In December 19 2025 I had MOHS surgery on my nose.When I left the day of surgery I tried to make an appointment for my recheck which was supposed to be six weeks . The receptionist said they would contact me because the calendar for 2026 was not in the computer yet .Forward to March 2026 still no phone call ,when I did call there weren't any appointments until June which had to be cancelled by myself because of my husbands illness ,even after I explained I'm high risk for skin cancer .Also I'm having a lot of pain in my nose going up to my middle forehead .I just called a few hours ago with me being second in line,they were supposed to call right back ,it's now two hours later still nothing I don't know what is going on with Brown Health,it's not good. read more

2.45 hours calling and on hold regardless of the quality of doctors is a really bad setup. When you have a skin cancer and you cannot call a doctor back to set up an appointment, this is not good! Furthermore the answering system has very rude people in it. They are about as caring as a rock. read more

My experience with the billing department is the absolute worst experience I have ever had trying to resolve a bill. You have to leave a message with a message service, never get ahold of them directly, and will be lucky if you get a call back. It will definitely NOT be within 2 days as they the state. They are unable to competently submit claims to insurance but finally when they do get it right, your insurance tells you that that you shouldn't owe anything as the claim is way too late. You just pay the bill to make the pain stop but demand a refund for the horrible experience and because even your insurance won't pay them at this point. What do they do... send you the refund because they agree you should get your money back along with a new bill for the same amount! Insanity! I unfortunately did not choose to use their services rather my original dermatologist used the pathology services and what a mess. I would avoid this place. read more

I just can't understand why there are so many negative reviews and they only have one star! I began seeing Dr. Joshipura about a year ago. I've had several procedures performed by him and removal of three pre cancerous lesions on my face...he and his staff and the Medical Students have been nothing but professional, extremely knowledgeable and courteous. From the front desk person, to the medical assistants and physician... I have received nothing but superb care, understanding and compassion. I would definitely recommend this practice. The physicians are easily reached through the Healow App and they respond within a few hours. The only downside is Lifespan's phone answering system when there is an emergency and one can't make an appointment at the last minute...like when I had a pipe burst in our basement and had the plumber here and I was going to be either quite late for my appointment or not make it at all... it takes forever to get through and then you must leave a message and they never call back..but this is not a Brown Dermatology issue, it's a Lifespan problem which should be addressed. All I can say is thank you to each and every person at both the Fain Building and APC offices. Great job! read more

Visited Dr. Fiore's office for the first time and at checkin she was running 45 minutes behind; it's now 1.5 hours later and I'm still waiting to be seen. The staff is rude and assumed I wanted to see a resident without asking at all and then got pissed when I said no. Apparently they started doing chemical peels and it didn't go well today. Beyond frustrating - to add insult to injury the door was open and the doctor came out of the next room and exclaimed "oh good she left" only to appear in the door way with "oh , hi, your here - they told me you left." WTF. Pure medical arrogance in headache form. read more

Mother had an appt. called to cancel and they said "you do not have an appointment." Well, she apparently DID have an appointment and then the billed her for a no show! Which, by the way, is illegal when a person is on Medicare. She called to clear it up and they refused to delete the charge. 6 months later still trying to get it straightened out. read more

Received a reminder for an appointment on 3/24 at Socanossett Crossroad, Cranston, when I got there on time, all the signs were in the lobby etc. but when I got to the door the sign was blocked out. Office was closed. No notice on the door, not notice in the building... Called when I got home, on hold 30 minutes, stating call # 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and when my turn came.... they put me in voice mail..... Pretty frustrating. This place is completely unethical and money hungry. MONTHS after a subpar simple procedure (mind you I was misdiagnosed and still have cyst) and having paid my total at the office the day of service as they require I am being charged an additional $280. I was quoted for and paid the amount the doctor (while his assistant was present) yet now are magically saying that is not what is reflected in the drs notes but cant explain why I paid an additional $50 at time of service. Because I am being fraudulently billed in excess and way above my original quote without authorization. I never authorized the supposed extra lab work they did yet expect me to pay for this. I have filed a complaint with the attorney general and plan to pursue the matter legally through the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I cant believe a professional would act like this.
