    Chopped Sando

I've been here twice now and the first time was good but today I tried the chopped sando and DAMN that was delicious! Can't wait to come back and try some more of their items.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool sandwich place with two small benches inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The hot boy was not bad, could have more pastrami but overall decent sandwich. Service was standard . Decent place to try if you are near the area

    Cracked pepper turkey

This sandwich was so good it briefly reset my standards for what lunch should be. I ordered the cracked pepper turkey on a sourdough roll, and every layer felt intentional. The turkey was tender with just enough bite from the pepper, the cheddar added a clean sharpness, and the shredded lettuce and onions brought the perfect crunch without overwhelming the stack. What really took this sandwich into "I will think about this later" territory was the combination of avocado, garlic aioli, pesto, and Italian herb oil. It wasn't just flavorful, it was balanced. Creamy, herby, bright, and savory all at once, like the deli equivalent of a well‑conducted orchestra. The sourdough roll held everything together without getting soggy, which feels like a small miracle considering the amount of sauce (no complaints). Service was quick, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the whole experience reminded me why Brother's has such a loyal following. This wasn't just a sandwich, it was a standout moment in my day. Absolutely delish.

We stopped by this sandwich shop for a quick bite. I had a sandwich here before but can't remember what kind but it was good. I decided on the Hot Pastrami sandwich without reading the ingredients. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were only 2 benches against the wall and no tables to eat indoors. The place was large enough for several tables and chairs but nothing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyway, my sandwich was ready and it had arugula leaves inside which made it bitter. I did not taste the Swiss cheese and I requested no onions. The pastrami was good but the arugula destroyed it. My mistake. Next time, I'll read the ingredients. I had a half and planned to remove the arugula with cilantro at home but the hubs ate it the next day.

I had the Italian sub at Brothers Deli, and it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. The bread was super fresh--soft on the inside with just the right amount of crunch on the outside. You can tell they don't cut corners with quality. The meats were just as impressive--fresh, flavorful, and stacked perfectly. Every bite had a great balance of meats, cheese, and toppings. Nothing was overpowering, and everything tasted clean and well-made. What really stood out to me was how fresh everything tasted. It didn't feel like a rushed sandwich--it felt like it was made with care. If you're looking for a solid Italian sub with fresh bread and high-quality meat, Brothers Deli is definitely the spot. I'll for sure be coming back.

2700 Park Blvd Oakland, CA 94606 I was in the area, so I decided to go by and try a sandwich at Brothers Deli. It was around 3pm on a sunny Wednesday. I asked them what was the best sandwich on the menu. The young man said lots people like "Italian Sub" and the "Brother's Choice." I asked how big the sandwiches are, and he wasn't sure. He held up his hands to approximate the size. So I ordered the "Chopped Sando." I wanted a cold sandwich that was easy to eat. Pretty good sandwich for $13.95. "Chopped" gives the sandwich a blended filling on a soft roll. I asked for no peppers. So the chopped filling had a mild flavor. BTW, my sandwich was about 10-1/2" - 11" long. I estimated the size based on the length of a standard sheet of paper.....8-1/2" x 11." You can only order one size. They also sell drinks, chips, and candy. All orders are takeout. There's no tables for eating there. The place is clean, with a modern decor. I found parking on the street behind the restaurant. It's a steep hill, so not too many people park there. (Booker St) I will definitely return and try another sandwich. Located at Park Blvd x Spruce St

This review is long overdue! We regularly drive all the way from Antioch to Oakland just to enjoy some of the best sandwiches we've ever had. The food is consistently amazing, and the customer service is outstanding. We also love supporting small, local businesses, and this café is truly worth it. Make sure to stop by and you won't be disappointed!

I finally got the chance to stop by this awesome deli. I grew up in this neighborhood and was excited to see the growth. I love the open concept, but curious with such open space why there is no dine in seating. The staff was very friendly, and I will say for the amount of people waiting they get the orders out fast. I got the roasted turkey. My sandwich was super good will definitely go back next time I need a sandwich.

10/10 sandwich! I ordered the Hot Boy (hot), which came with pastrami and turkey and was absolutely delicious. The customer service was excellent, the wait time was minimal, and the place was spotless inside. I highly recommend this place!

Stopped by here for lunch. I've been wanting to try brothers deli for a long time. I placed an order on the online app and my sandwich was ready about 20 minutes later. They do get a good amount of customers during lunchtime so be prepared to wait a little. I got the Italian sub and it was delicious. Good amount of meat and veggies to bread ratio. Can't wait to come back and try their other sandwiches. They also sell drinks, chips and candy too. Workers were really nice and working hard to make everyone's sandwiches. FYI, this is a to go place. There are no tables and chairs to stay and eat so just be mindful of that.

