    2022 Kia K5 GT

Came in thinking I was going to buy my lease out due to the low inventory. Turns out I got a brand new car that I fell in love within my price range!!! Thank you so much Bill and the other people who helped me out with the process and it made it so effortless. I had leased my car from here previously and had a great turnout. Super glad to have the same experience again!

I give 3 stars. The salesman was good but the finance guy added all the gullible crap no one really needs without disclosing it. I was buying this vehicle for my 68 year old mother and without asking he comes back with a price which included things like "wheel and tire protection" and "key FOB replacement" etc. which added about $75 to the monthly payment. The car itself is great, but my mother drives maybe 200 miles a month and doesn't need all of that; key FOBs are huge these days, who would lose BOTH?? Anyways -saw it right away on the paper work and told him we didn't want it. He came up with a scenario that if she somehow lost both key FOBs they would cost $300 each to replace.. I said to the guy "I've bought many vehicles and never needed any of this stuff." His reply (in a more heated tone) was: "WELL I'VE SOLD A LOT MORE VEHICLES THAN YOU'VE BOUGHT!" - yes, I would hope so, being this was his career and he was in his 50s. I had them remove all the crap they tacked on to the monthly price, but the math still didn't add up. The price per month of the vehicle (2021 Kia Seltos SX) was still $20 more than it should have been after the $75 worth of gimmicky stuff was removed. So I had them do it again. I was not the most popular guy in the building that day but I know the tricks. They throw in all that extra crap but don't *really* mention it- but I caught it right away. I told my mom in front of the finance guy that this was "sucker stuff" - which it is, considering she has good insurance. Just like the "wheel and tire protection plan" they had added things like "free rental car" in the event her vehicle needed repairs for like $16 a month - when her car insurance already does that for like $2.50 a month. I just didn't appreciate the sneaky way they didn't mention any of it yet factored it into the monthly price and the math still didn't add up after the finance guy left to remove it m, and came back with different numbers. He was not happy, and I'm sorry, but this is just business. $75 a month for crap she doesn't need over just two years is $1,800. The vehicle itself is fantastic though. KIA has come a long way!

I purchased my 2017 Kia Forte S October 25, 2016. I am officially obsessed!! For the first few weeks I was just in shock that I was able to drive away with such a nice, brand new vehicle! My boyfriend and I went in thinking we were looking for a used SUV. I very much wanted my next car to have a lot of safety features like the autonomous braking and rear back up camera but thought, with my credit, I couldn't afford it. Jordan and his team at this Kia dealership knew my credit situation wasn't unique and that they could help! I love my new baby and the BF (who wanted a turbo charged sporty something) adores it as well! The sport mode is his favorite while I prefer to cruise in Eco mode. The ApplePlay is so cool and I got my auto braking, rear back up AND blind spot detection! I feel very safe in this car and would recommend it to anyone... literally anyone will enjoy this vehicle. Thank you, Jordan and the rest of my new family at Brown Daub Kia! - Mike and Meg from Phillipsburg, NJ

It sounds kind of lame to review a car dealership but as I sit in the service waiting room...why not? I bought my soccer mom sled Kia Sedona here last year and have been coming back regularly for maintenance. The place is clean, courteous, available, and very honest. Being a car dealership they are not in business to give away money but they are very fair with their pricing and most importantly open and honest. This dealership seems to pride itself on customer satisfaction and rightly so. Free amenities in the waiting room as well as a kid's section. To indicate MY personal level of costumer loyalty, I live in Lehighton, which has a Kia Dealership , but I drive the 40 minutes without complaint to Tom Rings Kia for all things great and small...including an oil change that I am waiting on currently.

We never had any repairs done

PLEASE READ***** we moved from California to Pennsylvania recently. We needed an SUV. We are credit challenged to say the least. We went to Kia in Easton. They told us that we could get what we needed. The 1st visit my husband wanted to trade in one of our cars. The sales man said that if we walk away or surrender the car we could be fine. My father-in-law co-signed on that car. So he would be financially responsible for it. My husband left. They continued to call pretending that they care and want to fix the situation. They said we needed a co-signer. We brought one. They came back stating that we couldn't use her because she lived in California. They said that they were gonna let us take the car home. We did. They had us sign papers that to our stupidity we signed without reading. So before we left the dealership I asked them if we were going to have to bring the car back? Sales lady says " non we are gonna, make a deal." I would have NEVER taken the car home had she said that they were trying to finance we would have taken our cars home. 5 days later they call us saying that we cannot get financed. Never asked us to bring the car in. Said give them a couple days. Which we did. And yes I was extremely upset and let Ray the manager have it. So Armon called my husband and basically said that we need to bring the car back because it's like we stole it. That we can be charged with grand theft auto. No one ever asked us to bring the car back . They kept saying that they are trying to get us financed. At this point we have spent our payment that we had ready for the car that we were gonna trade in on oil for the winter. We are new to the east coast and we didn't do our homework with these guys . However, they should have never taken advantage of us the way they did!!! My husband said he is not comfortable driving a stolen car back to the dealer. They need to come get it themselves. I wanted to talk to him and ask him why they are so shady. That we are going to talk to a lawyer he then proceed to tell me that he will call the police and report the car as stolen . That we signed papers taking a "loaner car" . Well they stated on the papers that they were repairing my car. Which NEVER happened! I took both keys home with me. They had no access to my car. So now we are financially in trouble. I understand that they have rules to finance but to threaten us and lead us on like that. It was horrible! !! They are not good "FAMILY " people. We are a family of 5 that live paycheck to paycheck. We were trying to get ahead on our bills and now we are HURTING!! Do not go to these people. Please! We were very naive to trust them and we should have never signed the papers. We thought they wanted to help our family and they took advantage of us.

