When we arrived we were greeted. The lady was very personable. We did not have to wait long to be serviced. She was knowledgeable about the services and navigating the mall once we left. My mother and I both had our eyebrows threaded. It was fast and precise. I got Hannah tinted and threaded mom was just threaded. Everything turned out great. Mom really likes the threading because it doesn't leave the red wax mark. Also her dermatologist recommend threading over waxing and as harsh. Idk how you would let a customer leave with half of the eyebrow done. Also left brow hair all over my forehead after wiping at the end. My eyebrows are two different shapes and just look bad. The lady also wasn't busy, kept door closed with sign flipped saying come back soon. Shopped around for two hours repeatedly coming back to see if she was open. If you've ever gotten your eyebrows threaded, then you know the pain I go through about every 3 weeks. That's one of the nice things about it, it lasts a while , much longer than waxing. It is quite painful though. I get small scabs a few days later. But beauty is pain right? They do a great job threading my eyebrows and they also offer threading of almost any body part you desire. They're also quite fast, I'm usually in and out in 10 minutes and just $12 out of my wallet. They don't allow food in the shop and don't sit on the couch if you can help it. There are so many things wrong with this place. You would expect a minimum level of service and standard at a place inside the MOA. This place never opens io time, the wait is ridiculous and more importantly, the service is subpar not to mention I was denied a receipt when asked for one. The wait is very long because there is only one employee for 10 customers waiting. It's ridiculous that they don't have enough employees especially because it is a mall and would generally be busy. Well, to make a long story short by far the most unprofessional threading establishment I've ever experienced. The lady was so rough I literally cried and my pain tolerance is well over tolerable. The thread popped because she was being so ROUGH. I politely asked if someone else could finish and she just happen to be the only person working. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded well over 7 years and this experience was horrific. Not to mention my eyebrows look atrocious literally distressed lines. Minnesota doesn't do eye brow threading!?! This is the first place I have been able to find since moving to this state that does authentic eye brow threading! I love eye brow threading because it is less pain and irritation. Your eye lids are an extremely delicate area on the face so I am less inclined to get it ripped off. They do an OK job here but it's only $12 whereas some places in Minnesota are $30!! $30 for eyebrow threading!? I used to pay only $7 in Chicago! I've been here once before and my experience was okay. Not terrible but not wonderful either. It was "eh" and the lady who worked on my brows was nice enough. I stopped by this place since I was at the MOA and let's face it, it's so convenient. The lady working was on her cellphone when I walked in but she finished her conversation soon after and helped me. I've gotten my brows threaded multiple times in the past so I'm a little familiar with the drill (and thus prepared for the pain level). She got prepped and began threading. It was FREAKIN' painful. I've never had threading this painful before and that includes my first time. She was so rough, manhandling my brows, swatting my hands away and repositioning them. This lady. After she was done, my brows looked nice but they were super tender. It helped that she slathered a ton of aloe Vera gel on. I washed my face that night and it was still tender. Yikes lady. HORRIBLE, TO NOT GO HERE. I was at the Mall of America and needed to get my eyebrows done and this was the first store I saw for eyebrow threading. I told the worker that I only wanted her to do a clean up. She proceeded to take my whole right eyebrow arch off!!! After I noticed that there were still eyebrow hairs she had missed. We have been in twice (went back to give them another try before deciding what we think) the one and only lady that has ever been there doesn't spend any time doing it. Takes about 2 minutes to do them and doesn't even bother to dust the hair off your face. At another brow shop they have been working to get my arch higher and this lady completely made the brow flat and one is shorter than the other. Not impressed. I've never had my brows threaded before and wanted to try it. First of all, it hurts kind of like getting a tattoo kinda hurt: They are basically ripping out your eyebrow hairs several at a time, but it happens so quick that it's over before you realize what happened. I recommend taking Advil or something before to take the edge off. It literally took less than 10 mins. for my brows to be threaded. They look great. About 20 mins. afterward, my skin (where threaded) became really red and puffy. It lasted about 2 hours. There was only one employee and one person waiting, so I got right in. It's weird that when you pay by credit card and you leave a tip they run your card twice. I recommend paying with cash. I think if you can get there when slow it's a quick, inexpensive, painful, but satisfying experience. read more