I was craving a sandwich so I ordered ahead here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super friendly and clean place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the chicken garlic panini. It was made fresh. I took a bite in the car and it was so tasty. Very flavorful I was impressed. Definitely worth the price and cooked to perfection!

This is my go-to cheat meal! I order the Italian sub and add pastrami for extra flavor and meat. The balance of flavors is perfect, and the dressing they use is amazing. The Dutch crunch bread takes it to the next level. Service is always polite and friendly. Love this deli!

I love that they use traditional cuts for the sisig. A generous portion of meltingly soft gelatinous pig's head (jowl, ears, snout, etc.) is loaded into a bubbly, crackly baguette-bolillo hybrid. The rich, seasoned pig drippings and runny egg yolk soak into the bread without turning it soggy, while the savory soy seasoning, creamy mayo, and mild kick from the chilies make every bite more delicious. We could only finish half but the leftovers held up really well and can easily be revived in the air fryer. They provide a small wedge of lime but I like a lot more acidity to cut through the richness. The crisp lettuce, cucumber, and mayo adds a refreshing contrast, helping mellow out the heat while keeping each bite balanced. Make sure to have plenty of napkins on deck! * House Ramen Spiced Fries ($8) As a kid...who used to crush a bag of ramen, sprinkle the msg laced seasoning packet all over, and ate it as snack? Maybe three stars for the sandwich, but nowhere near as good as Alameda's other sandwich shops, Domenico's or Santoro's. The service was bad. First the young counter guy had no idea what I meant when I asked to substitute havarti for swiss. Then he charged me $.80 to "add cheese" to the sandwich when it already had cheese. The older woman (owner?) and another young counter guy then came out from behind the counter and had a long, almost shouted conversation in front of the register, all while eating soft serve. The balls are covered in their red sauce with provolone and Grana Padano, which gives it that nutty and salty flavor that pairs extremely well with the meatballs and baguette. All the juices and cheese just get soaked up to perfection. The baguette bread they use is supplied by La Farine, which is just a few meters away from each other. Just putting out there that La Farine is hands down one of the best bakeries in Oakland, so it makes sense that this sandwich would be so dang good. I placed two separate sandwich orders online through Clover for pickup under my name. I ordered them about 45 minutes before arriving. When I arrived, I showed Maria my receipts and gave her my name. She briefly checked and told me she did not have the orders. The line was long, so I understand things can get hectic, but it did not feel like she was making much of an effort to actually verify the orders. She even misheard my name and was about to hand a sandwich to someone else under a completely different name. At that point, I became concerned that one of my sandwiches might have already been given to another customer. After I continued asking her to check, she somehow found one of my orders in the same area she had already looked. However, only one of the two sandwiches was there. I showed her my Clover receipt again, including the date, timestamp, transaction information, and order details. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, she told me she did not know how to use the Clover system and could only search by name. She then told me I needed to contact Clover myself. I was honestly shocked because she was the manager but said she did not know how to use the restaurant's ordering system. When I explained I could not find a customer support number for Clover and asked what she could do to resolve the missing order, her response was essentially, "I don't know what you want me to do about it." I asked how the restaurant communicates with Clover when there is a problem with the system or how they diagnose issues with the device. Again, she said she didn't know and that the owner was responsible for the Clover system. I asked if I could speak with the owner and requested a contact number. She refused to provide one and told me I could come in early on a weekday if I wanted to speak with them. I'm not from the area, so expecting me to make another trip simply to speak with the owner was not a reasonable solution. What made the situation even worse was that I did not receive a refund for the missing sandwich. I paid for two sandwiches but only received one. Despite showing proof of payment and the order details, there was no attempt to refund the missing item or offer a replacement. Whether the missing sandwich was caused by Clover, a restaurant error, or someone accidentally receiving the wrong order, I would have expected the manager to make a reasonable effort to fix the problem. Instead, I was essentially told it wasn't her problem. Mistakes happen. Technology fails. Orders get misplaced. I understand all of that. What matters is how a business handles the problem afterward. In this case, the customer service was extremely poor, and Maria's attitude made the situation considerably worse. I've also noticed other Yelp reviews mentioning similar customer-service issues, which makes me concerned this isn't an isolated experience. I hope the owner sees this review and takes the time to address what happened. Little Lucca might have good food, but good food doesn't excuse poor customer service or charging a customer for an item they never received. I paid for two sandwiches, received one, was not refunded for the missing sandwich, and was given no reasonable solution. Extremely disappointing experience.
