What a magical night with amazing food, entertainment and people. Jimmi and Cookie are the perfect hosts. The Curry cod was just melting in our mouth What an amazing dinner! We had a five-course meal that was perfect from start to finish. Amazing appetizers to start, the crab and corn fritter entree was so tasty, the salad was super fresh, and the cod curry on a bed of sweet potatoes and garlic green beans were full of flavor. And that tiramisu for desert-- wow, absolutely delicious! Everything paired so well with the great wines. Chef J and his staff catered my parents 50th wedding anniversary. They were timely and very professional! Chef J took the time to describe each dish to the guest and answer any questions they may have had. The food was fresh and delicious. Chef James, his mixologist and pastry Chef, Cookie are masters at what they do. Every question I had, a response was given within the hour. I had been looking for a caterer for my wedding's rehearsal dinner and when my coworker had B2B come in and sing to us (yes sing!) and bring us food, I was sold. I am definitely going to look into having them cater my rehearsal dinner! I wish I had known about them sooner so I could have everyone at the wedding enjoy their food. Their BBQ sauce is to die for! My family and I were deciding between several Chefs and we decided we wanted to go with Chef James. I explained that I was looking for someone to help meet the dietary needs of my diabetic father ASAP. Chef James was very responsive in our initial Yelp Messages and emails. He requested that we speak by phone the following day to make the arrangements and stated that he would contact me. He didn't call me the next day and when I called him he was not available. However, he did contact me the following day. Chef James explained how his business is going great and he's opening a restaurant. He walked me through the process of how he starts cooking at his clients home and does a gradual release to his sous chef once he has perfected the style and taste of the cooking. I thought I had hit the jackpot! And then.... He tells me he is not available for the next 60 days. That really irritated me. What part of ASAP was difficult to understand? I felt that he could have said he didn't have availability in a message after my initial contact with him instead of trying to play phone tag. He said he would suggest some available chefs for me after he contacted the chefs first. He hasn't done that yet but it has only been 24 hours. Would have been nice to work with him but I was lucky to find another chef within an hour after this upset and she is was more accommodating. I guess these upsets happen for a reason.
