One thing that really pisses me off is when there is a lack of customer service. Every single employee forgets or simply does not want to greet any of their customers. I do not like this act of ignoring potential clients. A simple ''Hello'' will suffice. But no, instead I'm greeted by ladies having their back turned towards me and an empty register. I honestly did not have the slightest idea of what to do. It is not common sense to walk up on your own accord and sign your sign then proceed to sit down and wait for your turn. This is the actual scenario I've been dealing with more 4 times already. It would greatly help if someone were to instruct new visitors on what to do because it is already pretty uncomfortable as it is just walking in without any eye contact or welcoming gesture. My sister has been getting here brows threaded over the past year and she's liked the results so far. She has been getting them done by the lady with that blue-teal hair dye. I haven't seen her since a few months ago. We went back recently and she got them done by the older lady- I am going to take a while guess and say its the lady Rajesh. It was not the young girl with glasses. Anyway this time, she still liked the outcome but I noticed that there was no trimming involved. The lady with teal hair would always shape them with near perfection and she would always trimmed. I liked that she knew what she was doing. She even cleaned up the messy hair fallout around my sister's face. Overall, I would not mind taking my sister here and paying the full $15 for this but I'd love it if that teal lady could come back. The place seems nice enough and there was no line when I went in on a Sunday afternoon. Had been really excited to start getting my eyebrows threaded again. The older lady saw me and pointed me to a chair. I told her I just needed my brows done.... I had recently waxed my lip like 2 days before. She sucked her teeth and asked, u sure no lip? Yes I'm sure. I told her that I wanted her to keep my eyebrows full and that I liked a fuller look. I got a really thin brows that looked exactly like hers. Exactly what I didn't want. I now have to wait 3 to 6 months for them to grow back, just really disappointed. Do not go to the older lady with thin brows if u do not want your brows to look like hers!!! read more

I have been looking for a good threading place since moving here. Went over to House of Beauty where there was one person threading and six people waiting. I called before I went over and asked if there was a wait was told there was not. She was working hard but did not have time to wait. Worked out well found threading at the mall. I always saw this place and I had never threaded my eyebrows before. I've been curious about trying this place out for a while. I went in today and saw several people sitting down, waiting I guess. When I walked in nobody greeted me it felt awkward. So I went up to the register to get some information and there were two young ladies that were just chatting and I was standing there waiting for one of them to greet me or say how they can assist me but no, that didn't happen. I was waiting for them to notice me standing there but they didn't stop talking to each other. I felt ridiculous and left. That answered my question about the service. Not a good first impression. I walked into the location at Westfield Palm Desert and signed in and sat down. I waited for 30 minutes while the two women helped other people behind me in line. Once I finally mentioned that I had been waiting, one of the women said she'd help me soon WITH ATTITUDE AND THEN WENT TO THE BACK TO TALK TO HER COWORKER FOR 5 MINUTES WHILE ME AND 6 OTHER PEOPLE WERE WAITING. I walked out when I heard them conversing and went to the kiosk on the lower level. I waited there for an additional 30 minutes and this lady was even more rude than the previous two. I got my brows done here and they were amazing!! The girl made my brows look perfect and the best part was it was painless!! Usually it will hurt but she had a soft technique and I didn't feel a thing. FYI, My brows were extremely Bushy. When it comes to my brows I'm very picky who touches them because I've had some bad experience in the past. When I first got there it was busy and there was a bit of a wait which is fine, I rather see a place busy then see no one in there ( it shows customers come back). I have used this threading service many times. Over all I have been satisfied! However Monday July 25th at 5:30 I went to the kiosk downstairs. I got in quickly. What should have been a easy reshape and clean up grown in hair turned out Tara butchered my full eyebrows! Tara burned my skin and the shape is off on both sides and made my brows skinny when all she had to do was clean up what I've been working on with a pretty much perfect arch! She told me there's nothing she could do but I didn't have to pay! Well that's for sure! I went upstairs to make complaint with manager and not available. I left crying and upset! Tara needs to be fired... They gave me a number to call for complaints... I really don't want to come back! I bought a package and really want my money back! Tara burned and shredded my hair on eyebrows! I want answers why this girl is working at this place! Go back to beauty school cuz you failed and hurt a client! When the other girl who has been there since we showed up is done my sister goes to get in the chair some other lady says wait wait i'm next i say no we are on the list the girl confirms were are next they make up some bogus excuse they didn't sign up until after us and blah blah blah so the girl take the other lady over my sister and says oh it will be a few minutes . What the heck this is the worst service possible i got the 6 month membership in December and this is my fist time to use it , i guess this is the way they do business if you have a membership they skip you because they already made money off you so f''k you.
