This company has falsely advertised a vehicle for sale. My boyfriend and I both called and spoke with Kelly the receptionist and scheduled an appointment with Chris. We both made sure this vehicle was still on the lot so we could see it and test dive it when we got there for our 4pm appt. We were both told the vehicle was there. When we got there Chris was "unavailable" so another salesmen helped us. He then said "oh your here for the 2021 Kia K5 right, well that JUST sold". Mind you we had just called and made this appointment 2 hours prior. They then tried selling us another version of this vehicle with higher milage and an increase in the price. I'm very disappointed in the dealership as I have owned 2 prior vehicles from them.... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. What a shame :( read more

Worst service ever! I get free inspections for my Kia, it was part of the package, and for many years I passed with no issues. The last two years, since dealership has been under new management, I have failed for some ridiculous reason. Both times I opted not to have the dealer fix anything, and I took to my regular mechanic instead. Last year, I failed inspection because "drive axel is leaking." My regular mechanic did not find any problems so I never had anything fixed. This year, when I went back to the dealer for my free inspection, the reason for failure was something completely different. If I failed last year and never had the alleged problem fixed, don't you think I would have failed for the same thing this year? It is a bunch of crap! They are taking advantage of people's lack of knowledge about cars and charging for unnecessary work. On top of all that, I drove less than 1,500 during the year and I was charged for emissions testing when I should have been exempt. I questioned this at the dealer and the guy ringing up my order said that regulations changed. I researched when I got home and didn't find that to be true, so I called the dealer back and they said for me to stop back in for a refund. I don't live all that close and it was their fault for the overcharge. They have made a huge inconvenience for me and I no longer trust the competency of anyone that works a this location. My advice - take your vehicle some place else, or at least get a second opinion before you let these people do any kind of work on your car. read more

Update: we got the car back in (turns out the trunk also was no longer opening, not even manually) and they *fixed* the door issues/trunk. When they called to tell us a "wire connection was loose" they acted confused like their service techs weren't literally the ones to just fix/assemble the door the previous week so obviously something on THEIR end was messed up. They then *kindly* didn't charge us... like I hope that wasnt even up for debate since the issue was caused by their service department to begin with. read more

Don't ever purchase from this dealership. They put my girlfriend at risk knowing the engine was recalled and just cleared the code and told her it was safe, well now she needs a new engine and they refuse to give her a loaner and on top of that they want her to pay for a timing belt. Despite having two vehicles in a row blow an engine at just over 100,000 miles, this dealership will NOT stand behind their product, and only offered us $250 for a useless Kia Soul upside down $4k. Even tried to sell us a used vehicle AT STICKER PRICE for our troubles. So thoughtful, and crooked! Most insulting car dealership I've ever witnessed in life. The Sales Manager was indifferent and did NOTHING to help us out of a bad situation they created. They should be brought up on criminal charges for what they did to the American consumer. I give 3 stars. The salesman was good but the finance guy added all the gullible crap no one really needs without disclosing it. I was buying this vehicle for my 68 year old mother and without asking he comes back with a price which included things like "wheel and tire protection" and "key FOB replacement" etc. which added about $75 to the monthly payment. The car itself is great, but my mother drives maybe 200 miles a month and doesn't need all of that; key FOBs are huge these days, who would lose BOTH?? Anyways -saw it right away on the paper work and told him we didn't want it. He came up with a scenario that if she somehow lost both key FOBs they would cost $300 each to replace.. I said to the guy "I've bought many vehicles and never needed any of this stuff." His reply (in a more heated tone) was: "WELL I'VE SOLD A LOT MORE VEHICLES THAN YOU'VE BOUGHT!" - yes, I would hope so, being this was his career and he was in his 50s. I had them remove all the crap they tacked on to the monthly price, but the math still didn't add up. The price per month of the vehicle (2021 Kia Seltos SX) was still $20 more than it should have been after the $75 worth of gimmicky stuff was removed. So I had them do it again. I was not the most popular guy in the building that day but I know the tricks. They throw in all that extra crap but don't *really* mention it- but I caught it right away. I told my mom in front of the finance guy that this was "sucker stuff" - which it is, considering she has good insurance. Just like the "wheel and tire protection plan" they had added things like "free rental car" in the event her vehicle needed repairs for like $16 a month - when her car insurance already does that for like $2.50 a month. I just didn't appreciate the sneaky way they didn't mention any of it yet factored it into the monthly price and the math still didn't add up after the finance guy left to remove it m, and came back with different numbers. He was not happy, and I'm sorry, but this is just business. $75 a month for crap she doesn't need over just two years is $1,800. The vehicle itself is fantastic though. They take your keys and calculate your trade in like any other place until you want to leave. That is when they hold your keys hostage and tell you they misplaced them. Cue the bozo from their finance department to come out and not listen to you but steam roll you into thinking you are getting a good deal. This place is so unprofessional in their sales tactics. I bought my soccer mom sled Kia Sedona here last year and have been coming back regularly for maintenance. The place is clean, courteous, available, and very honest. Being a car dealership they are not in business to give away money but they are very fair with their pricing and most importantly open and honest. This dealership seems to pride itself on customer satisfaction and rightly so. Free amenities in the waiting room as well as a kid's section. To indicate MY personal level of costumer loyalty, I live in Lehighton, which has a Kia Dealership , but I drive the 40 minutes without complaint to Tom Rings Kia for all things great and small...including an oil change that I am waiting on currently. read more

