My son has attended Burgett's Learning Center in West Lafayette since we moved here from San Diego…read morein 2014. My son attended a daycare in San Diego when he was several months old. We have firsthand information of the daycares in both cities. We were initially worried about the quality of daycares in a small university town. We visited several daycares in West Lafayette and ended up choosing Burgett's. We are happy with our decision. Burgett's has exceeded our expectations in all aspects, from the attentiveness of faculty to the effectiveness of communication between administration. For example, the swimming lessons in the day care has helped my son greatly. He only attended Burgett's for two years and recently started to swim independently in just about three visits in a standard pool. I couldn't believe how easy it was for him. I knew that it's the swim lessons from Burgett's that helped him.

This church has been their for me in every season of my life. Even when I was at my lowest, this church cared for me. It's a good church.

Their so called syllabus is a joke, many times I have walked in and seen their educational time, which is having the kids watching some type pbs or nickelodeon toddler show. They also claim that their teachers have training early childhood development, which also is not true. A new hire was said to have completed A COURSE as in singular. They are also frequently under staffed during parts of the day, sometimes 15-20 kids to 1 teacher. It's my opinion that the management is in it for the funding from vouchers. There are a few great teachers, if you choose to send your child here hope that you get one of them.
