The kind woman who did my threading was the reason for a one star review. She did a wonderful job and had a gentle touch. Sadly, this is where the positives of this place ends for me. I waited over 30 minutes for my name to be called. The sign in sheet system was not organized. Two women who came after me were called back to get their threading done before me. Once I brought this to the attention of one of the women she made a sorry excuse that they probably signed up and left but then came back. Then a sorry "Oh you'll be next up." THAT IS NOT THE POINT. January 27 2021 this place had just open back up due to COVID-19 restrictions. However knowing that it was the first day back open it could have been more organized regarding signing in. As I was talking with others that were waiting a good suggestion would be try passing numbers out instead of having people sign in because there's too many people with the same first name so you don't know who is who. However there was one lady working all day which was understandable due to the short notice of opening back up.however I forgot her name but her cashier info is MA0520! So, It was a busy day for them which is why we made a reservation for the next up... So I had went to the next store over "Tilly" just strolling by wasting time, 25 minutes go by and I get a notification of me being next, so I rush over there which is only a store away not even 1 minutes of me trying to get there and they moved me further down the list because they claimed they called but when I arrived at the front desk giving them my name, they were just ignoring me and called the next up... I had to stand there for five minutes to get there attention with them realizing that they mess up moving me back in the list saying sorry but yet I had to wait another 20 minutes!!! read more

So I have been going to this place for 10 years. I absolutely love it usually when I see my usual girl, Juanita, who is amazing and kind and does a fantastic job, but today I went and saw a different person who was very sweet and she did a fantastic job BUT I know for a fact I bought a package of 4 sessions on June 1st and I have only been to get my eyebrows done TWICE since then and I was told today that I didn't have any more sessions. She said "you probably just forgot." Not only do I KNOW I have only been 2 times since June 1st I almost always tell my friends I'm getting my eyebrows done (I found it twice in texts) and I always post on Instagram when I get them done. Twice since June 1st. There needs to be a better way of keeping track of this because I paid cash and I have no other way to prove it but this just seems so wrong. I paid for 1 session today since she said I didn't have any left and even though I've been going here for 10 years I am going to find a new place to get threaded after this experience. read more

I called before coming here, the women on the phone confirmed the location & services. I was told I can come in today for an eyebrow threading. I arrived, signed in, sat down & waited. Prior to today, I have been very satisfied with the services I've received here. However, I believe you can tell a lot about a business by the way they handle a dissatisfied customer. I'm also not new to brow hair removal. There's always a little pain or discomfort, and I am fine with that, normally. Not today. I've never had the girl who attempted to do my brows before today. Every time she used the thread, it felt like one long, excruciating pinch on my skin, and she was much slower than the other girls I've had before, which drew out the pain of the hair removal. It was so painful, I had to stop her mid-service. Over an hour later, and the skin under my brows is still stinging. When I told her we we're finished because she had hurt me, she had nothing to say. No apology, no reason why she did a horrible job... just looked at me. The only thing she told me was that I was out of services. I definitely did not buy another brow package. I told the other girl who was there that I'd been hurt during the service. She had nothing to say, either. So, results and levels of service vary at this place. I wish I'd have thought to ask the girl's name, but I was just focused on making her stop hurting me, and getting out of the shop. I will go back to waxing after this... less chance of this amount of pain. read more

Love this place. My eyebrows are...challenging. And hair removal is not an occasional splurge for me. Thanks to my Eastern European roots, it's a regular requirement. So while spa days are nice, I need frequent hair removal to prevent monobrow and moustache. Add to that the fact that my skin i sensitive, and you've got yourself a serious task. It took me nearly a year to realize Brow Art was so close to home. I'd been hoping to find a place for threading since i'm still afraid of laser hair removal. Threading is so much easier on the skin than depilatories or waxing. How the practitioners can shape a brow using nothing but a length of thread impresses me. Here at Brow Art, they are quick but thorough and did a great job shaping my brows. They got out the scissors to finish the work, and I was pleased. Threading the lip is not very pleasant, but it's no worse than waxing. Best of all, my skin doesn't get as red and there are no bumps as there are with chemicals or wax. Also, this place is inexpensive. It's just $23 for eyebrows and lip. But if you buy a membership, you pay $65 for six sessions. As often as I need the services, that's a great deal. I will definitely be a regular there. I only wish I'd discovered it sooner. read more

I love this place. Tried them out of desperation only because my normal gal was under the weather. Amazing how great of shape they can get. More control with the string than wax. I got a very young girl who seemed shy and uncertain. I have blonde hair so we picked a light brown for my brows. after she put the henna on, it was very dark but she said it's always that way, even the blonde shade, and would lighten when rubbed off. When it was time to wipe it down, it remained very dark. she wouldn't charge me for it but it was a complete waste of time. Now I have black brows and have to figure out how to lighten them before I leave on vacation in a few days. Cannot recommend this place!!! read more

