I needed to get a handicap placard for my mother and found this place which was close to home. I saw that they were also open on Saturdays which made it very convenient. I didn't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't what I walked into. It was like a mini DMV office with 2 rows of chairs, probably a total of 10. As soon as you walk in, there's a ticket dispenser to the left on the wall. There were 2 ladies working. The system calls out the next number when they're done with their current customers. If you weren't paying attention, your number is also displayed above the walk up window. There was a bit of a wait. I was 6 numbers away from being called and it was almost an hour. Once I was called up, it was a very simple process and the lady that I had was very nice. I was told that I would have to come back next week to pick it up. I've been trying to get my tag renewed since July because I ordered a personalized plate and I assumed that my tag would automatically be renewed with it. Unfortunately, this was not the case three weeks ago. I sent a check to the DMV, but I still have not received my tag. Today Michelle called me. I had sent an email yesterday to the DMV office. She was very professional very kind and very helpful. She got me set up with my tag renewal and she said she was going to send the information that my registration was up-to-date to the personalized tag place so hopefully I will be getting my plate soon. After calling about five or six different telephone numbers, including Tallahassee and not being able to speak to an individual, in addition, I tried to log onto the DMV website and it claimed my car was not on there. They are total incompetence in Tallahassee. it was very ingratiating that Michelle actually reached out to me and at the time I did not have my credit card to give her to get my tag renewed, and when I called back when I got home She helped me out. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The only thing I didn't like was the extra $24 I had to pay, but that's not on her that's on the office. She was wonderful and I highly commend her for her professionalism and her efficiency. All places of employment. should have employees like Michelle or empathetic and helpful and very generous with their time. I must share a very disappointing experience with the Broward Tag & Title agency. It's expected that the parking permits one receives should be legible and not have to stress over getting a ticket, especially when you're paying for them and will be used for the next 4 years. It's unfortunate that the associate I spoke with didn't offer to replace the defective parking permits for free, given that it was the agency's fault for providing me with a poorly printed product. I called the tag agency and spoke to a manager only to find out that I would have to pay all over again to have the tag reprinted & replaced. Seriously going to file a complaint with the appropriate regulatory agencies the BBB and seeking assistance from a consumer advocacy organization. Terrible experience. read more

The first time to get the job done, then asked to come back, only to realise that I needed to pay more as I wasn't charged for the renewal personalized lic. plate. Alyssa is simply a sweetheart, both ladies are an asset to BB&T and are out there to help. If I could give this tag agency 0 stars I would, so be grateful Yelp is being modest. Yesterday I came in to get a tag transfer. I was told to come back the following day at 5pm to pick it up, however if I wanted to pick it up early, I can call and check the status of the tag. To start, this business NEVER answers the phone. I drove all the way from Aventura during rush hour traffic and spent the entire drive calling, with no response. I finally arrive at 430, and I am told I am not allowed to pick up my tag until 6pm. Soooo why tell me to come pick it up at 5? The oversized Spanish woman with the glasses at the front desk tells me: "I would've never told you 5pm knowing the time is 6pm". My thing is: it's okay to make mistakes. nobody is perfect. However, for you to tell me you never gave me a set time the day prior, as if I just made up my own time to pick up my tag, is where the disrespect comes in at. She then calls the next number in line as I'm still trying to understand the confusion about what time the tag should be ready. Once the next person walked up & I asked her why is she dismissing me if I am not finished inquiring about my tag, she then says "since you don't want to wait, you can pick it up at 6:10 now". As if I were her child! The next spanish woman who is actually responsible for bringing the tags, was even worse, these 2 animals are racist, and because of this mistreatment I will definitely be calling the BBB to further investigate this matter. read more
