Result $70 Total Bill for an routine eye exam: $160 Be VERY skeptical of this place. In 2024 I went to the office for my appointment and was told it had been cancelled and they has called me to tell me that. They had never called and I showed them my phone with all my calls and there was nothing from them. Arrogantly, they told me I was wrong and they were right. Last year, I was having visual migraines and was told by my neurologist that I needed to see Dr. Lang, so I called to make an appointment. I was told I could not see him and would have to make an appointment with one of their optometrists, not what I needed to see. When I finally was able to see Dr. Lang on my scheduled appointment, I told him this story and he said it was totally unacceptable. Unfortunately, he has no understanding off what is going on in his front office. Finally, I have an appointment with Dr Lang in May of this year that I need to reschedule as I will not be in the state that month. I called to reschedule the appointment and they have told me that I cannot reschedule this appointment as he has no availability in any of his four offices for the remainder of the year. I asked if I could make an appointment early next year and was told that was not possible, yet my wife had an appointment with him this past week and they scheduled and appointment for her a year from now. . So I guess if you cannot make your scheduled appointment with this practice you can never get another appointment. This is not a way to run a doctors office and these people are as incompetent as any staff I have ever dealt with. Hopefully, Dr Lang can read this review and see what his front office staff is doing to his practice.

I went to all of my father's eye appointments and Dr Lang was always so kind and patient. He explained all of my father's problems and treatments so that we could understand. One thing that really stood out to me was that Dr Lang goes above and beyond for his patients. He saw my father on a weekend for a follow up when the office was closed because he felt it was urgent. I will never forget Dr Lang for his humanity, his kind and quiet demeanor. He is an angel sent from above. Thank you Dr Lang and I will definitely pay forward to my patients as a pediatric nurse.

I went to Dr. Zangari to get a second opinion on my eyes, and it turned out to be a really bad…read moreexperience. I need cataract surgery, which is a routine operation, and he seemed to be annoyed that I wanted a second opinion on something so routine. I've never had an operation before, and my eyesight is important to me, so I felt the need to talk to a second doctor. (Isn't that what a good patient is supposed to do?) Zangari was impatient, condescending and abrupt. He showed little interest in answering my questions. In fact, I suspect it irritated him that I arrived with a list of questions, and we only covered a few of them. At one point, for no cause that I could figure out, he commented that I seemed to want to be the doctor. All I wanted was his feedback on some of the things I had read -- e.g., on the three different types of replacement lenses -- but he cut that conversation short. Indeed, he cut the entire visit short, and I spent the remainder of the day (and most of the week) feeling humiliated. Since I won't be going back to him, my money was wasted. My sense of the man is that he is egotistical and wants to feel like the only intelligent person in the room. He may behave this way with only certain types of patients, such as patients who strike him as intelligent or knowledgeable (perhaps because they make him feel threatened), or patients who want specific answers. However, these are just speculations on my part. If I am speculating, it is only because the way he treated me was so puzzling. Most doctors like patients who are well informed and have good comprehension. If he had treated me nicely, I might have bought glasses from him (my eye doctor doesn't dispense glasses). We could have had a business relationship for years to come. In addition to all that, his assistant used a machine on me that Medicare does not cover, and they now expect me to pay $49 for that. I'm not even sure they have a right to charge me for that. On the phone, I had asked them if they "accept assignment" (meaning, do they charge only the fees that Medicare has approved?), and I was told "yes". I think they should have told me that I would have to pay for that procedure.

There are other offices in this building as well. There is a parking lot in front of the building, but I didn't see any reserved spots for Eyediology Vision. Instead, I parked on one of the side streets. We were welcomed by friendly staff during check-in. There is an area with water, soda, and coffee for patients. The office is very modern, clean, and organized. The technician did some tests and then I met Dr. Kriti Bhagat. Dr. Bhagat is the owner and founder of Eyediology Vision. She was very professional and friendly. My husband purchased glasses with Eyediology Vision and the staff were very helpful in the process. They really care about you feeling comfortable with the glasses. I am looking forward to my next annual visit with Dr. Kriti Bhagat.

She thought there was an issue, so the office set me up with Dr. Kriti Bhagat, OD, FAAO. Eyediology Vision is only about 8 months old, and on the East Side in the Bliss building. It is difficult to park; there are only 2 spaces in the parking lot for visitors. There is on street parking if you get lucky enough to find a spot, or a pay lot not far from the building. The office itself is gorgeous! Black and white finishes, and the equipment is state of the art. The staff were very personable and friendly. Dr. Bhagat is just as friendly, took her time with me, and explained everything she was doing in layman terms, and that made my visit a great one. She specializes in my type of lenses- the reason I am grateful my doctor referred me here. If you are looking for an eye doctor, this new office is the place to try!

I called in the morning and asked for an appointment, because I was seeing a really big floater in…read moremy right eye and since I am very nearsighted, I wanted to make sure that it was just a floater and nothing serious. I was told that they don't have any availability and the next appointment would be in 4 months. All they could do was write down my number and call me in case of a cancellation (they never called). Luckily, I called another ophthalmologist practice and the receptionist there knew that a big floater combined with heavy nearsightedness could be something serious, so she gave me an appointment within an hour. It turned out it wasn't a floater, but a tear in my retina and I needed emergency laser surgery that same afternoon. I was told it that it was a good thing that I came in that same day, because had I waited any longer it could have turned into a detached retina. I cannot fathom how an ophthalmologist practice does not know that a big floater in very nearsighted people can mean a retinal tear or detachment and therefore is considered an emergency. I have never encountered a medical practice that did not make availability for emergencies or at least told the patient calling with such urgent symptoms to seek medical help elsewhere that same day. Maybe it was for the best that this office didn't have any availability for me, I have serious doubts now about their competency.
