Best pedicure and full set I've gotten in the desert and I've been to a lot of salons. My mom and I went in for pedicures and manicures. My mom does not like polish, only a buff and shine and she was so happy! They were so clean, shiny, and neat. Ivy did an amazing job on both my mom's manicure and pedicure! Jay did my pedicure and he was so kind and helpful with helping me pick a color for my gel. Holly did my full builder gel almond nails with french tip and gold chrome. I first booked for TAP as I wanted to stop using acrylic but holly is incredibly knowledgeable and helped me decide on builder gel based on my person nail health and nail goals. They have so many incredible techniques and are great at explaining the overall health and application of each one before deciding. We won't go anywhere else anymore! They should receive six Yelp stars not just five -- yes, my experience today was really that good. I easily made an appointment using their online reservation tool. I booked a regular manicure and a deluxe pedicure. My technician was Diana. Today she did it again so I called the shop to see if someone else could possibly do it. I'm bery picky but willing to take the risk because I have an important engagement and need a fill. She was beyond rude and when I asked when could she fit me in she said I have to go I have another phone call and hung up on me. I've been a loyal customer for over 3 years and to be treated this way is unacceptable! I have spoke to a few of her previous customers and they left because of the same reason. Very Satisfied Customer I went with Glossy Nails in PD because of the great reviews ..so here is mine..., My first time there I booked Chloe because the reviews mentioned her and she did my PRIDE nails with pokadots..Went off a picture I took and her technique and skill, amazing! One month later my nails grew out half way and there was no LIFT...I wanted to keep them on the design was so nice and complimented by many. Today my second time there Chloe was not available (which the owner I believe is the one that reached out to me a few days before hand great communication) so She did my nails. I came in with a picture again of the color and design, she did a better job then the picture (palm Trees) Aloha design.. If You are looking for a place that does quality work...Pick this place..My normal nail gal (I feel like a cheat) wasnt available last month and hence me going to Glossy Nails.. Ladies!!! You know how difficult it is to find a salon or even a nail tech, home or business and when you find one that does quality work (so does my normal nail gal she just lives farther away from where I Live(DHS) you want to keep going back, especially when nails are not the old $25 full set that they used to be 20 years ago ...we spend so much money on vanity, hair nails, face, body...I will say you wont be disappointed with Glossy Nails.. their prices are very fair...Normal fill with design will cost on average 55-75.00 Depending on the product and design. I have an incredible experience here, and I have to give a huge shout-out to Jay! If you are looking for someone who truly takes pride in their work, he is your guy. What impressed me most was his attention to detail. He doesn't rush through the process at all. He took the time to make sure every nail was shaped perfectly and the polish was absolutely flawless. It's rare to find a technician who is that precise and focused on the little things that make a big difference in the final look. I have been going here for dip nails for the past few months so i have some knowledge on their company. Aesthetics: I really like the small and put together salon as a teenager it is very attractive to me when salons are well maintained, clean, and have minimal tvs. Quality of service : the first time i came in the nail lady told me my dip nails were really thick and she totally made them way more delicate, sharp, and natural looking. Pricing: prices are very reasonable also the techs don't have many skills for more difficult designs. Overall i like going here, the only down side is their skills for design work but otherwise i will be going again i love it there! read more

I called to get it fixed and went in and was treated like crap because I broke a nail. So unprofessional. I was very uncomfortable. To top it off I was charged $10 for their service. I'm really disappointed with my experience and the outcome of my nails. I had really high expectations, especially being referred to by two of my close friends. I scheduled an apt specifically with Chloe for a gel x manicure and did not see her today. I was put with someone else and they did not exceed my expectations whatsoever. My hands look completely different. The shape, length, and quality is inconsistent with each and every nail. There was no cuticle clean up or prep. They slapped on some gel x tips that didn't fit my natural nails correctly and the polish looks sloppy. The nails on my left hand are lifted and have gapping between my natural nail and the nail tip. So much that I can fit a coin/toothpick between them. My right hand has so much glue that's suck to my skin. I went straight home after my apt and soaked these nails off. I paid $75 for this set and tipped the nail tech $15 besides being unhappy with the outcome. The staff is friendly and did offer me water. Hopefully in the future if I decide to return I see the tech I request and leave with a better set. read more