PLEASE READ***** we moved from California to Pennsylvania recently. We needed an SUV. We are credit challenged to say the least. We went to Kia in Easton. They told us that we could get what we needed. The 1st visit my husband wanted to trade in one of our cars. The sales man said that if we walk away or surrender the car we could be fine. My father-in-law co-signed on that car. So he would be financially responsible for it. My husband left. They continued to call pretending that they care and want to fix the situation. They said we needed a co-signer. We brought one. They came back stating that we couldn't use her because she lived in California. They said that they were gonna let us take the car home. We did. They had us sign papers that to our stupidity we signed without reading. So before we left the dealership I asked them if we were going to have to bring the car back? Sales lady says " non we are gonna,make a deal." I would have NEVER taken the car home had she said that they were trying to finance we would have taken our cars home. 5 days later they call us saying that we cannot get financed. Never asked us to bring the car in. Said give them a couple days. Which we did. And yes I was extremely upset and let Ray the manager have it. So Armon called my husband and basically said that we need to bring the car back because it's like we stole it. That we can be charged with grand theft auto. No one ever asked us to bring the car back . They kept saying that they are trying to get us financed. At this point we have spent our payment that we had ready for the car that we were gonna trade in on oil for the winter. We are new to the east coast and we didn't do our homework with these guys . However, they should have never taken advantage of us the way they did!!! My husband said he is not comfortable driving a stolen car back to the dealer. They need to come get it themselves. I wanted to talk to him and ask him why they are so shady. That we are going to talk to a lawyer he then proceed to tell me that he will call the police and report the car as stolen . That we signed papers taking a "loaner car" . Well they stated on the papers that they were repairing my car. Which NEVER happened! I took both keys home with me. They had no access to my car. So now we are financially in trouble. I understand that they have rules to finance but to threaten us and lead us on like that. It was horrible! !! They are not good "FAMILY " people. We are a family of 5 that live paycheck to paycheck. We were trying to get ahead on our bills and now we are HURTING!! Do not go to these people. Please! This week I was fortunate enough to enjoy the hands-down most relaxing (really!) and favorable car-buying experiences to date. It is worthwhile to share my experience with all readers in hope that they too will leap at an opportunity for a great car from a reliable organization. The Car The Kia brand, over at least the past decade, has become highly reputable and all of the ratings I've researched online were convincing to me that this was worth ditching my Honda for. The lease options that Kia is offering are incredible and too good to pass up. The Cadenza, the model that I decided upon, may not yet have the widespread popularity like the Optima, Soul, etc., but I assure you that will change as I keep spreading the word to my family, friends, and coworkers. Everyone that has seen my new 2015 Cadenza is blown away! Style: This sedan is luxurious, sleek, and the paint color options are wonderful (e.g., satin metal - a silver and gold blend). The interior is stylish and creatively pairs modern and classic appearances. Two words: Moon roof! Performance: The drive and handling is smooth and silent. It "rides like a dream" someone that drove my car remarked. This type of acceleration is what I so sorely missed with my Honda Fit. Comfort: The Kia Cadenza nailed the comfort category! The multitude of adjustable settings and options to suit the driver AND passengers is perfectly executed. Technology: Arguably one of my favorite aspects of this vehicle is the high-tech vibe and available gadgets, which are abundant. The impressively large, bright touch-screen display (centered in the leather dashboard) is perfect for GPS navigation, reversing camera, and listening to various music apps from my smartphone. That brings me to mention the wide array of bluetooth capabilities and keyless entry, which makes commuting to and from work a joy. A few other favorite tech features worth mentioning are voice commands, heated seats (all of them!), and heated steering wheel. Durability: Impressively, this sedan does not sacrifice safety features and durability for the sake of style and luxury. Well done, Kia! Her approach was the benchmark of what We seek out in any customer service interaction; she was professional, presentable, well-spoken, and experienced. Chrissy (as I now refer to her), is knowledgeable about the vehicles, finance options and opportunities, and maintains a very personable and conversational attitude; a far cry from my last car purchase which was overwhelming and impersonal. The best part about Chrissy is that she didn't stop there - get this - she even delivered the Cadenza to my home after our deal was complete. One of a kind! The Deal: The precedent was set with this financial deal; the BDK personnel were transparent, flexible, and very considerate of my specific personal circumstances/needs. Robbie, in particular, was so patient and thorough in exploring all of the possible options before we agreed on exactly what deal I felt comfortable and confident with. Robbie managed to get me qualified for this beautiful Cadenza with an affordable monthly payment despite my less-than-desirable credit rating. The Family Organization: The customer-dealer relationship that Gary Lee's message promotes is genuine, and is evident by the number of repeat customers I've personally met. I'm posting a review 2 years after purchasing from Brown Daub KIA and.... I LOVE my first brand new car! A reliable 2014 KIA RIO! I used to hear the commercials on the radio and I heard them so much I figured I should give this place a try. I went to Brown Daub Kia in May of 2014 when I couldn't get a car loan anywhere else and my turbo was going on my SAAB. My credit score was VERY POOR at the time (540) but I did have a $3,000 down payment. I am very thankful to Brown Daub Kia for getting me into a brand new car that I very desperately needed! Without Brown Daub Kia I would have found myself purchasing another overpriced, used, headache, hunk of junk. The great thing is if you live close you can get free oil changes for life! 9/27/18 loving my Rio still :) I will be coming back for my next car I would like something a little newer soon. read more

