Both have been nice but I just feel that I am rushed during all these appointments. Colloquially people joke about the 5-10 minute doctor visits and I feel that way when I go to Skin Pros. Maybe that's the way it is at all dermatology offices.... The front office staff is average, I feel like a number when I check in, not as a human being, but again, they see many many people a day and that can make the receptionists, a bit curt. There's a free parking lot in the back of the building.

At follow-up appointment, when treatment area was infected, nurse named "Paul" glanced at problem area from 2 - 3 feet away and said "it's supposed to look like that", so I ended up bringing it to the attention of a nurse elsewhere, who agreed it was infected and started me on treatment, which worked. Because of nurse Paul's lack of care / attention, I will not be returning, and will advise others to seek treatment elsewhere.

I've had several procedures performed by him and removal of three pre cancerous lesions on my face...he and his staff and the Medical Students have been nothing but professional, extremely knowledgeable and courteous. From the front desk person, to the medical assistants and physician... I have received nothing but superb care, understanding and compassion. I would definitely recommend this practice. The physicians are easily reached through the Healow App and they respond within a few hours. The only downside is Lifespan's phone answering system when there is an emergency and one can't make an appointment at the last minute...like when I had a pipe burst in our basement and had the plumber here and I was going to be either quite late for my appointment or not make it at all... it takes forever to get through and then you must leave a message and they never call back..but this is not a Brown Dermatology issue, it's a Lifespan problem which should be addressed. All I can say is thank you to each and every person at both the Fain Building and APC offices. Great job!

I now intend on removing all of my old tattoos with them. They have gained my trust. I was told that the incisions would be placed in the natural crease of my eyelids and would be minimally noticeable. However, the scars sit above the crease -- especially on the right side and are more visible than I was led to believe. In addition, both eyes have a noticeable bump on the inner corner near the nose, which was not something I expected or was prepared for. I understand that all surgery involves scarring, but my concern is that the placement and appearance of these scars do not match what I was told during the consultation. When I brought this up during a follow‑up visit, I felt dismissed. The surgeon physically backed away from me as I explained my concerns, which made me feel unheard and uncomfortable. I had hoped for a more supportive and transparent conversation about my options. Overall, I am disappointed with both the outcome and the communication surrounding it.
