Grooming Update: I took him in for grooming. While it was convenient that he was already there for…read moreday care. I wasn't excited about the grooming experience. I'm not saying this was the groomers fault but he developed two severe hot spots the day after. He came home and was non stop itching the next day I noticed the hot spots. Took him to the vet gave him shots and shaved him. I have never had this problem before after grooming. Again not saying it was the groomer. We recently stopped by to check out this new dog daycare because we have a mini Goldendoodle, Naveen, and it's conveniently located near us. Overall, our first impression was very positive. When we first arrived, the receptionist was on the phone with what appeared to be an upset client, so we waited about 10-15 minutes before being acknowledged. To be fair, I completely understand that those conversations can take time and deserve attention. The owner happened to come out, greeted us with a warm smile, apologized for the wait, and immediately made us feel welcome. He gave us a thorough tour of the facility and patiently answered all of our questions. The facility includes separate play areas for large and small dogs, boarding rooms with individual storage for each dog's belongings, grooming services, and an outdoor play area. Everything looked clean and thoughtfully designed. Before dogs can attend daycare or boarding, they complete an assessment, which is easy to schedule through the app (it's listed under Training). Naveen spent a few hours there for his assessment and came home wearing the cutest little bow tie, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us smile. The app was straightforward and easy to navigate, and the pricing seemed fair for the services offered and the area. A few things I wasn't crazy about: the security cameras are for internal use only, so owners can't check in on their dogs during the day. I also felt like many services came as add-ons. Lastly, I noticed the daycare play area didn't have toys. The owner explained that toys can sometimes create resource guarding issues between dogs, which I completely understand from a safety standpoint, but as a dog parent I still wished there were a few enrichment options. If I remember correctly, I believe they mentioned plans to add climbing equipment or other play structures in the future. For now, I'm giving 5 stars based on our initial visit and Naveen's assessment experience. The customer service from the owner, the cleanliness of the facility, the thoughtful little details, and the overall professionalism left us feeling confident enough to book both daycare and boarding later this month. I'm also planning to schedule a grooming appointment. I should of took more pictures, to post, but I was in the moment and forgot. I'll be sure to come back and update this review after we've had experience with those services as well.

We've had a lot of swims with Adrianne- and we love her and her relationship with our Oliver. The swims have really helped him recover and strengthen both his injured leg and his healthy leg. The Puddle is a popular place, so it is sometimes tricky to get in- but well worth it in my opinion. They also sell lots of fun toys and treats for dogs too and have a space for bathing your dog that I need to try out for sure. They also sell packages for the swims that do save you a little money. I would highly recommend this location- the staff is absolutely wonderful!

I've loved my experience with Enzolen!!!…read more I've worked with both trainers and have had an excellent experience. Currently my dog is being trained as a service dog, and I was ecstatic that I was able to get him started on his first task in my first session! I feel like they took great care in evaluating my dog for themselves and taking my own experience into consideration. I have been able to use things I've already taught my dog to further his training and it's even made me feel more confident as a dog handler. I love that they're a local business, and that they build a real connection with your pet. My dog who's usually aloof with people enjoys their company and even listens to them when I'm around which NEVER happens. I feel like their training methods are fair, and I like that they explain why they make suggestions for me. They're always willing to answer any of my dumb questions about their recommendations, without being condescending or holier than thou. I've enjoyed working with them so much I've already decided to do sports training and maybe even a board and train. Their prices are affordable which is an uncommon thing with training in chicago. I had a hard time finding someone within my budget, but I don't feel like I receive discount training. I feel like I don't have to be rich to provide training for my dog. All dogs can benefit from training (and all humans since it's usually us who has to make the biggest changes) and I'm so happy I found trainers I trust and can afford right in chicago. I recommend them to everyone I meet and will continue to do so! You will not be disappointed in your experience with Enzolen! They are unethical (lied about the pup and breeder they were supposed to have been in contact with) and incredibly disorganized. They also tried to tell me that puppy raising board and train was equivalent to weekly in-house trainings. Nothing made any sense. I lost $3000 due to their "No refund policy" (they never even met the dog they were supposed to train), but I decided to cut my losses and run instead of staying with them and progressing with whatever program they were going to do. Please learn from my mistakes.
