Time to go and 20 walk ins still in line. Nobody reads list of required documents and only one employee handling all incoming. Bottleneck ! Once you get your ticket it moved rather normal. Your turn, your reviewed and approved, and then sent to another line to pay. Then you get to wait outside in heat for 20 minutes while they print your license, which is already done and on printer. Saw two employees, that NEVER helped anyone or did anything the entire two hour process. They literally walked around and tried to blend in as busy. The one gentleman did wipe a keyboard as if he was going to help, but then walked away and never returned. Complete mayhem .....

So you can imagine my expectations going your way the DMV in Oakland Park I was impressed however. Of course there was a line but it moved quickly and the person at the reception area was pleasant, actually helpful. From there it was simple. From start to finish I was there around 1 hour total . No DMV anywhere is "fun" but I have to say this was painless.

Located in the Pompano Citi Centre, the DMV is on the second floor where you have the option of entering via stairs or elevator. Thankfully the line was not long, and my daughter and I got inside pretty quickly. There was a bit of a wait for my daughter to get a ticket number cause the people before her were missing certain documents, thus holding up the line.