I will begin this review by acknowledging my own mistake in the process, which was continuing with a sale when my better judgment should have stopped me. I suggest you read to the end of the review though just to save yourself from making similar mistakes. I went to Brown Daub Kia to purchase my second Kia from a Brown Duab dealership. Like most, I was excited, happy to be going to a place where I had a prior good experience, but also anxious and nervous. I CANNOT DISAGREE with any comments about the comfortable atmosphere or friendly service that I received; however, I suspect that they have learned how to ably use cookies, cold beverages and friendly dispositions to make customers feel comfortable and at ease in the buying process. I commend these efforts, as I find car buying to be a stressful experience. Within an hour or so of being there, I had selected a vehicle, received pricing options and tried to negotiate my price as close as possible to the number I had in mind when I walked through the door. However, I did give in on pricing a bit and accepted $30 more per month and a larger down payment than I wanted because I liked the vehicle AND BECAUSE AT 12,000 MILES, IT SEEMED AS "LIKE NEW" as a used car can be. At this point I had a 2.5 hour process of waiting while the financial guys "did their magic," eventually leaving me a little impatient and irritable. I can once again say, without hesitation, that the sales people make every effort to ensure your comfort during this time. Eventually, the salesman came out with the paperwork and I was all too happy to sign based on our agreed terms and get out of there with my new vehicle. After signing all the financial paperwork and mileage disclosures, the salesman dropped the CarFax report in front of me. The vehicle had been in an accident that involved the police and a tow truck. I paused and looked at the salesman and told him I really think this information should have been out earlier. He said he understood, but this is the way they were directed to disclose CarFax reports. Now, I know that I should have asked for it before and you can say it's my own fault, but I guess I just think it's a damn shame that dishonesty is a given and constant vigilance is accepted the only way to do business. I certainly would not have agreed to the financial terms had I known this information, and I would have had a lot more room in negotiating terms with it. They knew this and withheld it until I had been there for over four hours and was practically begging to get home. I'm not saying Brown Daub Kia is so much shadier than other dealerships in practice. Maybe this is just the nature of the business, which is why decent, honest people hate the car buying process so much. I think it was especially egregious as a violation because they highlight honesty as a core value of the business, advertising that "an educated consumer is a happy consumer". In the end, though, just be wary. They will cover you in cookies and bottled beverages and smiles you feel like you're in good hands, but they are still car salesman and making no efforts to improve the reputation of the profession or heighten the practices of it. I recently bought my second and final vehicle from Brown Daub and will give another dealership a chance at my business when I upgrade in a couple of years. read more

