If I had known how effective--and surprisingly painless--microblading could be, I would've done it much sooner. Kathy is a true expert at what she does. The procedure itself was virtually painless, and she took her time to ensure the final result looked completely natural. What was supposed to be a 1.5-hour appointment turned into a two-hour session simply because she's so meticulous and detail-oriented. I'm only two weeks out from my appointment, and I've already booked my touch-up. I think brows really frame the face and I didn't like how my eyebrows were becoming sparse with my left one thinning more. I had been curious about permanent makeup, both brows and liner, for years. I browsed online and checked out multiple artists. I read through hundreds of Yelp reviews! I did my homework and had several consults. I loved meeting Demi and she put me at ease. Demi really listened to what I wanted. She could also tell after our meeting and looking at my face what would look best on me. I was impressed by her knowledge and experience. Her salon is small, but spotless. It's located within the Sola Salon building. On the day of the treatment, Demi had booked the entire afternoon for me so she could take her time. She was very methodical. She measured my brows, sketched out an outline and asked for my approval. I started to relax at this point because I was SO nervous having never had any sort of permanent procedure. She suggested and showed me the colors she recommended. My brows were then numbed and she did both microblading and shading. I didn't feel any pain at all. After my brows were completed, Demi did my lash line eyeliner. She drew a sample line first and numbed my eyes. The procedure did not hurt, but it was more uncomfortable because it's so close to my eyeballs. :) Demi finished everything in 3 hours. She went over my after care instructions and sent me home with products to use. She was so sweet and told me to text her with any questions. The results?!! It's been 10 days and I love it! I have to admit that my brows were crazy dark the first few days. My boys were shocked. Haha. I followed Demi's aftercare instructions exactly. There were a few days of itching and flaking, but my brows are now mostly healed, a lighter color and feel good. I will see Demi in a month for a touch up. This is included and I will post more pictures then. If you're considering permanent makeup, come see Demi for a consult. She does excellent work. Plus, she's very patient and has a gentle touch.

Everyone pre-warned me that they would be super dark and swollen at first and once they scab off after a couple weeks, they will look more natural and the color will fade about 40% lighter. Thank God! Ana did such a great job. She made sure I checked in the mirror multiple times to guarantee the shape that I was happy with. Her studio is very clean and in a beautiful building by the Galleria mall. She is very friendly and just an overall sweetheart with lots of talent! It didn't hurt since she used numbing cream, but once I left I had a raging headache so I rushed across the street to CVS and bought some Tylenol and I was fine. She also gives you cool vizors to tape to your forehead when you shower to not get your eyebrows wet the first few days, and tiny containers of tattoo butter to keep them moist, and baby soap to wash them. Her rates are very reasonable considering how expensive she actually Should be (yes she's THAT good). She also has thousands of followers on IG that can vouch for her work, and her training (she teaches classes). So she's basically the best of the best!

I primarily see Kelly, though I've also had my lashes done by Kylie when Kelly is traveling, and both of them are truly amazing people. Kelly is incredibly skilled and meticulous with her work. Her hand skills are fantastic, and I have never had an issue after a session. They always look perfect. The quality of the products she uses is clearly top notch. My lashes easily last 3 weeks, and I don't hold back. I go swimming, sweat in them, and wash them regularly with lash soap, and they still look amazing every time. Beyond the technical work, Kelly is just a wonderful, down-to-earth person. We have such great conversations during my appointments. She is incredibly thoughtful and full of wisdom. It's rare to find someone you just "click" with on that level, and it makes the appointments so enjoyable. From a logistics standpoint, they are fantastic as well. They are always on time, and my appointments end exactly when scheduled. Additionally, their pricing is very reasonable. I've been to other places in the nearby area that charge significantly more for the same service. I'm so happy I found this place over 3 years ago!
