Not only is she so amazingly skilled at threading, she is so fun to talk to! We shared pictures of our children and homelands and I felt like I could talk to her forever! Faiza is like a magician. She does amazing work be it threading, wax, or tinting. Her eye lash work is impeccable and clean. She really is the best in town. The only trouble is that because she is in such high demand the wait can be exceptionally long (2 hours+). They currently don't offer appointments and her schedule varies by the day so going in is always a bit of a gamble. I only took one star off for this because part of the time burden is created by us as customers not wanting to try/trust others in the shop (there's usually 2 or 3 others standing around waiting for someone to service). That isn't in their control. Overall I would recommend and continue to hope they'll get an appointment system. read more

I got lashes and they make my eyes itch, also when removing them they ripped my lashes out bc she caked the lash glue on.

Eyes by India, located within the Crossroads Mall, has transitioned to this location, under a new name, Brown & Lash Hub. Owned by the married duo Faiza and her husband, this location aside from being in a new site, still provides excellent service. I have been loyal to Faiza for the past 4 years as she is incredibly skilled in eyebrow threading, attends to every detail, and gives consistent results every time. Aside from threading and waxing, they offer facials and eyelash extensions. I knocked down a star, because they should really offer appointments. Currently, they are walk-in only and the wait can be excessive as everyone wants only Faiza, while the other workers stand idle. The new site needs a little revamping, but since it just opened up, I expect they'll make it more inviting in the coming weeks. In sum: consistently excellent service, but definitely need to offer appointments. read more

Been going here for my eyebrows for literal years and they have always done well but today I went and specifically told the girl I like to keep the length/thickness and asked she just clean up under my eyebrows. She completely ignored what I said and made it look like I have y2k eyebrows. I went in looking for a bit of a confidence boost as I was feeling down in the dumps about myself and she made it so much worse. read more

I've never had a bad experience here but last night I went in for eyebrow threading & tint and left with worse looking eyebrows then when I came in. She acted like she didn't know what she was doing and then had another lady fix it, my eyebrows are so short now, they have hairs taken out of the middle and so it looks like I have like no eyebrows toward the end of my arch, the tint on my eyebrows wasn't left on for the 10 minutes they normally leave it on for. I left and cried in my car when you spend $25 on your eyebrows you want to leave happy. The first pic is the last time I got them done, I didn't even have to fill them in and this is the work done last night. read more

If you are okay with wasting your time to travel and sit for poor service I would advise this business. I went Monday to schedule an appointment for Wednesday and the highly requested brow/lash tech insisted no appointment needed. I returned Wednesday for service and she had 7 clients waiting. She suggested I see another tech who also had clients. Businesses that cannot accommodate the demand of the clientele is unprofessional and sets up failure for future business. If you have the time to wait for disorganization this is the place. Unfortunately this type of lack of customer service is acceptable in a small community with lack of resources to other salons that offer the same services. I will not return or refer. read more

I never leave reviews but thought it would be important this time. I usually go to a place in Grand Rapids to get my eyebrows done but thought I would give this place a try. The woman who received me was not Faiza but an older lady. I clearly told her I had been letting my eyebrows grow because they needed reshaping as they were taking a rounded shape instead of the arch I always have. The lady started working and was pulling so hard, it was almost like beating my face. Not gentle at all. Then she hands me a mirror and all I see is a little tiny thin round line as my eyebrows. I felt horrible and so upset she messed up my eyebrows in this way. I am trying not to let it ruin my day and know I will somehow fix it with makeup, but I am beyond upset for the bad services I was given at this place. read more

I went in following a referral from my friend who had AMAZING lashes. I expected the same and did not get this much. I was not asked any further details about what I wanted and quite frankly I did not know exactly what I wanted. Being my first time going to get the 2 week lash tint done, they did not educate me or help me through this process. The lady made me cry and when I was walking to the car, my lashes already started to fall off!! I am completely disgusted by this place and their lack of customer service and quality product. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! I also may have seen a few bugs in there, not very clean at all. SHUT IT DOWN. read more

This place is nice and all but if I could give it no stars, I would. I went here like 5 or 6 times to get my eyebrows threaded and each time I was barely satisfied, but after the last time I went; I most definitely won't be going back. I had what I'm guessing is a new lady and she was doing my eyebrows and everything is fine until I feel something yank my lash and I immediately jumped because it hurt. The lady doing my eyebrows said "oops" and I had brushed it off because I thought it was just the thread accidentally scraping part of my eye, but when I got to my car, I was appalled. The women threaded out part of eyelashes on each eye and said nothing, she took my money like she didn't just rip out the eyelashes on my eyes. Now, I am pissed, I can't wear makeup right now because I have no eyelashes in the middle of my eyelid and it makes mascara clump to my lash line. If I had enough balls to go back in there and raise hell, I would have. Definitely wouldn't go if you want less than average threaded brows and your eyelashes ripped out. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more
