attorney from my employee resource service EAP. I read the reviews before I actually called this lawyer. And thought to myself well, how bad could it possibly be. One he rushes you off the phone extremely fast. He tells you that you only have 30 minutes because of the service from my employer, which is a total complete lie because I'm supposed to get one hour of service from an attorney regarding my legal consultation. He didn't want to hear the details. He said I had three options. Best of luck and that was it. If he's not getting paid to supply you with actual services and recommendations, then you're going to get the basic explanation or three words from him. I will definitely be calling the EAP from my company to explain that they should take him off of the list as he is useless and no help to anybody. Very disappointing consultation. I was referred to Ted Broomfield through LegalShield and the call was unproductive from the start. He is rude and spoke almost nonstop, repeatedly cut me off, and told me "stop, it's not your turn to speak," which felt condescending and unprofessional. He ultimately said he would only help with a $10,000 retainer at $300/hour, despite the case being straightforward and fully documented. I left the call feeling unheard and dismissed. The experience was so poor that I had to contact LegalShield again to report the disappointing interaction and request a new referral, as this one was completely unhelpful. read more

We were referred to Ted through Legal Shield. He made it clear that he hates doing any work for them for the tiny fee he collects and he is not your lawyer, and will not and does not care to do anything helpful until retained for $5,000 and $300 per hour. Luckily, I was forewarned that he is the definition of a narcissist and speaks in a belittling, aggressive tone. It was a clown show talking to Ted . In the 10 minute conversation, he spent most of it talking about his life, girlfriend, how he deals with mostly stupid people and uses that to justify his need to be condescending, rude, and feels he needs to yell to get heard..... This is my personal experience with this Law Firm and I wish I wasn't recommended because the experience I had with Ted Broomfield was horrible and very alarming at least considering that a lawyer is suppose to listen your concerns before cutting you off and not understanding the need and to make the things worse he screams like an Asshole like he's talking to a child which is very unprofessional considering counseling with adults and people who run a business and not children's .
