This was a last-minute find on a hunt for a dive bar in the vicinity of the Venetian Marina. What a unique find! This is a dive/sports bar located on the ninth floor of a condominium building. It is open to the public and even though it is under construction right now outside, you still have some great views from the ninth floor. Hard to explain this place in comparison to south beach and biscayne bay bars. You have to go into the condo building Venetia, take the elevator up to the ninth floor and then you find this beautiful patio overlooking the bay. Inside is like an Irish pub that you would find looking for dive bars in any major city. Attentive bartender that gave out affordable drinks. I didn't try the food, but a perfect spot for a late nightcap after the misery of ocean avenue. read more

Cool sports bar up on the 7th floor I think. You go in the building and jump on the elevator and there are signs for it. Building is Uber going renovations right now so a little messy getting there. Love this great hole in the wall spot! It can be tricky to find since it's located on the 9th floor of the Venetia building and parking can be tricky (limited street parking or valet). The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and they allow smoking outdoors. They have lots of tvs as well so it's a great place to catch a game. It's definitely a no-thrills type of place so definitely more on the casual side. Their menu consists of bar food and their wings are our favorite! Highly recommended! Their prices are super good too. Service can be a little slow but always pleasant. Food and drinks come out at a timely manner. Love this hidden gem! read more

Wow. What a treat. Always loved this place, now even more. Old school dive bar on 9th floor worth a good vibe. Jacqueline the bartender was so sweet. Turns out she and 3 patrons there were all from Pittsburgh like me. So freaking cool. Had the wings which were amazing. This is a sister bar to Brysons in Miami Springs so I figured the wings were good and they were. Looks like I have a new bar to come watch my Steelers play during the football season. I stopped in for a quick bite on a Tuesday afternoon. At 4 PM there were very few people there, just a couple of guys at the bar. I ordered the French Onion soup and a Reuben. The food was predictable/fine, and it came out really quickly. The bartender was efficient - friendly. She didn't hover, just checked on me from time to time. If you're looking for haute cuisine, you're in the wrong place. But if you like solid food (sports bar stuff), and decent prices, then you'll be pleased. read more

A bit hard to find on the 9th floor of the Venetian condos. We stopped in here for a quick bite with friends while staying at the Hilton Downtown the night before a cruise on a recommendation. Food was predictably good, not great but good for a local sports bar. Had the mahi Reuben blackened. It was a unique twist on the original, quite good. Service was quick, kind and polite. Wife had the seafood trio, it was not prepared correctly, ordered blackened, it came out something resembling boiled. Scallops were good but not hard seared like she likes them. Shrimp fettuccini alfredo was heavy and a large portion. Next time skip the wings, nothing special there in my opinion. Overall an okay meal for a reasonable price. Give it a try. read more

We stayed a week at a hotel within walking distance of Mike's, so it was usually our last stop for the night. It's a dive bar for sure, which is usually the most fun. All week, the servers were great and the food was very good. We were lucky to be there the night the Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup, a great sports crowd! read more

Came here for a Reuben sandwich on St Patrick's Day. It was decorated festively and they had Irish food and drink specials! An interesting place for sure as it's a bar on the pool deck of some apartment building near the Venetian causeway. Would be nice to sit outside bc there's a view of the ocean and a pool but it was under construction and had a weird smell. We had the Reuben and fish and chips which were both great. Reuben was definitely the best though. Also at a great price point for Miami. Definitely worth coming if you want a dive bar atmosphere and some bar food. We visited Mike's on July 19, 2025 based on the website and reviews. Location was okay, generally looked like lots of construction was in progress, so not the best ambiance as we approached. Server was sweet, but food runner seemed a little "off". We had an order of grilled salmon, which seemed more baked. The kicker here was it took more than an hour to arrive at the table and it was mixed up with the special. A special this night was parm-crusted salmon, and that topping was "rubbed" off to correct the order. Overall food taste was just "so-so", too, and it lacked seasoning. Our son labeled this experience as "click - baited", since the website looked much better than the real experience. read more