There is a first time for everything I suppose, so when cargurus directed me to this dealership in my search for a Genesis, I was surprised that I had to "register" with my email address and phone number just to see inventory. OK I thought, I'll play along. I get onto the website, only to find there are no prices, just a message "call for pricing" next to each car. OK, I'll bite. I called and asked for the price of a 2015 Hyundai Genesis and was told "we are trying to make room for new 2018 models, so make an offer." I made an offer and was put on hold since the agent needed to check with the boss. She came back and said, "that sounds like a fair offer, when can you come in?" I figured something was not right, and against my better judgement I drove 52 miles only to be told after the test drive that the best price was $7k more than my offer over the phone. The salesman then said he didn't know anything about my phone conversation or my $12k offer for the car. We always pay for our education, and that day it cost be about 3 hours of my time. But all was not lost, it was the first time test driving the Genesis and I really loved the car. After I left these bottom feeders, I drove to another dealership much closer to home and bought a fully loaded 2012 Genesis with 20k less miles. I made a great deal with a dealership that actually posted real prices and didn't make me jump through hoops to register online. If you have too much time on your hands and like to listen to car salesmen try and tell you what a great deal you're getting, while showing you a piece of paper with four squares filled with numbers that don't represent the real value of the car you're interested in, if you don't mind paying more than you should, this is the place for you. read more

His credit wasn't good enough to finance, which shouldn't have been a problem because we were looking for a used car around $7000 to buy outright. The salesman, Troy, starts going through the list of people that can co-sign. How about your parents, grandparents and finally me. I explained that I went through a bankruptcy and I'm trying to rebuild my credit and I don't want a hit on my credit report. He assured me that it was just a soft hit and wouldn't be a hard hit until they submit to the bank for the loan. So I grudgingly agreed. My credit must have been good enough because he takes us out to show us a car. A $24000 car. We couldn't be further apart there. We wanted $7000 with no payments. We leave and I get home and I'm notified that there's been a change to my credit report. A hard hit from Brown Daub Kia, the only place we even looked.