Let's just say I have been coming here for the past seven year! I moved to three different states and I have not found anyone who get perfect my eyebrows like Perfect brow Art! I go here if I need my brows done in a pinch. I've had bad experiences here - one time, they pulled out my EYE LASHES rather than my eyebrow - Ouch. It hurt. Usually, it will be good. I am editing this review. I used to give it three stars, but I am giving it 5 now. This is because the quality of the service has really improved. I've been a customer here for several years, and it is one of the only threading places that is very cost friendly ($12 for brow threading!). I've been here multiple times and my eyebrows would look good but the last time I went here the lady was on her phone and when I would ask a question she would look at me, nod, and keep doing what she was doing instead of answering my question. The last time I was there when she was talking on the phone one brow looked higher than the other and also one was longer than the other. CAUTION: Do not use your debit card at this location. I used mine and they duplicated the magnetic strip on my card and went shoe shopping and made gas purchases on my card. I used to get my brows done in a fancy spot,plush interior,suave customer service etc was in a hurry to get my brows done one day, went to brow art and bam my brows were looking amazing in a minute for a fraction of my usual cost. I used to go here but about 3months ago that was the last time I went. Let me just say the lady was so rude. And they way she threaded was absolutely HORRIBLE. My sister and myself both got ours done and we ended up with our eyebrows being threaded and our skin too. We thought they were just red until I looked closer and they were actually bleeding!!! Clean, fast, painful but good! I found a few stray hairs afterwards so went back and the lady did it again and again but the lady time maybe too much because my skin has a little cut on it now. She was fast and efficient and although it hurt like crazy I'm glad it was fast! I wanted to get my eyebrows done while I was at the mall and when I got there the lady said she had other people before me so I was fine with it and she said then she's going for break so I said ok that's fine I'll wait here and she said I can't and she's gonna close the doors which was weird because she didn't even let me wait inside while others were still getting eyebrows done and she didn't have anymore customers just me so she could've just waited to take her break . Come for pretty and speedy eyebrows, but don't come here expecting anything remotely resembling good costumer service. I've been here twice. First time, I was nervous about putting my precious brows in the hands of someone new. No time to even be worried once I got there: She just about pushed me onto the chair and proceeded to thread. No consultation, no walking-me-through the new process, no small talk. Nothing. 2 minutes later (she was super speedy) she hands me the mirror; I was terrified to look. My eyebrows never looked better. She actually made some small talk when I went to pay and complimented my brows. 2nd time I had a different lady. If I thought the first one had bad people skills, this one made her look like Employee of the Month. She "acknowledged" my presence with a quick glance, then made a phone call. She finally walked towards the chair and so I had to guess it was my turn. She ACTUALLY pushed me into the chair and instead of talking to me (they seemed to hate talking, period) she would grab my hands and roughly put them on my face to help with the process. Took about 6 minutes and she was so rough her thread broke 3 times. She made me push down my eyelid so hard my eyeballs hurt like crazy and my vision was all blurry for a bit. When she was done, she handed me the mirror and walked away to the register. Not a "What do you think?" " How do those look?" Nothing. Once again, my brows looked great, but my forehead was bleeding a bit, my make up was all messed up and my face was covered in loose brows. By this time I was borderline pissed. I took my sweet time while she waited impatiently by the register to try to fix my makeup (this is in a Mall! She was sending me out to walk in public looking like a hungover hooker with a 5 o'clock shadow) and wipe the hair off with a tissues that I had to go and get myself from her station. When I came to pay, she did not even look at me nor spoke to tell me how much I owed. I handed over my card and , needless to say, I did not tip. Being in the beauty industry myself, I would change a TON of things about the way the brow artists handle their costumer service and simply a much needed consultation. It takes a lot for me not to tip a fellow artist. Still, they do deliver pretty brows. So, just be warned :) read more

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for around a year now, and this was the worst experience I have had. I sat down in the chair and I started to tell her what I wanted and she wouldn't listen, telling me to lean back because she was going to start. She was going so quick, not stopping at all to see if I liked it. Then as she finished my eyebrows she started to try and thread a different part of my face. I proceeded to tell her no, and then she just mocked me and said "oh just the eyebrows, just eyebrows." After she was finished, she handed me the mirror, and I started to look in it and she snapped at me telling me they looked fine. I should have told her I was still going to check, but it caught me so off guard that I just got out of the chair and proceeded to the counter to pay.
