I never did it before and was nervous but there were lots of good reviews on Groupon so I decided to go for it. Ana Paula's studio is located inside one of those centers with small areas for different businesses. Think barber shops, hair salons, etc. I got a bit lost trying to find her studio, but once I arrived all was well. Her setup was very nice and professional looking. She played music that was neither jarring nor would put me to sleep. :) She was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and we were on the same page with making my brows look natural. Personally I don't like the thick, "Groucho Marx" look for my brows. The threading was quick. It wasn't painless, but it wasn't as bad as waxing. Think being snapped by tiny rubber bands. She really shaped my brows, too, which is my favorite - I'm terrible at that lol, plucking is fairly easy for me. The tinting took about 10 minutes and I was very pleased with the results! The next day they looked great, and a couple weeks later I'm still liking my new brow look. It's faded a bit, but I'm fine with that. This was my first experience doing this and it was just a disaster…read more The groupon gets you a measly 10-15 lashes per eye (they tell you it's 25, and the deal says you get a "full" set). I followed their directions religiously and lost 5 lashes within 24 hours, and all fell out on their own within 1 week. It's sucks paying for something you didn't receive. I was told they would look fully natural and stay intact for up to 6-8 weeks. Many people quickly noticed them and told me they don't look natural and weren't done correctly. I can apply my own on the 3 piece strands and do strips, and it will look 100 times better than what these people did. They just take your money and have no idea what they're doing, and they are perfectly fine with doing it. Your lashes will look nothing like their sample photos. Huge dissapointment.
