Best City Nails is such a great place to get your nails done! Everything in the salon is clean and sanitary, which immediately makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they really take the time to make sure you're taken care of. Their pedicure setup is amazing--brand new chairs that make the whole experience feel luxurious. The massage is especially relaxing and definitely one of the best I've had. I had my nails done by Coachella, and I wanted more toward a detailed design service. Mai did a fantastic job. She was patient, took her time, and carefully recreated the design I wanted. This was my first time getting my nails done at this location. It was a positive experience since I had a 10:30am appointment; however, arrived earlier and they were able to accommodate me. Although the chairs are older everything was clean and well maintained. Everyone is very friendly at Best City Nails. The price was excellent as well, I typically spend more at a hometown nail salon. Lily is the best nail tech I've ever had. She really learns what you like and remembers so you don't have to remind her every time. She has been doing my nails for over 15 years and I'm always a satisfied customer. If for any reason I don't like something or want to make a change she never minds and is happy to accommodate me. She knows how I like my gel (short) nails, and how I like my acrylic (long) nails. I choose 3 or 4 colors and tell her and Tina to pick. Lily is the best at acrylic and really takes her time to make sure your nails match in length and *your fingers aren't crooked* . She'll respect if you like your quiet time or if you like to talk she's pretty funny and provides a good listening ear and is so kind. Make an appointment because she is a very busy lady but *does accept walk ins*. She is quick and efficient but very thorough. The salon overall is clean and upbeat. They have tv, music, and (although older) nice massage chairs that work. If you want to listen to a certain music they are happy to put it on for you. And provided they have the staff, if you're in a bit of a hurry they sometimes do your nails while you get your pedi. Overall give best city a shot. Requested a mani/pedi online and they responded this morning where i made an appointment at 10 and they had me in the chair at 10. I was warmly greeted with a smile by the nicest young man who gave me an excellent service and the foot massage had me nodding. Regular combo came to $52 which I thought was very reasonable. Made an appointment for 2 pedicures, once we arrived wait was short, and they started at the exact same time, which is nice. My pedicure was rushed, gel was not painted on fully so it began to chip away the next day. My husband's pedicure with no polish was about 10 minutes longer, but $20 cheaper. The elderly customer next to me asked for a particular color, but they ignored her after she alerted them multiple times that wasn't the color she chose. She's been bugging me for years to do a pedicure. Finally decided I'd give it a try. Tina took care of my feet, and she and my wife talked me into waxing my ear hairs. Yes I have hairy ears... Avoid this place!! Made an appointment for 4 people to get acrylic nails. The color on my nails is bubbling and peeling off!! My daughters nails broke off the next day. The young girl who did her nails didn't even add powder to her nails! Her set alone was $85, total of $305. The young lady named Lily gave me attitude I wasn't paying by a cash app. Don't know why, she didn't even service any of us. I paid by debit and left a $45 because the length and paint of my daughter's nails but I didn't realize she only painted the fake nail without adding the acrylic!! Ask for Sydney (I think that's how she spells it). The place was really clean including the tools, gloves, cart and chairs. They have plexus glass and there are good social distancing in place. All staff had masks on (above their nose!), I felt really Good about being there. Sydney took her time and stressed the importance of doing a good job because business is so important right now. She worked at a great pace, didn't skip a step and was extremely polite and sweet. My nails came out great! I have been going there for years and always had great service. It's been a few years when I went recently. My daughter and I went last week. We had an appointment, but had to wait, which was not a big deal. However, they took us each separately. I man the same lady did my nails, and then hers... so our appointment was not honored at all. I was not given the color choice I wanted. The technician pretty much made me keep her choice. My nails also chipped within two days. I got a pedicure today from this salon and the woman kept talking in her native tongue and wouldn't shut up, my guess is she was talking about us and she kept turning away to talk to her peers. Rude behavior, it wouldn't bother me so much if she did a great job and got my calluses off my heels however not even close!
