My 1st choice for any type of millwork needs…read more I needed some special crown molding made for the top of my kitchen cabinets. Not knowing where to turn I called multiple cabinet shops in the area and it seemed like they were all too busy to assist me with a small project. However, one shop did forward my information to 1st Choice whom contacted me right away. I explained what I was up against sent detailed photos of what I was trying to accomplish and Ryan, the fellow that was helping me assured me they could handle it no problem. I took my examples to meet Ryan and figure out the process. Upon arriving, I got a tour of the facility, he explained how they can fabricate custom tooling, or I can pick one of the tools they had in stock to cut the raw wood with. After looking, we found one that I liked and it matched my cabinet style. He was also able to identify what type of wood I had, and from there we were off and running. A short time later, they called and said the crown was done. At this point, I needed somebody to match the finish of my existing cabinets, and once again they came through. They hooked me up with Steffan of Kallenbach Wood Touch-Up and he did a knockout job. That guy is a true artist. So, all in all, Ryan has been an asset for referring quality tradesman. They do fantastic work, are extremely professional, and extremely capable of a wide range of wood projects. I give my full endorsement!

So impressed with their attention to detail, double measurements due to a gas stove insert that I had to raise up. The installation team are seasoned veterans and they cleaned up everything. They were timely and answered all my questions with respect and thoughtfulness.

McCabe did all of the LVP and baseboard. He was an artist in the job he did, making changes and adding design ideas as he went! Abell did all of the carpeting. Again, a job of artistry as opposed to just replacing carpet. They said his schedule, always on time always very caring of our home, very pleasant to deal with. My experience with Edwards Tile is similar as a prior review. They were hired to install tile in 3…read morebathrooms in our home. The tile was not level with multiple high and low spots. Mosaic tile sections were missing tiles due to their installation and knocking loose the tiles and not replacing them. There was grout all over everything after they had finished grouting. The water guard product which is red was flicked all over the new tile and required removal with a razor blade. They came back multiple times to try and fix and they did not. In the end we had to tear out all of the tile and backer board in two bathrooms and start again. We may have to tear out the third bath as well. We are out about $5000 in the cost of tile and removal at this point. I have heard that Edward and his Father do good work but the people they sent to our job did not.

We ran into Matt at the Spokane Home Show where we talked with several outdoor screen companies. Matt was extremely knowledgeable, had great reviews, and brought up things to think about that none of the other vendors raised. When he came to our home, he brought examples of different blind construction and showed clearly why the design of their screens is superior to the other companies we saw at the show. Matt was a joy to work with and is the best contractor we've had since breaking ground on our home. He is easy to reach and very responsive. His quote was affordable. The quality of the product is excellent. Most importantly, the detail in the installation was fantastic and the shades look like they are just part of our home. This will easily extend the seasonal usability of our deck by 50% or more while also making those hot summer afternoons comfortable when the afternoon sun previously flooded our deck.
