Yes I've heard and experienced that but she is talking about 122% inflation since 2019 (35% a year). That, we haven't had. What a difference 5 years can make since I've heard Lowes has purchased Great Floors recently. I'm selling another home and the customer service was far below acceptable. I was told a crew would install the new carpet. Only a one person crew showed up for the install. Old carpet came out in 2 pieces and new carpet went in in 5 pieces most likely because contractor could not handle carpet weight in 2 pieces. I now have showing seams every 4' to 6'. We were told that Great Floors would make it right by our salesman but that was another lie. Also I was lied to about the warranty transfer to the new owner of the home. They refuse to make anything right. I will never use or recommend Great Floors to anyone ever anywhere because of the lies and excuses we have received from the Coeur D' Alene store.

They were able to find a discontinue piece of trim to finish the project. Andrew as responsive and really helped solve a problem which was unforeseen by everyone until the carpeting was removed. In addition, the team finished ahead of schedule and the flooring looks great! There is always something problematic which comes up with home projects, and it was great that Brothers was able to make everything right without a hassle. I kind of figured they'd come right out and fix it since it's so new. Nope. I was told there's a one year warranty and so they charge for repairs. I'm a little appalled they weren't more interested in standing by their work. I spoke to the store owner who said maybe it was a dog who created the problem. In all fairness the previous owners did have a dog, but we don't see any other issues that dog caused so I'm doubtful. It's also gotten significantly worse since we moved in and we don't have a dog. I'm giving 2 stars since the rest of the flooring looks good, but just beware that if their installation doesn't stand the test of time (fairly minimal time as homeownership goes), you're likely on your own.