What can I say about my favorite bar in all of Miami! I've reviewed this before and I'll review it again! Hands down the best bartending staff in town and a bar who really takes care of their clients. Heather, Aly, Chelsey, Susan, Eli, EVERYONE! These bartenders are phenomenal, spectacular, stupendous... I don't have enough words to describe these individuals, cause they are all truly amazing! It's definitely not your typical bar, it isn't something glamorous or fancy, just a great bar to catch the game, hang out with friends, play some pool while playing your favorite song over the jukebox and enjoying the libations! We went on a Saturday from 3-6pm to watch a couple of basketball games that were on. Immediately after stepping in it smells pretty horrible (all the bad smells you can imagine a bar having) - it was so bad we actually had to move down to the other end of the bar by the door that went to the outside so we could get some air any time someone opened it. Nothing seemed to be cleaned or wiped down. We some multiple people leave who had ordered food and the bar was dirty from that, but was never wiped down after that. New patrons were wiping it down with napkins. Took quite a while for someone to acknowledge us and take a drink order... almost 10 mins - there were maybe 8 people at the bar at this time. Ordered a bucket of beer and it barely came with any ice - had to ask for more ice and it seemed like an inconvenience. As for the outside, the "view" the mention is hindered for what appears to be construction going on. The pools are torn up and you actually cannot step outside of the bar area to go enjoy the view. Not sure if this is temporary construction, but was told it's been like that for quite a while. read more

Located on the 9th floor, this place has outdoor seating ( the building pool constructions are on u fortunately ) but u can see the beautiful view of downtown and Brickell as week.. inside is big, 2 pool tables if u want to bet your friends... bartenders, all women are amazing. Love them, always smiling and ready to serve or help you... great music and big tv screens. I had different food items like the burger, some app like chicken tender, nachos and chicken wings.. definitely perfect with a very cold beer during a NBA Or NFL game. Food was great! I ate every bite of my fish & chips, and my daughter ate most of hers too, which is largely out of character. If you're in a hurry it might not be for you, as it took a good while before our appetizers came out (apparently due to a large table next to us having just placed their orders). Notably they were the only restaurant I can recall in this area that did not automatically tack on a 15-20% "service fee," which was a lovely surprise & earned them an extra star! read more

The food was excellent and the service, though efficient and pleasant, was very slow. Food took a long time to arrive. The wait staff was great at clean up and refills and were very attentive. The drink menu is extensive and impressive. The desserts are amazing! I highly recommend anything with the vanilla ice cream. read more

Hidden away in the elevated pool deck of one of Miami's older highrise condos is a funky little dive bar. This is a great little spot to either hide from your wife :) or have a nightcap with a new friend. Oh, and you can even buy Girl Scout cookies with your drink! I stopped by last weekend after dinner and a stroll with a friend since our night was still young at midnight. Though there are pool tables, we sat at the bar where I indulged in a (couple) of smooth yet potent Rum old fashioneds. The alcohol content was on point, and it was well mixed with bitters and an orange slice. The music was a nice alt-rock mix, perfect to chill out to. Toward the end of the evening, I ordered us a helping of mozzarella sticks. We did have to wait a little because of a minor miscommunication, and once we got them the taste was a little salty. We came here last year with another couple on our way to Cuba, we were very impressed with the service and the elevated bar food. It's on the 9th floor and the jukebox will probably be loud but the food is awesome and the staff is solid. I remember the coconut shrimp being perfection, if you have ever eaten fresh shrimp cooked perfectly you know how disappointing over cooked shrimp is and they have fabulous skills getting it right..... I could just order the shrimp but the Broiled seafood platter was the choice tonight. For a Tuesday evening (after 9:00) they have quite a few patrons, service excellent again. I truly believe this is a hidden gem. If you are staying at the double tree or Marriott it's walking distance just take the elevator to 9 and follow the signs. read more