Her attitude brings a 5 star review ( we had Josh who was fantastic) like to give Josh a huge Shout Out, to a one or two star review.  When you bring your car into a dealership for work having someone that show compassion can ease the issue you are going through. When I rented the car it says I left at 8:58 Wednesday that's the time the transaction started I left at 9:30 . I brought it back at 10 am Saturday after hearing the car was fixed . We were there at 10 am and waited in line while Josh finished with a couple in front of us.  Then Josh went through what was owed and even went above and beyond recommended ways to prevent this from happening again.  I get to the check out at on the rental side and hand in my keys to Bridgette. She asks me where the car is and I said right there in the bay. She jumps up, saying oh they don't like that and ran into the shop to move the car. Right there It felt like I did something wrong. No hello , no good morning.  Then the bill came it showed 3 days rented. Which I thought was fine signed and got into my car. My wife noticed that instead of charging for 3 days I was charged for 4 and immediately went back to the counter to speak with Bridgette. She told my wife he should have been here on time if he didn't want to get charged for the extra day.   That's not a 5 star answer or experience. She was rude and condescending.

Koch 33 Ford, DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CLIENT SAFETY!!!…read more Koch 33 Ford sold me a vehicle that should have never passed state inspection or allowed to be driven off the lot. Below is my side of the story. I have an inspection report from a local garage attached. I took a used SUV that I was interested in for a test drive with salesmen Greg in the passenger seat, it had new inspection stickers on it. Made a right-hand turn heard knocking that got faster as I slowed down, then eventually stopped (Greg acknowledged that he heard it also) I also mentioned that the SUV struggles to stop, like the brakes need work (Greg did not acknowledge that statement). But as I said above the SUV had brand new inspections stickers on it, weeks old inspection stickers according to the date. How bad could it be? I get a good price with negotiating for a short time and bought the Toyota RAV4. Fastest purchase I ever made at a dealership. Should have been a sign! I took the SUV to a local garage the next week to get it looked over with a purchase inspection, I want a background on the SUV, a list of things I will want to start fixing or maintaining since it is an older 2007 with 166K on it (bought it as a secondary or beater) so there will be old parts and neglected things that were put off by the previous owner(s), we all do it! Want to get ahead of things to get the old SUV to last. Expecting it to be a safe and solid car, only to find that I have been driving an SUV for a little over a week that should NOT HAVE PASSED State-Inspection. Brake Pads were rusted and warn, Rotors/Linkages are warn/rusted and have bad compression (makes sense why the SUV, STRUGGLES TO STOP!). BOTH REAR SWAY BARS BUSTED, (makes sense why the SUV, WAS KNOCKING ON TURNS) along with 2 other red safety issues that no garage will let a vehicle pass, was the cabin filter needed replaced and 5 safety or exterior lights on the SUV were out or nonfunctional (the Filter and Lights I had fixed on the spot since that was expected and to me not a big deal). I called to see what Koch 33 Ford could do since I drove a vehicle off the lot that is NOT ROAD WORTHY, they really did not seem to have a sense of urgency (was not them in the car and they have their money). I feel that they do not care that they sold me a vehicle that I could have gotten hurt or done harm to others (or worse), even though they inspected the SUV a few weeks before I bought it. Since they were not showing signs of getting back to me (hours went by) no return call, I got the SUV back from Dave's Auto in Stockertown and brought the SUV back to Koch 33 Ford myself and talked to one of the sales managers, Jim (since Greg was with another customer) It seemed like Jim already had my car info pulled up, looking into things which was insuring. I told Jim that it is not a safe car that I am just giving Koch the key and provided them with the inspection report from Dave's, I would like to know how they intended to fix it and a schedule. Only to get resistance saying "the rotors and brakes passed inspection when they had it" I asked them to look it over and give another opinion they can keep it and left, I did not want to get into an argument. A full day day went by with no call or contact in any way. So, I stopped in again on my way home from work (1 and a half days) after around lunch. Only to find out that they intended to just fix the sway bars, had to show them Dave's inspection report AGAIN, with the braking system as well, that was about to turn into an argument, but the sales manager said that he was going to talk to the techs because he doesn't know inspection laws. 10 minuets later he came back and finally said we will fix that also "parts were just ordered". I do not really trust them much right now, so I may have it checked again. I am glad I did not wait to have the vehicle looked over by someone else, I feel that if months went by I would have been shafted, either had a crash or brought it in because something was not working right, and been stuck with a heavy repair bill! That they would have said, it is on you to fix this is typical maintenance, wear and tear on a vehicle of that age. Even though if I was paying for an inspection, if it was my car already they would not have passed it the first time. Koch 33 Ford, does the bare minimum to scrape by with inspections when they are selling a used car overlooked fatal items (thinking about reporting them to the state or PennDOT!) and will sell you a vehicle that is not fit to be on the road! Everyone knows that if you were getting the car regularly inspected at the establishment they would not pass it and charge you for every little thing like wiper blades. I had to go through a lot of effort to get them to do the right thing with a UNSAFE suv! I have photos of my local garage's inspection report attached if interested, sorry for the book. James was my sales associate and I can't speak highly enough about how thorough and prepared he was. After purchasing the car, I noticed a leftover residue on the trim (likely from the detailing process) and within an hour James had already coordinated a service/detail inspection and followed up with me several times prior to that appointment. At the time of my service/detail appointment, Ethan was fantastic, walking through all the steps/process and keeping me updated of their plan. Rather than keeping me sitting around the waiting room, they got my lyfts to and from my home and continued to check in with me (even as far as sending me photos of the repair itself)! When I came to pick up the car, they inspected the repair with me to make sure I didn't have any other concerns, and went as far as to take my car through the car wash and top off with gas before I left, which I have never had a dealership (private or corporate) do before.
