Unfortunately, since he left, the quality of care has gone downhill -- especially with Nurse Practitioner Amber Campbell. I recently lost my medical insurance but still needed my routine medications, so I paid $200 cash for a simple medication refill appointment. Amber was unprofessional, dismissive, and failed to provide my usual two refills -- something I've consistently received for years. She didn't even notify me that she was changing this, leaving me without the refills I depend on and forcing me to pay another $200 if I need a new prescription. I didn't find out I had no more refills till I went to call in a refill. It was a mess! This isn't the first negative experience I've had with Amber, but this one was unacceptable. It feels like this office has completely shifted its focus away from patient care and toward pushing their cash-only med spa services. When I brought up legitimate perimenopause concerns, I was told that Dr. Briggs doesn't allow NPs to prescribe medication for hormonal issues and that I'd have to go through their med spa instead -- which is both inappropriate and unethical. I've been loyal to this office for nearly a decade, but I'm done. I feel taken advantage of, dismissed, and left scrambling for basic medical care. Unless this practice re-centers on patient care and professionalism, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a provider who actually values their patients.

Do NOT use this person. She does not stand behind her work. Her finished product looks nothing…read morelike her business cards indicate it will. She is not able to properly correct her work and has an extreme lack of self awareness. She will not issue a refund, makes excuses and will blame you for her shortcomings instead of simply doing the right thing to either reasonably fix the problem or provide a refund. There aren't many reviews of her recently and that should have been a red flag. On her own website, she only keeps the favorable reviews. Of note: She will show you pictures (which look ok because these are pictures taken RIGHT after her application). What she doesn't show you are the pictures taken 2-6 weeks after application (which can be how long it takes to see the undesirable results). The "permanent" color doesn't last in each area, her lines are not straight and the the work doesn't look natural. I typically don't leave Yelp reviews (good or bad). However, in this case, I'm compelled to speak out. Avoid her at all costs.

I went to the follow-on appt, and that one has done much better in terms of it taking. However, the lines were not sleek -I'll post more pics eventually. Now, the big issue is SHE NICKED ME! I was fairly numb when it happened, but it was obvious that the pressure she was applying accidentally fell off the upper eyelid and hit the skin just under my eye with the needle. She then proceeded to use her nail to try to dig the spot off which left more of a red mark there until it healed, and what do ya know, I've got this tattoo under my eye that looks like mascara was smudge there. I tried to look into laser tattoo removal, but the places I got a consult from said it was too near my eye. I had a heck of a time trying to get Elise to address it because it was during the holiday season, so scheduling was difficult, (but it felt like she was pushing me off.) At first she said something about opening up the skin in the area to get the ink out (which I wasn't too sure about!), but then when I saw her she offered the solution of covering it with a skin colored tattoo. I tried it, but now it looks even worse, like I've got a mole or beauty mark under my eye. I can't believe I have to live with this the rest of my life. I know, I need to update with pictures, so someday I will, but for now, consider yourself lucky to avoid having to learn things the hard way with this person the way that I have.
