SCAM. Booked a mom's getaway package for this weekend. Stacey calls me the day before and says she is having problems with the hotel (Radisson Blu) and will need to do our services at JcPenney...? So I try and call the spa and no one answers. We were at the mall so we tried just going to the spa to talk to someone. That's when the hotel told us laughing waters spa is no longer with them because they had issues. So it's a scam! We booked this a month in advance and they never told us it wasn't at the location listed. Even got text and email confirmations with the address for Radisson blu. Scam. Not sure what type of services we would have even got. read more

Awful! Highway robbery! Was quoted one price on the phone for couples massage- was quoted another price that included 30 Mon facial for each of us. Well we get there we get the massage - tells us we need to come back for the facial - then my husband decided he did not need one so she asked me if I wanted an hour long one - NEVER did an extraction just kept applying layer after layer of product - then when it came time to check out - they asked my husband if he wanted to tip he said 20 percent for the service and so then I looked at the receipt later and they had charged me $185 for this facial on top of massage not even close to quoted price - then the cashier put an extra tip on there for the same lady for the second service Very shady and weird Do not recommend - after we went out into the mail and saw other more reasonable places read more

OVERPRICED, SMALL AND UNDERWHELMING FACILITY. Unfortunately, this was worst "spa" experience I have ever had!!! This is simply a place to get an overpriced and mediocre massage. When I see the word "spa", I expect a level of ambiance and amenities. The waiting area is simply a couple chairs, similar to a what you would see at a beauty salon waiting room. They describe their robes as plush, but they are simply tight fitting (I wear a medium and even the extra AND extra large sizes run small) and also slightly see through. They are simply a tool to cover your bits so you can get from one room to another. The locker room is extremely small with one shower, (and is NOT a steam room as they state). The staff was kind, but it's the amenities and relaxation that you truly look for and want to experience at a "spa", and trust me, you will NOT find that here. The pricing on their website states $225 for a 90 minute massage...but BEWARE they will be adding a 20% service charge automatically without telling you...and they will not give your money back if you have an issue. Worst experience of my life. It was so bad I am disputing the charges with my credit card company. I will try and keep this short, but the list is long and it's ALL bad. My friend and I booked a massage for 11:00am as we had a long flight and couldn't check into the hotel until 3:00pm and thought a 2 hour massage would be a great way to kill the time. Their website showed they opened at 10:00am and so we headed over early to hit the steam room. We waited 20 minutes at the front desk, called the front desk twice, and no one came. Eventually we made it to the change room. Because no one was around, and we were exhausted from the flight we saw no harm in changing and showering. Perhaps we should have waited but we had limited time before our massage and we really wanted to steam. The shower had a broken soap dispenser and an empty shampoo dispenser. The toilet in the mens bathroom had a large crack in the seat that made it impossible to use without pinching. There was also no toilet paper. When we emerged from the shower the lady was angry that had gone ahead and showered, and maybe rightly so. I explained that I had phoned and waited. I even left a message on their machine. We proceeded to have a short 10 minute steam as we had to wait forever to get in and our steam time was lost and then sat in the waiting room for our massage. We waited for another 15 minutes past our appointment time before being taken in to our respective rooms. My massage was performed by Garys. He started me lying face up (which is the first time I have ever started my massage face up). He started by massaging my neck. His pressure was light, too light. To be clear I asked for lighter pressure, so at this point he is just doing what he has been asked. I requested more pressure. His massage technique was all thumbs. He would do small circles with his thumbs over whatever muscle he was working. So, when I asked for an increase in pressure, it would only last a few seconds. I would then have to ask again. Typically during a massage the pain is enough to feel uncomfortable, but good. His massage was so light I fell asleep, numerous times. Gary insisted on waking me up every ten minutes to ask me another stupid question about my life even when I ignored him a couple times. When it was time to roll over, he simply turned away leaving me to fumble and bumble with the blanket and the sheet while simultaneously trying to roll over and scoot up the table. It was awful. The room had no music, just a loud A/C that cranked on and off in 10-15 minute cycles. My massage ended exactly at 1Pm even though we paid for a 2 hour massage and it started 20 minutes late. My friends massage wasn't any better. Stacey the one who performed the massage outright refused to massage his feet or upper quads. Her long braided hair constantly falling on him during the massage as it was not tied up. No music in his room either. It also ended early. This place is a joke of a spa. The $20 chairs in the mall will give you a better experience. When we voiced our complaints and asked for a reasonable discount to be applied, we were accused of "trying to get a free massage". We expressed all of our concerns above and were met with rudeness and hostility. $570 USD for this is a joke. I wouldn't pay $50 but offered to pay half of the bill. Save yourself the money and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Unprofessional, lacking amenities, poor quality... It's all bad here. read more

I've been going to Laughing Waters for three years now. I've had wonderful results with range of motion and pain issues. I would describe the massages as therapeutic. If you have knots or stiffness give Laughing Waters a try. I also recently had my first ever facial there. I'm a typical guy who never spent any effort on skin care, so it was an interesting experience. It feels wonderful to have someone take care of you and address something we all care about, our own faces! If you've never had a facial I highly recommend trying one. read more

my experience with this spa was superb. the attention to detail and the services were great. I got a 90 minutes massage with Stacy and she is the best. I needed to relax and I am returning to New York feeling great. the spa is pacious, cleaned and with a relax feeling. definitely recommended. read more

Laughing Waters Spa provides wonderful massages and facials. I met therapist Stacey when she worked in Bloomington and still see her even though it's an hour's drive for me. The spa also offers teeth whitening and eyelash extensions which I haven't tried yet. read more
