We celebrated my husband's birthday last night at Brother's Keeper, a cozy bar in South Miami with a cool 70's vibe and wonderful service. Anna and E-Z made our night extra special with their kindness and smiles. Everything we tried was delicious the chicken wings (and I'm not usually a fan) were crispy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The spinach and artichoke croquettes were so so soft inside, the steak was melt-in-your-mouth, and the Caesar salad was fresh and beautifully presented. The margaritas were also excellent , perfectly balanced and refreshing Parking was easy since it was a Tuesday, and the atmosphere was relaxed, perfect for a pleasant evening out. Highly recommend!!!

This place has a cool vibe and a very friendly bartender. I really like the decor and it makes a great stop off for a drink if you are out and about town. So many drinks sounded very fun and tasty. We tried the Apricot and Strawberry Jungle Bird, Ginger Beet Smash and a smidgeon of the Pepperoncini Gibson. All were delicious and I wish I could have had more, but fancy drinks are pricey. This was one of the fancier places we stopped off while in town, but perfect for a date night/special occasion. Its located right near a trolley stop and easy to get to without a car. There's a full food menu too. I appreciated the option to have the shishito peppers prepared one of two ways. I opted to have mine with olive oil and sea salt. I always wish more places had these on the menu. Food was super fast. Other items tempted me as well. There is also daily happy hour from 5-7. There's a pool table available too.

Really digging this new Alton and Lincoln bar. The space is small but comfortable. Nice big bar in the center with cushioned bar top. Nice touch. And the lighting makes you feel like you are part of an aquarium, which are adorned behind the bar. Stopped in for their happy hour menu. The oysters were so fresh and delicious (East Coast Cape Cod region) more on the sweet side, not so briny. Also got a chance to try the bacon wrapped dates with queso Cabrales inside. Nice pairing for some drinks. They had a good selection of cocktails and NA ones too, if you're skipping the booze but want something flavorful and fizzy to drink. They have a pool table, darts, and a juke box. Living for this dive!

Brother's Keeper is such a great spot! They opened close to two months ago and I've found myself here a handful of times already. The staff is all so kind and attentive. The bar is great from its super cool decor to the cold AC, great drinks (cocktails, beer, and wine) and yummy food by QP Tapas. Highly recommend ending the night with the cheesecake bites that are so delicious. They have a great happy hour everyday from 5-7pm that does not disappoint with drinks and bites. Can't wait to come back again soon!

Once again yelp never fails me. I parked my car at the lot closest to my dermatologist and I had an hour to kill before my appointment and it was 5pm. The perfect time for happy hour. I searched happy hour and sorted by distance and this was the closest spot. It took me 3 mins walking to find it and parking was less than 3 dollars an hours. When I walked in I was a little skeptical because I was the only person there but I grabbed a seat at the bar and the bartender handed me a menu. The inside is super cool they have salt water aquariums over the bar which I thought was awesome! He told me all drinks were half off and at the top of the menus were the martinis and I instantly knew I was at the right spot for me. I ordered the bread martini. It was amazing and came with a little buttered croissant and it was the perfect combo. I also ordered half a dozen of east coast oysters. They were fresh and delicious. All of that for 30 bucks in Miami Beach. Not too shabby, can't wait to go back!

Absolutely loved my experience here! Arrived around 9:30 on a Wednesday night and a few other people were here but by 10:30, it was packed! The bartenders are super knowledgeable and friendly - the kitchen made me the bread service martini even though it was closed and man, that croissant was warm, buttery, and delicious. Music was good, people at the bar actually talk to each other, and drinks are affordable. Menu looks great too, though I didn't get to try anything other than the croissant due to the time. Will definitely be back. Pro tip- ask for Jess at the bar!! Best bartender ever

The food, service and ambiance were great. It's had a neighborhood bar feel to it and my husband and I felt welcomed.