5 stars for Juanita! Juanita is the best threader I have ever had. My eyebrow hair is fine and doesn't grow back quickly, so when I get threaded I am so particular. I will not go to anyone else, anywhere else- and I used to get threaded in OC or LA, Juanita just happens to be in the desert. My experience with her threading (eyebrows, chin, upper/Lower lip, neck, etc.) has been painless, almost relaxing to where I could take a nap! With most threaders I have had to ask them to go back and get missed spots. Not one time, ever with Juanita. I think I tried that shit once out of habit and it just was a fuzz ball haha. I am always so pleased with her work, and every time I leave I wonder why I waited so long (I'm lazy) to go and see her.Call before you go in and ask for Juanita. Sometimes she is on the second level at the actual store and other times she is on the first level at the kiosk. You will not regret entrusting her with the defining feature of your face (no big deal). read more

So before discovering this place years ago, I had gotten my eyebrows overly waxed and no matter how long I would wait to let them get done again it seemed like they were never the same full eyebrows I had before and I can truly say that Juanita is the best and I don't trust anyone else but her. She somehow has managed to help my eyebrows become full and the shape I want them again, she is amazing and listens to what I ask her to do. Not only that but she has also recommend products to help my brows regrow and also recommended certain tips when threading to help my brows grow out (ex: barely threading around my bald spot to help grow out the hair but also not leaving it all messy and hairy) however, because she is amazing at her job she does have quite a bit of a wait time, which I never mind waiting because of her amazing work. read more

Yay third time here and I finally gave in to the membership which makes a lot of sense to do since I'm here once a month. It's only 35$ for 3 visit, instead of 15$ each visit which is 45$. Whatever it makes sense to me so I did it. I found out about this place because a worker Dahlia liked my eyebrows and wanted to work on them and told me to come here she was the first to ever do them. This last time I came Rajesh did my eyebrows and it was super fast and I liked her confidence when she said "okay you're done" compared to some nail salons that ask if "I like them". She even knew my eyebrows had a cowlick and trimmed them for me without asking so it's obvious she k ones what she's doing. I trust her and Dahlia now awesome people. read more

I noticed lots of disappointed reviewers. I have been coming here for years and have seen their location move from downstairs to upstairs to the other side of the mall. I have waited up to 45 minutes to get just the right girl so, I get it. I wish I could give more stars. I go about once a month and you get a feel for who is better at it. I'll continue coming here because I like threading better than waxing. I wish that all the girls were more consistently experienced. When you get a really good threader, it is amazing and well worth the wait. You will be disappointed if it is rushed. Juanita was very sweet and Rajesh is very thorough. So I went in yesterday around 6:30 because I was getting my glasses so I figured I needed to get a clean up. So I walked in and there was one employee and she was working on someone, understandable. BUT what I didn't like was I was just standing there like an idiot thinking she was going to say "I'll be with you soon" "welcome" "have a seat" nothing. Hello? Heard of a thing called customer service? So I walked to the counter found the sign in and had a seat. (Btw the employee still hasn't said a word to me) Then 10 mins passes and another girl walks in and the employees greets her and everything. Okay???? So am I invisible or what? I ended up leaving, for the price they charge ($15 for eyebrows and in Orange County it's always around $7) they should be a little more friendly and not be biased on the customers that walk in. This was the lady with a tattoo on her upper arm. I'd rather take my $15 plus tip to a high end salon, at least they'll acknowledge me. read more

I went in today to have just my cheeks and sideburns threaded. Although the girl was sweet and friendly, she had no business threading the public until she became more experienced and improved her skill. I have been getting threaded for 6 years and have had many threaders so I know what to expect and what not to. The girl who serviced me was very slow and pressed the thread so hard against my face that it left me with welts and scrapes. I had to go home and put ice and Neosporin cream on because my face felt like it was on fire! That was about 6 hours ago and the welts are still very visible, I will definitely have some scabbing :( Next time I will just make the 2 hour round trip to my regular threader who never leaves my face red, scraped or in pain. read more

Okay let me just say this is one of the BEST places in the valley to get your eyebrows done. Fast service, fair prices, and almost anyone you get is good. Santi did my brows today and she did marvelous threading, a quick trim, and a ended with soothing witch hazel and aloe. $15 for one session, or $32 for a basic member ship of 3 sessions a month. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone looking for a good threading session. read more