My new favorite spot on Miami Beach! As soon as I heard that the creators of Lost Boy were behind this new bar, I had to check it out. Right when you walk in, you are blasted with amazing A/C and a nice relaxing volume of music. Labeled a "dive bar", this place is an elevated version of such, however it gives all the cozy feels of a local dive bar. We started with the Lychee Coconut Colada which had notes of banana as well and definitely packed a punch. Their happy hour bites looked amazing, we had the Frita Pie, Bacon Wrapped Dates, and Jerk Chicken Wings. None disappointed and all had so much flavor, no extra sauces or toppings needed. We finished with the Frozen Cheesecake Pop which was sweet and salty, possibly my favorite dish. The service was impeccable, the bartenders and staff were so in touch with their guests. Happy hour everyday from 5-7 is something relatively new to the Beach and I am so here for it. I can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu!

Amazing service, cocktails and food. We loved the stuffed dates on happy hour so much we ordered them twice. I cannot recommend this place enough! It's the perfect addition to Miami Beach. As a bonus they have happy hour everyday from 5-7.

The onion rings are everything! Bartender is heavy handed and friendly staff! Pool tables and good music. Kitchen doesn't close till midnight! Also love bands on weekends!

Walked into this lovely but chill neighborhood bar after our shifts to check it out after meeting the owner. Not only did the lead bartender recognize us after only having met us one other time at his previous job, but remembered we don't drink alcohol and called for two non-alcoholic cocktails to be made. Fantastic service and atmosphere, very safe and cool vibes. The n/a cocktails were amazing and the snacks hit the spot. So happy we came by and will definitely be back!!

Not a good spot for a person on his own simply trying to grab a drink. People don't know how to respond to a solo patron.

Headbangers Ball!…read more Kill your Idol was one of my brief stops during the Saturday pub crawl. The bar is located towards the back, and the stage is up front. After getting their white tea aka whiskey shot, my bro and I had to make our way through essentially the mosh pit of a KISS cover band, white face paint and all. The drink is always good, but the music is not my kind of vibe.

The bartender told us from 8-10p, drinks are half off, whoa! The hard rock was playing and the decor above the bar will make you laugh (and maybe reminisce). They had an art installation in the bar (so cool that they do this!) when we were there. We weren't quite sure what kind of music the DJ would play, first it was very hard rock and the crowds started coming so more popular songs were played. People were dancing, drinking and having a good time. A full range of music from NIN, Nirvana, Mariah Carey, Shakira, etc was heard all evening! You could put requests in and it was honestly a really fun night! They keep the bar clean, always removing empty glasses, napkins and constantly moving to clear the bar and small tables. They have a water station at the end of the bar and really make sure it's always full. I'm very impressed with this place (it's connected to Lost Weekend but we never made it over since we were enjoying Kill Your Idol too much). We had a great time, thank you!

It was their trivia night, I believe there was a $1500 pot if you win. Everyone seemed to be playing. We arrived to late to join. The place was packed yet there were only two servers. There were times we were waiting for assistance however we could see she wasn't just sitting on her ass. We order burgers, flat breads, tenders and steak tacos. Steak tacos were horrible Burgers were delicious Flatbread were good Tenders definitely looked like they were frozen tenders from the grocer. The beverages were nice not too strong but not weak. Great nostalgia and drinks but their gratuity practice is a serious problem…read more I stopped by Wet Willie's out of nostalgia during my most recent visit. Years ago I'd come here after the beach, sit on the balcony, people-watch, and cool off with a strong, frozen drink. In that sense, the place is exactly as I remember, with cold drinks on a hot Miami day and a fun atmosphere. Unfortunately, the billing experience completely changed how I felt about our visit. When the check arrived, I noticed the suggested tip percentages were unusual (around 7%, 8%, and 9%). I was planning to leave my normal 20% tip, but then the gentleman behind the bar explained that a 15% gratuity had already been added and the listed percentages would be additional. To be clear: I always tip, and I generally tip well. But adding a gratuity without authorization or clearly disclosing it up front is a big deal. A tip is supposed to be voluntary, and quietly including one, especially in a setting where you're already prompted to add more, feels misleading and wildly inappropriate. That part honestly overshadowed the visit for me. The drinks and the memories are still there, but check your bill carefully before paying. I enjoyed the nostalgia, yet this practice alone makes me hesitant to return. This practice of discretely tipping themselves is borderline theft.
